In to see if anybody has actually tried this. Seems like way overkill and going into dangerous territory.

I have used sublingual spray glyceryl trinitrate purely out of curiosity (side note- it's a schedule 3 in Aus- aka doesn't require a script- ie not illegal).
As I had predicted it did nothing but make me dizzy for a minute or two and gave me a headache.
Nitrate donors like glyceryl trinitrate (not orally active) and isosorbide mononitrate are very short lived (unless in modified formulations) and by virtue is activity it likely limited to major endothelial tissue.
I would imagine any potential ergogenic benefits would require more than a few minutes of activity.

Other vasodilators, such as K+ channel opening agents (eg nicorandil, minoxidil)- would likely not elicit any desirable activity either.
These medications activity is independent of nitric oxide- therefore any hypothetical beneficial NO signalling would not be active.

Cialis. I am not a fan of a the practice but taking 10mg/day seems to be the new things for increased pumps and vascularity. Overkill IMO as it's not an entirely benign drug.

Mehhh. Don't want to take a synthetic med just for aesthetics.

But I can appreciate why someone would.
