11-oxo VS. Lean FX

  1. 11-oxo VS. Lean FX

    Both are Cortisol blockers,,, but one is hormonal and one is not...

    Is 11-oxo really that much better at fat loss during a cut than Lean FX ?

  2. No 11-OXO is not "that" much better than leanfx...i would personally buy leanfx...or any product taht contains 7-oh-dhea

  3. but it is better tho, right?! why?! or why not

  4. From what I've read 11-oxo will give better gains, but unfortunately the gains seem to be lost when coming off of it. Where 7-keto products seem to give a little less, but you keep the gains. Plus 11-oxo needs to be dosed pretty high to be effective and it gets very expensive.

  5. IMO 11-OXO would be better if you were stacking with another hormonal product. running solo, I would go with Lean FX.

    7-hydroxy-DHEA (aka 7-OH-DHEA) is not the same thing as 7-keto-DHEA (aka 7-oxo-DHEA). 7-OH is the better of the two.

    ...and I want to say that B-Androstenetriol (b-triol) is supposed to be superior over the aforementioned cortisol blockers, which I believe is what is now in Lean FX.

    EDIT - And FWIIW, I just dug this up:

    You've never heard of 17b-triol?! That was the main active in Retain2 and it's in X-Lean as well. Very basically, these anti-cortisol things go by the way of DHEA.

    DHEA -> 7-Keto DHEA -> 7-OH DHEA -> B-triol

    How it works is pretty simple (I think). Cortisone, a benign hormone, converts into Cortisol with the help of a CYP450 enzyme. When 7-oxygenated interconvert between metabolites, they take up (inhibit) this very same enzyme, leading to reduced cortisol production. Furthermore, the various metabolites produce some other fatburning effects by increasing thyroid activity as well as activating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPAR's, for short).

    ...and that's just one aspect of LeanFX's formulation.

    Aye, Cap'n...what he said!

    You also want to take into consideration that while 11oxo is one substance, LeanFX is a combination of ingredients - different means to the end. 17b-triol is very good, but the other ingredients work in various other methods to help in fat loss. In all, it's an ideal product standalone for cort control during PCT, alone for fat loss, or stacked with a thermo/stim combo for a really good cut.
