Hello all!

I figured I would document some of my experience with Performax MaxMass XT as seen here






I am in a bulk cycle right now where I am eating a bit more than usual.

I am not familiar at all with the ingredients in this product except epicatechin, I have taken that on its own and seen some results.

Starting Stats
32yrs old male
5'8"
167.8 lbs @ 12.7% BF according to the omron sensor,

I train 4-5x a week mostly crossfit, but at least 2 classes of barbell.

In the past I have always gained some weight, but its mostly been fat. I have trouble getting above 142lbs lean body mass..

I have considered getting my T levels checked as I can not grow facial hair at all, and don't seem to be putting on muscle like other people doing the same workouts.

Hopefully this product will help me put on some quality mass!


First Impressions

I am currently on day 15 of 2 caps in the morning with about 45 grams of protein and then 2 caps post workout with my dinner and around 50+ grams of protein. I am unsure if there are any better times like pre-workout or not, I am just going off the label..

I can tell you my weight is up!
I can also say my strength is up as well. My *PRs* at the box are all going up!!
I am noticing the hunger pains the most when I wake up. I feel like I could eat the whole fridge lol.

Awesome, great start and it sounds like your noticing everything you should be noticing, increased weight gain, increased strength gains and increased appetite! Looking forward to the next 2 weeks as well! Are you running it for 4 or 8 weeks?

Not super clean, but high protein. Usually close to 200gr a day, I will start tracking better.

Yeah I hope it works well. I stuffed myself at dinner around 6:30 and I am getting hungry again. Haha

Yea the effects on appetite are insane, pair that with increased protein synthesis and nitrogen retention and you can add some quality LBM!

That is a lot of protein. I always start to struggle past 250. What is an example of your meals?

Yeah that was dumb... I been taking shakes 3x a day. This was an unusual day though..

Yesterday was a rest day so will today.. Tomorrow will hit it hard bright and early. 8:30 Barbell Class then 9:30 Team workouts. Always a killer.

RX = 115lbs== 12:14==4th male\

Barbell

Honestly Feeling wrecked from crossfit, should have just went home.

A: Muscle Snatch (40-50/2 x 4 sets)==95lbs
B: Snatch Pull to Knee + Snatch (50/3, 60/3, 70/3, 80/2 x 3 sets) 115lbs for practice
C: Front Squat (4 sets x 8 reps @ 80%)==195lbs and on the last set went all out for 10 reps. DESTROYED

Crossfit can't be that draining :p

I'd probably pass out after the first two exercises lol

Yeah it takes some time before a person is ready to "double up". I like saturday's because I can do barbell class first then a crossfit class. Crossfit first is rough..

That being said, I think I am burning too many calories.. I took in 2800+ yesterday and weighed myself this morning. 168.8lbs @ 13.2% BF....LBM= 146.5lbs which is the exact same LBM which technically means i put on 100% fat...

I am getting slightly frustrated at this point. I am taking in ridiculous amounts of protein and not feeling like I am getting anywhere. However my lifts are getting stronger so that is a good thing. I really thought 2800 calories would be enough but maybe not?

Maaaaaaan, I HATE the airdyne bike with a passion. The last time I rode one of those things I felt like I was on another planet after I finished. We pushed it for 8 rounds at some ridiculous clip followed by a 1 min rest each time, I borderline passed out at the end, lol.

The increased hunger has calmed down seemingly..
I am seeing some muscle fullness but not much.

I think it's due to the workouts.. I haven't been able to get in as much static lifting as I hoped.

My luck also is my shoulder started acting up, and now I have a pretty nasty head cold.. fml

haha yeah, I told the gym owner I was going to take all his bikes to the scrap yard..

Sucks you got a cold during your run. I hate when that happens. I have been sicker than ever before this year. Going on almost 3 months with lingering symptoms.

Thanks. Went about 2 weeks and now I am congested again. This weather must be killing us in PA. 70 degrees one day and the high was 35 the next. I am getting close to the end of my second bottle. The hunger effect is not really noticeable.




Puts my lean body mass at 147. If these numbers are true than the LBM went up 3lbs!! I would say thats a good thing!

Just ate 3 slices of Little Ceasers Smokehouse Pizza, and holy crap my life has changed! This pizza is simply amazing! I suggest all of you get out and try it. The meat on it is unreal! Really good BBQ for a pizza joint! I can see bulking up real fast with this lol.

Side note: came in at 167.7lbs.. DAMMIT!

I saw the commercial and had to change my pants. Then I thought I will have it tomorrow no matter the cost. I need to have it. And I made it happen.

Epicatechin is just a piece of the overall formula. The HPLC tested whole plant Rhaponticum Carthamoides is the main star.

I felt like at first the effects were present. Seems like healing may have been sped up and performance was up.

Towards the middle of the second bottle the effects are minimal.

I would say 1 bottle is worth while, I am not sure 2 is of any benefit.

That being said, I have not been able to go lift at the gym lately. I have been doing only crossfit work-outs in light of the crossfit open that is happening. This maybe a better product for body builders.
