SUMMARY OF INGREDIENTS

Thiamine 1.5mg
https://examine.com/supplements/vitamin-b1/

Also Known as
  • Vitamin B1
Is a Form Of
  • Essential Vitamin
Thiamine (Vitamin B1) is an essential vitamin involved heavily in glucose production. While not a common deficiency in an otherwise healthy diet and limited benefits when taken by a healthy subject, instances of high blood glucose and/or alcoholism can increase the need for this vitamin drastically.

Vitamin B3 20mg
https://examine.com/supplements/vitamin-b3/

Also Known as
  • Niacin
Is a Form Of
  • Essential Vitamin or
  • Mineral
Goes well with
Aspirin or Laropiprant.
(both reduce flushing
from niacin, but do not
appear addictive)

Things to note
Niacin supplements are known to cause the 'Niacin flush', a medically benign warm/flushing sensation usually in the face (differing from beta-alanine tingles); nicotinamide supplements do not have this effect

Niacin is an essential B-vitamin. Supplementation results in improved cholesterol and triglyceride levels. However, since a side-effect of supplementation is increased insulin resistance, niacin supplementation only provides benefits for cardiovascular health if precautions are taken.

Summary
All Essential Benefits/Effects/Facts & Information
Vitamin B3 refers to the molecule commonly called nicotinic acid, or niacin, though it may also refer to the other vitamin B3 vitamer, called nicotinamide. Vitamin B3 is necessary to support the function of many enzymes.

Niacin supplementation is very effective at normalizing blood lipid levels. People with low HDL-C levels supplementation experience an increase in HDL-C levels, while people with high LDL-C experience a reduction in LDL-C levels. Triglyceride levels also fall after supplementation, which makes niacin look like a great cardioprotective supplement on paper. Unfortunately, niacin supplementation does not result in reduced cardiovascular disease risk, since it also increases insulin resistance, which negates the benefits niacin provides for blood lipid levels.

Other benefits of niacin supplementation are theorized to extend to growth, cognition, and longevity. This is because niacin supplementation increases cellular nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) levels. Preliminary evidence suggests increased NAD+ levels may result in the above benefits, but much more research is needed to determine if this effect actually occurs. Topical application of nicotinamide is sometimes used for skin health, though it is not as effective as vitamin A. Nicotinamide is used for topical application because it does not result in the flushed skin that niacin supplementation can cause.

Current evidence suggests prolonged niacin supplementation increases insulin resistance because it hinders the ability of insulin to suppress glucose synthesis in the liver. This causes an increase in blood glucose levels, which leads to lowered insulin sensitivity over time, since the relevant receptor is eventually desensitized to the elevated glucose levels in the blood.

The flush caused by niacin supplementation is a temporary effect. Though it may be uncomfortable, it is not harmful. There are many case studies describing people overdosing on niacin in an effort to pass a urine test. Niacin overdose results in multiple organ failure and is not effective at masking a urine test.
Folic Acid 200mcg
https://examine.com/supplements/folic-acid/

Is a Form of
  • Essential Vitamin or
  • Mineral
Also Known As
  • Folate, Vitamin B9
  • Pteroyl L-glutamic acid
Folic acid, the synthetic form of folate, is an essential B-vitamin most well known for its role in preventing neural tube defects in infants. It also has a role in supporting general health but may be detrimental in high amounts.

Summary
All Essential Benefits/Effects/Facts & Information

Folate is the essential vitamin sometimes referred to as Vitamin B9, but more commonly known by its synthetic supplemental form 'folic acid'. Found in low levels across most food products of plant origin and found in enhanced levels in some nation's wheat grain due to fortification, folic acid is a vitamin that has essential roles in the growth of neonates as well as in supporting a process known as methylation in adults.

Folic acid is primarily known as being the 'pregnancy supplement' where women who are planning to conceive children take 400 μg folic acid daily. This is critical in preventing something known as 'neural tube defects' (NTDs) which are caused by insufficient folate provision to the fetus when their neural tube is being formed and the combination of food fortification and supplementation has greatly prevented.

Beyond that, folate and folic acid are used to support methylation in the body. These two supplements, due to eventually forming a molecule known as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF or L-methylfolate) are involved in indirectly supporting and creating S-Adenosyl Methionine (SAMe) in the body. Due to this, these supplements tend to show quite a bit of similarity to SAMe supplementation and some parallel to supplements involved in the alternate pathway which support SAMe levels (of which supplements like creatine and trimethylglycine (TMG) are implicated in). These parallels are best demonstrated in their effects on depression where they all seem to be implicated in supporting serotonin-based medication (SSRIs usually) as adjuvant with a trend to benefit women more than men.

Despite these benefits, folic acid is unlike other B-vitamins where it does appear to have a potential side-effect when taken in high doses. While taking a very large dose of folic acid several thousand times the RDA will not cause immediate harm it appears that prolonged exposure to levels up to 250% the RDA may be associated with a relative increase in the rates of cancer, particularly colon cancer among the elderly; well demonstrated by acute increases in the rates of colon cancer when both Canada and the US introduced fortification (the rates, of which, have been declining beforehand and ever since). Among the B-vitamins, folate seems to be the one where a balance should be strived in your everyday life and high sources of supplemental folate should be avoided if not intended for other purposes.

Finally, supplements tend to be in one of three forms; folate, folic acid, and L-methylfolate. Of these supplements folic acid is the most common but is thought to be negative when overconsumed. L-methylfolate seems the most promising as many people seem to have genetic mutations in the enzyme which produces L-methylfolate from folate and folic acid, so supplementing the latter two only causes a partial backlog in these people whereas supplementing L-methylfolate may circumvent this genetically disadvantageous rate-limiting step. Furthermore, L-methylfolate seems to be the most promising agent to support SAMe levels as SAMe, as a supplement, is quite expensive and this pathway tends to take on more of the workload than the one creatine and TMG are implicated in.

Vitamin B12 200mcg
https://examine.com/supplements/vitamin-b12/

Also Known As
  • Cyanocobalamin
  • cobalamin
  • methylcobalamin
  • 5-deoxyadenosylcobalamin
  • adenosylcobalamin
  • cobamamide
  • dibencozide
  • hydroxocobalamin
Is a Form Of
  • Essential Vitamin or
  • Mineral
  • Nootropic
Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) is a water-soluble essential vitamin that is known to play roles in neurology.

Vitamin B5 5mg
https://examine.com/supplements/vitamin-b5/

Also Known As
  • Pantothenic acid
  • Panthenol
  • Pantothenate
  • Dexpanthenol
  • Pantothenylalcohol
Is a Form Of
  • Essential Vitamin
Pantothenic acid is one of the B-vitamins which is critical in the formation of Co-enzyme A, a molecule which helps a large amount of enzymes function in the body, and for energy production in general. While it is important, it is rare to be deficient and further supplementation shows little promise.

CDP-choline 300mg
https://examine.com/supplements/cdp-choline/

Also Known As
  • Citicholine
  • Cytidine Diphosphocholine
Is a Form Of
  • Nootropic
CDP-choline (citicholine) is a nootropic compound that converts to both choline and cytidine upon ingestion, the latter of which converts into uridine in the body. It appears to confer cognitive-promoting properties as a prodrug for these two compounds.

Summary
All Essential Benefits/Effects/Facts & Information
CDP-choline is a nootropic compound that is essentially a prodrug for both choline and uridine, conferring both of those molecules to the body following oral ingestion of CDP-Choline. Specifically, the CDP-choline dissociates into choline and cytidine, with the cytidine then converting into uridine. CDP-choline is one of the three choline-containing phospholipids that can be orally supplemented (the other two being Alpha-GPC and phosphatidylcholine).

This supplement is catered towards preventing or treating memory impairments associated with aging due to the fact that both of the molecules it confers are neuroprotective and potentially enhance learning. While it appears to be more effective than phosphatidylcholine (PC) at this role, in part due to also increasing PC synthesis in the brain, its potency is somewhat comparable to that of Alpha-GPC.

CDP-choline has some other potential uses in relation to cognition. It is commonly used as a memory enhancer in youth, but despite some rodent studies suggesting that this is possible with oral CDP-choline, there are no human studies in youth at this point in time. One study has noted an increase in attention with low dose CDP-choline (which needs to be replicated), and CDP-choline may have roles as an anti-addictive compound against both cocaine and (preliminary evidence suggests) food as well.
Piracetam 750mg
https://examine.com/supplements/piracetam/

Piracetam is the parent compound of the racetam class of nootropic supplements. When supplemented, it provides a mild boost to brain function.

Also Known As
  • Pyracetam
  • Pyrrolidone acetamide
  • 2-Oxo-1-pyrrolidine
  • Memotopril
  • Fezam (with cinnarizine)
  • UCB6215
Is a Form Of
  • Racetam
  • Nootropic
Editors' Thoughts on Piracetam
In regards to the mechanisms of Piracetam, I am personally leaning more towards Piracetam being an agent that can preserve mitochondrial membrane potential.

This sort of downplays it from a cognitive enhancer to a cognitive preserver. It does interact with mechanisms that can induce cognitive enhancement in otherwise healthy persons (AMPA modulation and Calcium Channel inhibition) but these effects, at best, are weak. Other racetams are more likely to be cognitive enhancers (For AMPA modulation and Calcium channel 2.2 inhibition respectively; this would be Aniracetam and Leviracetam) If it does enhance cognition significantly, it is possible that this is just from reversing small states of cognitive deficit.

That being said, it is a non-discriminate membrane fluidity preservative. This may also underlie how Piracetam is as effective as Aspirin at preventing blood clotting in older persons when taken as daily preventative medicine.

I believe Piracetam is not so much a Cognitive enhancer as it is a minor Longevity-enhancing agent; delaying age-related pathology in a non-specific and relatively weak manner. It is surprisingly non-toxic, so it might be a good health preserving agent if you have excess money to burn.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine 500mg
https://examine.com/supplements/l-carnitine/

Also Known As
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine
  • ALCAR
  • Acetylcarnitine
  • L-Carnitine
  • L-Carnitine-L-Tartrate
  • LCLT
  • Glycine Propionyl-L-Carnitine
  • GPLC
  • Levocarnitine
  • Levacecarnine
  • L-3-hydroxytrimethylamminobutanoate
Is a Form Of
  • Nootropic
  • Pseudovitamin
L-Carnitine is involved in energy metabolism and mitochondrial protection. It is made in the body, but can also be consumed through food. Supplementation of L-carnitine does not burn fat unless the individual is deficient in L-carnitine.

Summary
All Essential Benefits/Effects/Facts & Information
L-Carnitine and the related compound Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) are compounds able to alleviate the effects of aging and disease on mitochondria, while increasing the mitochondria’s potential to burn fat.

ALCAR is often used as a brain booster, due to its ability to increase alertness and mitochondrial capacity while providing support for the neurons.
ALCAR has been shown to be very effective at alleviating the side effects of aging, like neurological decline and chronic fatigue. ALCAR supplementation is also a very safe method of improving insulin sensitivity and blood vessel health, particularly for people with delicate or weakened cardiac health. ALCAR can also protect neurons and repair certain damage, such as that caused by diabetes and diabetic neuropathy.

Theoretically, ALCAR supplementation for fat burning should work well, but studies on ALCAR in isolation do not show very good results. Fat loss is typically attributed to the increased activity done by people, from the increased energy they have from ALCAR supplementation.

Huperzine-A
https://examine.com/supplements/huperzine-a/

Also Known As
  • (1R, 9S, 13E)-1-amino-13-ethylidene-11-methyl-6-azatricyclo- 7.3.1.0 2
  • 7 trideca-2(7), 3, 10-trien-5-on, Qian Ceng Ta (Huperzia Serrata)
Is a Form Of
  • Nootropic
Huperzine-A is a cognitive enhancer that inhibits an enzyme that degrades the learning neurotransmitter, acetylcholine; due to this, a relative increase occurs. It belongs to the cholinergics class of molecules, and may be useful in fighting cognitive decline in the elderly. May need to be cycled.

Summary
All Essential Benefits/Effects/Facts & Information

Huperzine-A is a compound extracted from the herbs of the Huperziceae family. It is known as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, which means that it stops an enzyme from breaking down acetylcholine which results in increases in acetylcholine.
Acetylcholine is known as the learning neurotransmitter, and is involved in muscle contraction as well. Increasing levels of acetylcholine is routinely used as a technique amongst weight-lifters and scholars. Huperzine-A appears to be a relatively safe compound from animal studies of toxicity and studies in humans showing no side-effects at dosages routinely supplemented with. Huperzine-A is in preliminary trials for usage in fighting Alzheimer's Disease as well.

L-Theanine 50mg
https://examine.com/supplements/theanine/

Also Known as
  • L-Theanine
  • 5-N-Ethyl-Glutamine
Is a Form Of
  • Nootropic
  • Stress Relief
  • Amino Acid Supplement
Goes well with
  • Caffeine
L-Theanine is a relaxing and nondietary amino acid found pretty much exclusively in teas from Camellia sinensis (alongside green tea catechins and caffeine) and is known to promote relaxation without sedation. It appears to be effective at this as well as reducing stress at standard dosages.

Summary
All Essential Benefits/Effects/Facts & Information

L-Theanine is an amino acid that is not common in the diet (not one of the essential amino acids or even one of the common nonessential amino acids), and is deemed a nondietary amino acid similar to L-Ornithine or L-Citrulline. L-Theanine has structural similarity to glutamine and both neurotransmitters that are produced from it (GABA and glutamate) and is known to reach the brain and act in the brain following oral ingestion.

The properties of L-theanine can be summed up as being a relaxing agent without sedation (relative to something like lemon balm which relaxes but may also sedate), and is also implicated in reducing the perception of stress and slightly improving attention. While L-theanine does not appear to induce sleep, it may (quite weakly) help with sleep although its potency suggests it may not be a good first line treatment for this.

Interestingly, the relaxing and attention promoting properties of L-theanine coupled with the lack of sedation may L-Theanine have its most significant supplemental role in attenuating the 'edge' of many stimulants. A combination of L-Theanine with caffeine (200mg each) is noted to be synergistic in promoting cognition and attention.

L-Theanine, for the most part, is a relaxing but not sedating amino acid that is synergistic with stimulants such as caffeine as it can 'take the edge off'. It is effective by itself in the standard supplemental dosages as well, and although it can be attained via a diet high in green tea ingestion that is the only dietary source of L-Theanine
There are some health benefits associated with green and black tea ingestion that are thought to be more reflective of the Theanine content rather than the green tea catechins or the theaflavins, and this is thought to be related to cardiovascular health (as L-Theanine positively regulates nitric oxide) and some cognitive benefits.

Great respect for the company and design aesthetic, let's see what this will do...
My log will officially begin tomorrow morning.

Final Review will be placed here when the log has been completed.

Thanks to BPS lukehayd for permitting this trial and log of Compel.

Waiting for Compel to arrive, this is the placeholder for the future log.
Like the man said, reserve your seat, keep a watch for an update. This will be my first nootropic log, and I plan on possibly doing more logs like this either sponsored or non-sponsored. As one ages, I believe nootropics help us in more ways than 'answer response times'. It's an exciting time in this industry, and for my aging ass.

When I start the log I will probably be notating with various aspects of the experience.
Cognition; Work done; Puzzle solving ability, and I will attempt to create a baseline for some of them prior to initial dosing, and then progress as time and dosing continues. Initial dose, test, then see if there is a cumulative effect.

The first week I will probably be logging daily, and then 3 times per week, and after the third week, I will continue to dose and then wait until the end of the fourth week to test again. This might provide a better differentiation to help determine how successful the log was in demonstrating the effects of the supplement.

Have you considered having some familiarization phase for these tests? Many of these tests are things where performance will improve with repeated testing, meaning that scores will likely be higher in subsequent tests as you become more familiar with the test, how it works, and potential strategies for it. By taking the time to familiarize yourself with the test, you can find a more accurate baseline where improvements in the future would be more indicative of some actual improvements in some aspect of cognitive function than simply increased familiarization with the tests themselves. This is something that I often see neglected when people take various cognitive tests.

Yes sir. I was going to have a mixture of familiar tests and new to have both at hand. Thank you for the suggestion!

Updated Post #2.
Official Start for this Log is tomorrow morning!

Let's put up a baseline outcome I am hoping will improve,
also am subscribing to a daily test that is new.

Although this might be adjusted for timeliness or a better source
for testing. I think I have this covered. Let's hope I get smarter...

game dots.png

This is a familiar game, which has two methods to it's outcome.
One is timed and the other limited moves to 30.

I've put up a score of 495 in 60 seconds which is fairly high for me, and my high score is about 520.
Let's see if I can improve on this score consistently, and in other areas tested.

My first test tonight to set some kind of standard. I will take one test per evening for a week, and then take one test per 3 days for the next two weeks, andfor the final week, no tests until the last day to see if there is a cumulative difference.

If anyone is interested in doing something similar, I think it's fascinating, and receive an invitation to complete a daily test from Cambridge Brain Sciences.

Cambridge has the IQ Challenge that's a few tests per day, and gives you a C-Score, and tells you your percentile, and further gives you your percentile in a few sub-categories. I've been using it lately, it's actually pretty fun. It does seem that practice and familiarization with the tests leads to improved scores though.

Took one cap this morning with my coffee, and had no immediate feelings.
10 minutes.
20 minutes.
30 minutes.

I think I may have been trying to notice anything, and had not.
It might be odd, but I had a specific feeling of feeling more, and by that I mean, the coolness of my skin.

This could all be applied to placebo of course.
My morning went quite well at work, and it was an extremely long day, but I did feel mentally on top of everything.
Normally, I get a little tired (mentally) by 4:30p and today I wasn't.

I think tomorrow I will dose again in the morning, and then again, just at the end of my work day, so by the time I get home I will then see about taking some basic tests, as well play a game or two to see how I do.

That's all for today.

DAY 2.

Bounded up at 2:00a this morning.
Made the coffee. (First carafe)
Dosed 1 cap w/ 1 cup of coffee

1 Hour later
There's that feeling again. I can only describe it by saying it's an awareness of my skin and the air flowing over it.
So, this could be construed as saying I have a heightened sense of awareness and sensitivity. Perception?

2nd cup of coffee
(God, I make good coffee. It's an amazing smell.)
Could this product increase one's sense of smell? Probably never really paid attention to the smell of my coffee.
I'm considering my words, and second guessing less I think. // sarcasm, lol

Sidebar
An observation I have long made but understood less is the concept of how quiet and introspective a close friend of mine is as it relates to his true intelligence. I think there is a correlation between intelligence; inner peace; and a sense of self that is presented outwardly when one can be comfortable within themselves. They exude a solemn form of confidence that I can only describe as perfunctory. (Edit, looks up the word perfunctory... cool.)

I played 3 games of DOTS (2 timed, and one 30 moves)
Nothing really to note here that stands out. At this point I'm looking at the randomness of difficulty for each game as it's presented and to see if there is a trend towards an improvement overall. One game to the next can present a pattern that is more prone to higher scores and a larger sampling would negate this aspect, and permit a clearer reference.

dots day 2.png

You'll notice when the opponent's score is on the low end it could mean the pattern offers less opportunity to score.
.

General Observation
I'm really liking the idea of nootropics. I think this is something as important as gut health we generally dismiss as to their importance in our lives. The most common complain I hear daily with older folks is, they aren't as sharp as they used to be. Maybe we can be, or avert the declination of our cognitive abilities over time? Like bone loss, we can take positive steps.

I do drink a lot of coffee, so if there is any stimulatory effects normally associated, I could be desensitized to that effect seen by others. I do glance at other's logs but do not permit the indications presented permission to skew my own findings.

One thing I should have mentioned is, I have dyslexia, and take a moment extra to think and rethink at times. It's more prominent these days for some reason, so when I think of words, my mind races through various options of each version and then I second guess the word I am using. A good example would be using the word 'skew' in the above sentence. I think most people would just use that word, but I was thinking of "Squeue, Scew, and Skew" without any quick result. Then I had to type it... lol.

This is my daily struggle. Is this a positive response to an awareness more closely associated with an issue? I'm not sure, and time in this log could tell. It is one of the reasons for my desire to be included in testing these compounds in this supplement. I was immediately intrigued, and then as I followed along, it became more clear.

At work this causes some issues, as when I am pausing to give a thoughtful reply to a polite or not-so-polite request, some people infer this is a form of rudeness and then I'm having to explain that I am attempting to present a complete solution that would overcome potential pitfalls prior to conveying it to you. It's a rather long process at times and I've had more than one person call me a 'epithet' idiot. I'm actually one of the most experienced people in the building. (Can't say that.) You can't think for other people or give them patience or kindness in the face of something outside the wheelhouse of their comfort zone.

I just move on to the next person and try to stay positive. Humor helps! :D

Observation
I think I will space out my tests a little as I have found it doesn't make much sense to take a daily. I believe the more important cumulative effect could be better served by moving to this new testing protocol. I will post up results next time I take my tests, with results. I will see about providing some kind of graphical representation to demonstrate any change (delta) in results.

Sides
No negative side effects to note here, but worth mentioning they don't exist. Even with 2 capsules taken.

Three more scored games. I'm happy with the outcomes of those, and a protein bar I didn't quite get.. at first but this must be making me stronger because I wiggled that 600 pound machine like it just insulted my mother.

For reference, my all time high score is 530 in 60 seconds.

Great log! Just read through it.

**** vending machines that steal money. I had one that dispensed something but it was never what you hit lol

Might be kind of late for this, but are you considering any other benchmarks still?

If you have any suggestions, I'm open.
At the moment I am looking for more tests to have a more consistency to their results. Easier Access, and something I can build a graph derived from a spreadsheet.

Hmm, good question. I haven't looked into it in a while but maybe Luminosity?

Dosed 2 caps at 7:30a today

I will be:

Searching for more cognition and brain tests that can also help me build a spreadsheet demonstrating graphically, or I will manually build this to incorporate into a weekly reporting. I figured it would be a full week before anything compelling (pun) would be shown, so I think accumulating data for reporting at the end of next week, and so on would be a nice-to-have.

I did take a quick test today to see if I am left or right brained and the results are a bit conflating. I've had the pleasure of speaking with quite a few Psychologists and a few Psychiatrists in my life. It is of great interest to me, and what I find a commonality among all of our conversations is this. I am considered equally right and left brained, and after I show them and explain my art to them it is fairly solidified. Of course here is the result of a 30 second online examination. :D

Exhibit A. (Online Brain Test)

Exhibit B.

60b660_dd5edc9b934a477388e8cdda3b7618b1.png

One of my pieces of art. I created it with a photograph of a 2" piece of metal, and then built it by hand on my computer.
It's 305cm wide, and it's named "The Wings of Prometheus" I believe we need to reevaluate what is considered creative, and to what extent one can attribute or assign a side of a hemisphere in our brain to what is 'creative'.

Sidebar
I will be building a course in 'creativity' and hopefully delivering it at the local college for the arts. They seemed to think it was a good idea, and were excited at the prospect of viewing creativity from an entirely unique vantage point. A much maligned word in the arts, and most endeavors, the word 'unique' has been shunned as it has been deemed all has been created, and everything that follows is only replica. I beg to differ. Look at the creativity found in the fitness and supplement industry.

What variables should I examine more closely and report on? Any requests?
I already have a strong work ethic and level of stamina when it comes to my work day, and art. I've stretched past some milestones in my life when speaking to just a few, sleep deprivation (Stayed awake for 2 weeks and 6 days) aside form the short stay in the hospital I think it went well..., and shear volume of art created 1100 unique pieces in 3 months while working full-time.

I'm searching for anything that can increase my ability to stay focused and breach another level of creativity which has been proven to be unprovable! (lol), and the typical players in this game of cognition; memory; quick thinking, etc. I am taking this log more serious than my other logs because it involves the more ethereal, and to some ephemeral topics of our lives. I think contrary to many beliefs now, our brain has more to do with everything, than anything.

I know this because the drone of 10 plus years in retail boredom have driven me to consider, I could be doing something better with the rest of my time on this rock floating in space like a freaking grain of sand to the scale of several trillion magnitudes the size of our ocean to one. Maybe I could write for a living , so I could experiment more on the things I find more important than fixing someone's iPhone that suddenly won't send their email.

Thank you!

It depends. I can sit in front of my computer and not stop for 7-8 hours. Once the framework of what I think I am creating becomes clear or I get tired and walk away, it could take anywhere from a few days to a month, or longer. I put things aside if they aggravate me, and give them the respect due to what is being created. It may sit for a few weeks. I've created some pieces in a few hours, and they are a few of my favorites.

I developed the tools when I was slaving away as a production photographer for one of the most horrible jobs of my life. I kept them a secret, and it was mainly dealing with the lack of resolution and sensor size when producing the highest quality reproducible image. It was funny when they asked me how I was creating such great imagery with such crappy equipment. I told them it was a secret, and took that secret with me which I partially use to create my art today, and more developed tools that are unique.

That piece of art "Prometheus" has several hundred layers to it. It's massive.

Some infer, if it takes you moments to create, it should have less value:
The speed of creating has no bearing on the value of the art. If my doctor looks at me, asks a few questions then gives me a script that saves my life, do I owe him less money? It only took a second. Art is developed over a lifetime, and then it is revealed when we decide to permit it, or ask ourselves to do so.

You can see where Nootropics now have more meaning to me in all ways presented. I'm also trying to write a book, and that is probably one of the most difficult things I have had to struggle with. Losing we weight isn't so hard, but try sitting down to write your ideas on a blank page. It's not so different from creating a piece of art from virtually nothing, but then again, one needs some kind of inspiration piece to jolt the brain into action.

Dosed 1 cap this morning at 8:30a and proceeded to the honey do list, and other responsibilities (Promotion) etc., which is why I've finally sat down to discuss my thoughts for the day.

A few observations:

1. It came to mind I hadn't considered a non-negative side effect of long drawn out days where one is taxed mentally. It's mental fatigue. That feeling one gets after a continuously mentally challenging day where it seemed as through one second strung onto the next and then minutes built into hours and before you realize, you've actively thought for hours without rest.

This supplement's compounds might be attributing to an ability to rebound from mentally stressful situations. I'm more physically tired than I am mentally.

2. Physical stress causing mental stress, or maybe the lack thereof. When we are young, we can run for miles and then recover much quicker than we are younger. I can pinpoint . (Sorry, momentarily interrupted.) You know when people interrupt your train of thought and it either angers or it doesn't? I have noticed a rise in discomfort when thoughts are streaming, but can easily and calmly express, I'm sorry, I'd love to get these ideas down, can I have a moment?. When we are young we recuperate much faster from mental and physical stress and both are connected. When we age, we do not heal or recuperate as fast, and when mentally we can recover, the physical is soon to follow, or matters less. This is what I am finding.

3. There really isn't a three except to say, my sense of humor hasn't left me for the sake of science... well as close to science as I can get without being in a controlled environment with a placebo group. Knowing the ingredients might be a pitfall of a sort or not, I cannot determine it. I will do my best to be true to this log and not introduce other forms of supplements or stimulants, other than my daily coffee which has been a constant.

I have experienced no ill effects except on one day where I did not permit myself enough sleep for the day and I crashed hard about 3:00p which was about the 12'th hour of my being awake.

Tomorrow I will start dosing at 3 caps in the morning.

I dosed 3 caps for the first time today, and honestly didn't feel anything different from 1 or 2 caps.
Later in the day I had noticed a bit of a crash, and at this point would attribute this to a lack of consistent sleep the past few days, and cannot apply that to the dose. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I figured as much. My average amount of sleep is 5-7 hours, but lately I've been bouncing up at 2am as usual but with less sleep. I'm used to getting up early, but getting to bed earlier as well. Sometimes (7:30-9:00p - up at 2-3a)
