SilentBob's Adrenalean Induced Summer of Fun (sponsored)

http://anabolicminds.com/forum/designer-supplements/83448-adrenalean-writeup.html

That's right guys and girls. I've been given the privilege to try one bottle of Designer Supplements Adrenalean! Thank you haiz69, Matt Cahill, and the whole of Designer Supplements for not only giving me this opportunity but also for making a product line that walks a different line than most companies out there.

My first dance with DS was a bottle of Glucophase. Speaking of, where's the new Glucophase that we're all still chomping at the bit for?

Anyways, as with my current workout log, I will be posting my daily lifts and thoughts. Included in this log I will try to have most of my focus be on the Adrenalean in terms of craving control, energy, euphoria, and fat loss. (Yes, I'm reading these off the front of the bottle.)

I will keep a general report of my diet. It's primarily oats, tuna, eggs, allthewhey, apples, bananas, spinach, walnuts, and fish oil. I will track the daily caloric intake for the first few days to gauge how much I'm eating and adjust accordingly. It should be between 2700 and 3000 calories but if I don't pay attention for too long it'll drop to 2100 :aargh:

I will post pictures every week. I'm currently running an unsponsored log for atomic meltdown in which I post pictures everyday, so if you need some daily SilentBob, I'll be there. I can flex for you, but I tend to take my pictures relaxed, primarily cause they're usually taken after dinner and a tablespoon of fiber so I'm not feeling like showing off :) (Be warned, Trapzilla's been itchin' to make an appearance.)

My initial thoughts is that this is going to be a very fun log. I'm out of school so I have total control of my feeding and lifting, which is totally radical. I'm thinking of going keto, but I think I'll hold off until this log is done before I do that...although, it would definately help with rating the craving control aspect. I don't know, too much new stuff at once compromises a log, nevermind, no keto for Bobo. (it rhymes)

10:30 - 1tbsp psyllium

Tonight before bed: ZMK, 1-carboxy, Gut Health

Dietary Totals:
3159cals
251 protein
379 carbs (big kisses for AP)
71 fat
10:50 - 1tbsp fish oil

Today's Lift: Back/Tris
Warmup - 5 minutes bike

Assisted Pullups: 10(+55lb), 8(+40lb), 8(+25lb), 6(+0lb), 4(+0lb), 8(+55lb)
super-setted with
Dips: 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10

Deadlift: 45x10, 95x10, 135x8, 185x5, 225x5, 225x5, 135x8

Low Row: 90x10, 140x10, 180x8, 230x6, 90x10

Skull Crushers: 40x10, 50x10, 60x10, 60x10, 60x10, 40x10
super-setted with
Close Grip Bench Press: 40x10, 50x10, 60x10, 60x10, 60x10, 40x10

Narrative: I don't think 2 caps was enough. Stoopid cinnamon rolls ruined an all around good day diet wise. F*ckers brought me over 3000 calories. I'll show them, nothing like a little extra fiber to keep things moving. :)

Judging by the diet tracker I'm at 57g of fiber on the day. Yeah, I don't have problems in the bathroom. Mostly unsaturated fats, which is normal with eating mostly fish oil and walnuts for my fats.

So yeah, that is a typical dietary day for SilentBob. Sometimes bananas replace apples and sometimes I have milk more often in the day. If I do have a carb heavier meal mid-day I will pop another Anabolic Pump, but I primarily use those for breakfast (normally preworkout) and dinner.

As far as the lift is concerned I've removed the High Row machine and replaced it with Chinups. I believe the motion is similar and works the same muscle groups. I'd much rather lift my entire core than simply lift some weights off the floor. I did get more unassisted pullups this week, last week I only got 6, this week I did a set of 6 and a set of 4. Next week I'll try for a set of 8.

Tomorrow is an off day, which means probably some ab work, and then legs on Monday.

Day 2: 6-29-08: Off Day
8:40 Wake up
8:45 AP + 3 Adrenalean
9:15 2 cups skim milk, 1 cup oats, 1.5 scoop AllTheWhey, MVP, Incarnate
12:30 1 can tuna, 3 cups spinach, 1 apple, Noxidant
3:00 2 Adrenalean
3:30 1 can tuna, 1 apple, MVP
5:30 1/3 Zero Impact bar
6:30 3 ATJ Protein Recovery Balls
7:30 2 hamburgers, no bun
9:30 1/2 cup walnuts, xtend (4 scoops, 16oz water), Incarnate

Tonight before bed: Gut Health, ZMK

Macros:
2577 calories
214 protein
194 carbs
105 fat

Narrative: I think I can comment on craving control right now. I was tallying up my macros for the evening when I realized that they were only just above 2100! Being angry at myself but not panicing, I went downstairs and got a half cup of walnuts and some xtend to sip on. I've been snacking since 9:30 and working my way up to 2500 :)

44 grams of fiber today. 68% unsaturated fats on the day.

I was really low on the carbs (for me) but I don't really feel low on energy; maybe that's because of the Adrenalean?

Heck yeah man, if I get home or am at a spot where I want a healthy snack I'll pop a few balls in my mouth and think to myself "What jokes could I make about this that haven't already been said?"

I was honestly just about to drop you a line to see how things were doing and tell you that your balls are a life saver when I know it's going to be about an hour or so before my next meal.

Day 3: 6-30-08
3.5 Scoops ATW
6 cups skim milk
2 cups oats
100g WMS
2 cans tuna
1 apple
1/3 zero impact bar
1/4 cup walnuts
4 egg whites
2 whole eggs

Dietary Totals:
2995 calories
262 protein
328 carbs
71 fat

Today's Lift: Legs
Squats: 45x10, 95x20, 115x20, 135x15(+5), 135x15(+5), 45x20

SDLS: 45x10, 95x10, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 135x10

Walking Lunges: 40lbx20 steps, 80lbx20 steps, 80lbx20 steps

Narrative:
20 rep squats, UGH! Now I remember why I stopped doing these things. I also now know why I plan on keeping up with them for the next month. :) Nothing like a good shock to the system. I would have done more walking lunges but I ran out of time. I had to shower and hit the store before work.

I know my day looks relatively normal, but there was a block of time from 1 until around 6 where I wasn't able to eat. I dosed 2 adrenalean when I woke up at 8:30 and a 2 more at 3:30. When I realized how long it had been since I'd eaten, I still wasn't even remotely hungry. This coming from the person whose body starts sounding alarms once he goes over the 3 hour mark without food.

I am disappointed by my diet on the day...too much protein/carb powder and not enough real food, especially for a leg day. Oh well. I can't make-up for it right now. Tomorrow should be more disciplined.

Barbell shrugs: 135x10, 185x10

Bradford Press: 40x10, 60x10, 80x10, 80x10, 30x10
Narrative:
Dosed Adrenalean 2x2 today, 2 when I woke up (8:20) and 2 at 3:30. It's kinda scary how un-hungry I am on this stuff. I have to keep one eye on the clock and another eye on my food at all times.

I did eat more real foods today. That was good. I bought a new can opener at Wally World last night and it makes diving in to a can of tuna at work much easier. The one we had before, I think my teeth would have done a better job. I was low on the fats again today. I'll probably do another tbsp of fish oil before bed just to get my fats to 20%

Tomorrow is an off day for lifting. What do ya'll feel that I need to add to this log? I don't feel I'm getting much feedback. Yes it's only day 4, but I want this thing to be poppin' fresh.

Day 5: 7-2-08: Off Day
2 apples
3 cups spinach
4 egg whites
2 whole eggs
1 cup oats
1 tbsp psyllium
3 tbsp natty pb
2 cans tuna
1.5 scoops ATW
4 teaspoons fish oil
2 slices wheat bread
4 cups skim milk
1/4 cup walnuts

Dietary Totals:
2407 calories
197 protein
218 carbs
83 fats

Narrative:
Again, the carbs are low (for me) on my off days. I felt good all day though. Adrenalean isn't something I "feel" in the way that you feel a stimulant. It's more of a low, constant, uplifting feeling that stays with you for hours and slowly glides down when it's time for the second dose.

I like not being "wound up," and also I like feeling good even if I only got 7 hours of sleep or didn't eat 300+ carbs in a day.

I have today listed as an off day, but I have been doing some light ab work at the house. Nothing worth really logging. I don't care about the aesthetics of abs (bf% is too high for the time being anyway), simply the counter-balance to building my lower back.

Narrative:
Yeah yeah, lots of bars and crap today. Didn't make it to the grocery store and was stuck at work all morning. On the bright side, I had a great lift.

Those cable cross-overs don't mess around. I started them last week and I must say, they're intense. The Adrenalean was dosed 2 upon rising and then 2 at around 1:30. I felt great all day until after my lift. I nodded off for a few minutes while watching the news. I think it had worn off at that point. :)

Tomorrow is the 4th, and it's also back day. Stay tuned!

I recycled two full boxes of empty liquor bottles and put two full boxes of practically full bottles in the pantry for a rainy day. I'm not gonna say I used to drink a lot...but I may have had a few.

Narrative:
Adrenalean kept me from falling out today. I had to be to work by 7:30 instead of the normal 8:30 which really threw off my morning routine. At least I remembered my tuna! I was dead tired about an hour before leaving work but I took my adrenalean + AP and went to town on some pre-workout carbs (new whole fruit+granola bars 'Red Lightning') It definately brought me out of my a$$-dragging state and gave me the energy/focus to lift.

I feel that I should take the time to reiterate the "energy" effects from Adrenalean. It's what I call 'clean.' You're not dead-to-the-world tired and you're bouncing off the walls. You're elevated but still within regular limits. It's a feeling that I like. Recreate and AMP (original formula, black bottle) had a similar 'clean' feeling. These are the kinds of stimulants that I like. You have energy, but you're not out of control. I guess it's a blending of both energy and euphoria

Hunger control wasn't a factor today. Due to my odd schedule and wanting to eat approx. one hour before lifting, I was eating every two hours at work this morning. Tiny meals for the win!

The way it loads carbs into your muscles preworkout is phenominal. I can be doing legs and my arms look like I've been cranking out curls. I'm not a believer in N.O. products and creatine isn't my thing either. My fuel level is all the way to full when I dose AP before my workout. I can tell if I didn't take AP preworkout, or worse if I didn't eat preworkout.

Another benefit of the AP that I really like is damage control. If I did nothing but my diet 24-7, my parents would hate me. AP allows me to eat those evening carbs without worrying about them being stored as fat. Of course, I also usually chase my dinners with a tablespoon of psyllium, just to help move things along.

Trauma, thanks for following along, glad you like the videos and hot chicks.

Yeah def. keep it up. Your diet and training makes it easier to follow along vs. strict product reviews only.

Dietary Totals:
2775 calories
209 protein
172 carbs (33g fiber)
139 fats (42g poly, 49g mono)

Narrative:
I had a great fat day for an off day. Probably a little high in fats, but it was low in carbs too, so it's alright in my eyes. Not to mention that 28% of my fats were saturated.

I got a 60 minute swedish massage this afternoon which felt incredible. Now I'm looking foward to tearing myself up tomorrow on chest day. Nothing to really comment on regarding Adrenalean today. I ate when I needed to. I got more than enough sleep last night. I didn't exert myself much today either. Just enjoying a day off.

I'm trying to keep the 'hot chicks' as classy as possible. It's easy enough to find half naked pictures of these beautiful women. I'm trying to show their classic beauty, not just how good their bodies look wearing next to nothing.

Bob, aren't you concerned about the mercury content you're taking in from all that tuna in your diet? Just curious if that's something you've thought about. Be careful bro.

Also, I agree with the natural beauty pics...keep it up!

Narrative:
I had a strong back day today. As noted. I actually did closer to what is proper form for my SLDLs. It makes them much harder, but at the same time, when I start going heavier, form is crucial. Need to learn it now while the weight is still low.

I think next week I'm gonna strap-on (hehehe) the weight belt and try out weighted dips for a few sets. See if I can really tear in to my triceps early in my lift.

Nothing wrong with a little cheat...doesn't look bad at all.

Now, eating TWO boxes of kashi go lean crunch in under 30 minutes...thats a cheat. (With a gallon of milk too).

Nope. But I suppose I could do one of those heavy metal detoxes/chelations in a few months if I feel it prudent.

Some site said to keep tuna intake to under 3 cans a week. :toofunny:

Well CT, not being one to completely disregard an opinion, I've come to the conclusion that I'll start including NAC into my regular supp regime. As well as being great for the liver, apparently it's one of the primary supps for mercury detox. Win/Win. Thanks CT.
