I was lucky enough and was selected to log Sleep by Mr. Muscle. I will get the label up tomorrow for you.

I am going to post daily workouts and notes from the night's sleep, when I use it. I will not use it every night, probably 3 or 4 times per week, only because it does contain melatonin and I do not think it is wise for one to use that nightly.

Training

I follow a 5/3/1, PPL Hyprid routine.

Sunday - Push Heavy
Monday - Pull Heavy
Tuesday - Lower Hypertrophy
Wednesday - Off
Thursday - Push Hypertrophy
Friday - Pull Hypertrophy
Saturday - Lower Heavy

Diet

I carb cycle. I have two high days, two moderate days and three low days. I will post my daily diet so you can see macro breakdown and calorie breakdown. In addition, if I do not gain weight in a particular week, I increase each day by 25 cals, but adding 6 grams of carbs to each day.

Other Supplements

Orange Triad
Zinc
Magnesium
NOW Vitamin D 5,000 IU
NOW Vitamin C 1,000
IntraMax
Various Pre workouts, only stims 3 days per week and non stim 3 days. Depending on how heavy my heavy days are, I will consume a product higher in stims

I went in the gym today not knowing if I would be able to squat. Surprisingly, my back felt pretty good. tight here and there, but no pain. I did not take any of the sets to failure though, I did not want to lean forward or compromise my back at all.

I got rid of the leg press and I will from now on. I noticed this last week, since I've been off cycle, the compound movements on these heavy days suffer quite a bit.

I am going to see what happens between now and Monday with the back. I may do light deadlifts, may do my routine, but focus on form, skip them, or do rack pulls.

Last night was my first dose. After 30 minutes or so, I started to feel pretty calm. I was able to sleep very well. I know I am in a deep sleep when I have crazy, vivid dreams which I did last night. When I woke up to use the bathroom, I was able to go back to sleep without any issues. I may download a sleep tracking app on my phone to aid with the log.

Weight - 170.4

Weight is up .2 pounds this week.

Awesome session. I am surprised I was able to hit the numbers I did on everything. On bench, I was aiming for 95% of my 1 rep max which would have been 237.5, so I went up to 240 for 2/3 singles. Because I did so much bench and OHP, I thought my other lifts were going to suffer, but that was not the case. Everything improved from last week.

One change I am making to training this week, just to bring down the volume a little more. usually on my hypertrophy days, my first exercise is 5x12, 6x10, 7x8, and 8x6. I am going to go with 3x12, 4x10, 5x8, and 6x6. On the three set week and the six set week, I am going to do a rest pause to get 40 reps. I am making this change because recovery is a little slower being deeper into PCT.

I am pumped that I am into my second week of PCT and have only lost 2 pounds. Not only that, but strength is still going up. Albeit very slowly. If I can maintain my strength through PCT, I'll be very happy.

I think I am going to deadlift tomorrow. The back is feeling almost completely solid.

I got through my working sets with no discomfort. I did my first working set and second working set. Some discomfort, but no pain if that makes sense. It just felt like the area was inflammed from being worked. I did the 1+ set. After that, I wanted to hit at lease 1/3 singles at 95% of my 1 rep max. I got one set in and still no pain, just slight discomfort. I decided to stop there though. I am happy I made it that far.

Now, that spot in my back feel alright. Not as good as this morning, but I still have full range or motion and do not need to hold onto anything or brace myself when I bend over. Depending on how it feels next week, I may stick with the program and do my 3 set week. It is a lighter week, so that actually works in my favor. We will see. I do have some BPC-157 that should be in Wednesday.

I also got rid of the overhand cable rows and replaced them with bent over barbell rows.

How is taste and mixability?
Perfect on both. The pineapple is a little more dominant than the peach, but it is very good.

IS the rest increasing your ability to work out more?
Hard to tell. I have purposely reduced training volume because I am in PCT. I do fell well rested though. Also, I have mid terms this week so grading is taking up a lot of my time while also preparing for the next quarter.

Good workout today. My work up sets and everything felt good and was moving quick. I stopped at 2 reps on the 1+ set, but I felt like I could have gotten 1, maybe 2 more reps.

I hit 355 for a single, which was a little shaky. When I unracked it, it felt super heavy for some reason. I then decided to go down to 350 for my last two singles. 95% of my 1 rep max, which is what I hit on this heavy variation week, is 351 pounds, so going to 355 was big. I actually just watched my video I posted in here hitting 350 for a single a while back and I think it moved just as well today which is great since I just started week 3 of PCT.

The lying hamstring curl machine was out of service, so I did glute ham raises.

My back has been feeling good. I felt it a little during squatting today, but once I finished my workout, I didn't feel the discomfort. I think I am in the final 10% or so of the injury course. I have been doinsg BPC 157 250 mcg twice daily.

I dosed last night for the first time in a few nights. Again, very good sleep. I actually slept a little longer than I normally do on Saturdays. I felt well rested as well. I actually took a heavy hitting pre workout, because of my training session today, and I felt like I was over stimmed which does not happen often. I felt like I didn't need that much. I have also used as little as 100 mg of caffeine pre workout after a night of using this and felt as though I did not even need that. I am going stim free more than I normally do as well.

Nice workouts so far. Seems like your getting a lot done. How do you find the mornings? Well rested
Pretty well rested. For what its worth, I've had more energy later in the day, which is also a good thing.

Loving this so far. Sleep and dreams are great. I do feel a little groggy upon waking up, but it goes away pretty quickly. I have been waking up less during the night as well. The calming/sedation effect is very noticeable. I do not get much in terms of it helping me fall asleep, but that is not an issue for me.

If that's the case, give this a go. I wake up twice a night, sometime three, but get back to sleep right away.

Final Review

I have used this for just about 3 weeks now, I can properly rate and review it.

Falling Asleep

The product does not make me tired or make me drowsy. That is fine for me. I have no issues getting asleep. My main concern is deeper sleep and getting back to sleep when I wake up at night. However, I do notice I feel more calm and peaceful about 30-45 minutes post dose. Also, I do go back to sleep very quickly when I wake up at night.

Sleep Quality

Excellent. I have gotten the same amount of sleep with the product as I would without it. I feel more rested the nights I have used the product. I know I am in a deep sleep too because whenever I am in a deep sleep, I have very odd and crazy dreams. I have had dreams of people and things I did not see or do the day of or prior. I have also had some scary dreams, which I stay asleep during where I would normally wake up.

The Powder

It tastes and mixes perfect, no problems there.

Overall

I would highly suggest his for people that would like a sleep aid, not used nightly though, and would like a deeper sleep or have issues with deep sleep. If you are looking for a product to get to sleep initially, I would look else where. I would not use it every night because of melatonin. I dosed nights before I was going to have a heavy training session. My quality or sleep is great the night and I wake up more rested. I would even say recovery from the gym is good which is due to the deep sleep. I am in PCT and have pretty much stayed with the same volume of my routine on cycle and my DOMS has increased a little, but they are not present like they should be. 9/10
