Lets face it, the majority of the research we come across use the maurine (rat) model. While this isnt ideal it is what it is, so how do we take take the mg/kg ratio that is given to the rats and apply them to humans?

Here is the equation you use to find the human equilivent does (HED)


HED (mg/kg) = Animal dose (mg/kg) * (Animal K m : Human K m )
