sore... no more!!!

  1. sore... no more!!!

I was just wondering what is the best supplement or protein or whatever anyone has taken that helps repair and restore you muscles so you can keep lifting hard everyday. I don't want to be lifting for nothing, I want to lift hard everyday but I want my body to grow and recover correctly. Just wondering what kind of input everyone had. Thanks...

  11. There are two ways to go about this: 1) nutrition, 2) lactic acid buffers, etc.

    1) nutrition is always key, and I am not a huge fan of all the pre- intra- post- formulas. Engineered nutrition is fine, but IMO we'd all be better off eating real fresh food; the biggest guys I know don't do all that nonsense, they simply eat lots of good food.

    2) there are products which seriously decrase the amount of damage to the muscle from lifting. If you stack MAN Clout and Body Octane, you'll have to try very hard to feel like you are over-training. Any citrulline, beta alanine, creatine formula will help. Citrulline is a huge part of why people have such great luck with bcaa's; the two most popular formulas hace 1gr citrulline per serving, and most people take 2-3 servings around each workout. The bcaa's are good, but IMO its ther citrulline helping recovery as much as the bcaa's.

    Awesome.

    All 3 flavors are great:

Cherry Berry Blast - the original flavor, it's strong so if you like strong flavors this is up your alley

Green Apple Avalanche - Milder yet sweeter and really, really good

Sour Citrus Rush - new flavor, smells like fruit loops, tastes like Tang with a little bite.

  14. Glutamine helps me out about getting sore.

  15. A couple weeks ago I saw a new product that just came out I think it was called Tex-OE. Its an extract of prickly pair cactus, that when ingested elevates the body's heat shock protiens. Essentially it protects you from any type of INDUCED stress. I saw info on a thread here on AM then I found an article on line. Here's the article:

    http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/03/prweb511866.htm

I've never tried it but it could definitely be worth a shot. It's supposed to be fantastic for reducing recovery time.

  16. never tried it myself, but a friend of mine swears by torrent. he took it religiously and got pretty big and apparently never got sore cuz he ended up benching like 6 days a week... lol

  17. alright im pretty sure im going to go with torrent.. thanks...
