    What is the best muscle building supplement you have used or experimented with? Obviously not protein or multivitamin and preferably not creatine!!


    Edit: by saying "obviously not protein or multivitamin" i meant because those are the staple supplements to be taken year round, not saying obviously they do not build muscle!


  2. Dude... I am looking at what peoples opinions are because I am trying to decide what to take next. Yes, i read reviews and all but I was curious. I read that a high dose of BCAAs would actually greatly increase muscle but was still weighing out the options of if anything sounds better for me.

  7. the problem with your question is that theres no single "Best Muscle Building Supplement" and everyone will give you a different answer, including PH suggestions...

    there are many key supplements you take pre-workout or post-workout and some for recovery....

    your question is too broad... its like asking what type of car should i buy next.

    do more research on supplements and find out what you need to start taking

I was saying I would rather not hear those as answers because I know already that they are necessary to build muscle. I was asking about in general any other supplement that you guys have used that you would consider an excellent mass builder. I am surprised to see how many people attack you for asking a question that was just saying which supplements do you guys like, especially on a forum about supplements. And just a heads up, I am not some uneducated kid trying to get JacKdD. I have been working out for a while and was just seeing if you guys could name anything I havent looked into yet.

    Now that you've clarified, it makes more sense...the problem is your original post seemed a little vague in your wording..youve got some good answers though.

  12. Sorry about the clarity of the first post. Now that i read through it, it looks like I am saying protein and multivitamins do NOT build muscle lol. Well thanks for the legitimate answers. With the BCAAs, what kind of gains should I expect, if everything else (diet, training, rest, etc.) was in place? I have never taken any supplement specifically for BCAAs.

  18. Thanks Steveoph. Have you ever tried Leukic? I know alot of people dont like Muscletech but I have heard some good reviews on it.

    I've tried Leukic...Id say its slightly more effective than plain Leucine, but just *SLIGHTLY*, so it's not really cost effective. You can prob add some BCAAs to equal the effect.

  20. I just bough Xtend so I'm curious if I will see any difference with taking it. I'm not really expecting much though.
