Shoutout to BPS for allowing me to log this. I've been interested in 5a-laxogenin products but always saw it being stated it'd be better as a topical, so I wanted to give this a go.

I'm 28 years old, 5'11 at 217lbs. I have been in a caloric deficit since the end of April and just this past week have brought it back up to maintenance levels. Starting tomorrow I'll bump calories up to start putting weight back on.

Training: 4 days a week (Upper/Lower/Upper/Lower) with a possible 5th day being strongman events. I will not be testing maxes as my programming won't call for it, but I religiously track volume & rep PR's so I'll know if there are strength gains. I'm a 220 powerlifter with a 1620 total but am training for a strongman event in July.

Goals: Gain strength and maintain a halfway decent body composition

Tonight is my second application. I'll give details in the morning.

So is 4 pumps recommended for weighing 220? Or should I increase?

Subbed! 5 should be the sweet spot as Laxo is usually dosed best at 100mg

Welcome, guys.

So here is my very first thought on Androcrine that I posted in the promotional thread:

Sooooo I'll put up the log in the morning. I want to sleep lol

But....

Here's 4 pumps:
ImageUploadedByAnabolicMinds1465818981.722609.jpg

No grit, no chunks. It looks, feels, applies (and almost even smells) like a moisturizer. Didn't take long to rub in. It didn't leave me sticky, especially around the chest hair (upper body application).

Application-wise, it's an awesome first impression. Good packaging, easy pumping (not some cheap crap pump), and goes on well.
And the bottle:

Last nights application went on well. I'd rub it in, then brush my teeth and by then it was well dry enough.

So...looking for strength gains.

My next few weeks of training will be:

Monday's
Safety Squat Bar Squats
Deficit Pulls
Asst

Tuesday's
Close Grip Axle Bench
Axle Push Press
Asst

Thursday's
Chain Loaded Deadlift (to simulate keg drop deadlift)
Front Squats
Asst

Friday's
Heavy 1-arm DB OHP
DB Press
Asst

Saturday's
Farmer Carry
Sandbag Carry

I'm looking forward to this helping my joints hold up. My shoulders are notoriously terrible and it always hinders my horizontal pressing movements so....I only started back up flat benching this past week so I'm hoping I'll be able to continue doing so.

Try using it on your shoulders as it tends to have a better focus on the area that you apply it to. Not a huge difference, but enough.

BTW, I'm glad you were picked to log this! Good luck and enjoy!

Normally would have done arms, as my upper days are 'full' upper with a certain emphasis on vertical or horizontal, but ran low on time. Strength felt fairly good and I was bumping alone between sets. It was a "feel good" kind of a day.

5 pumps on the shoulders and upper chest last night. Can't stress enough how well this product applies.

Figured the next 3 weeks I'd just do a half-ass 5/3/1 for my deadlift. I kind of strayed from my programming a bit this block. I figure any reps are going to carryover to the strongman contest. And will be much easier deadlifting a large frame than an unfixed bar.

I'm going to have to give up on front squatting again. Crooked clavicle still won't handle it.

Still continuing with 5 pumps on the shoulders/upper chest. Application remains easy.

Haha I appreciate it guys. The straps gave me a few reps though :p And it's taken me a long long time to perfect my stances

So...Friday:

Strict Single Arm DB Press w/ Fat Grips
Work up
80x4x6

Flat Dumbell Bench
80x5x12

Delt Raises
15xInfinity

Close Grip Seated Cable Row
160x8x10

Bi/Tri
100 reps total each

Banded Triple Threats

Saturday:
Sandbag Carry
25ft at 50", twice each
125?
220
250

Farmer Carry
3x50ft with 255

https://instagram.com/p/BGzWqgxl9cb/

I'm lapping it easier now. Just having trouble standing up. But, I got 3 total picks with the 250 and 2 "runs" with it. The second pick never made it high enough in my chest and I dumped it halfway down. So, made my goal of at least picking the fücker up.

-----------------------------------------------

Good strength on both days. My shoulders are holding up with my pressing frequency for now, hopefully that continues. Elbows got a bit cranky though so we'll see if that subsides.

I'm going to say yes. This is the greatest frequency of pressing that I've maintained without irritation. After this week, I'll update that "yes" hopefully a "F yes"

How is Androcrine treating you? Any notes?
I cant speak for Sean1332... But the Androcrine has really helped me get back into some bigger lifts, which in turn is boosting my motivation, and in turn once again, getting me some gains I didnt think Id see again. 38 going on 21 maybe?

SATURDAY

Upper

Strict Single Arm DB OHP
5's up to 90x5
65x3x12

Flat DB Bench
90x5x10

Close Grip Seated Cable Row
Ran up the rack for 100 total reps

Bi/Tri
4x12

Then I helped setup and judged my gym's Push/Pull comp the following 2 hours. I got deadlift antsy watching everyone deadlift and decided to sumo deadlift a cold/hook gripped/unpeaked 590 which had the speed of an opener. Pretty satisfied with that.

TONIGHT

Lower

Safety Squat Bar Squat
482x7.85 saw stars with rep 8 and rode it down
432x8
342x8
252x2x8

Stiff-Legged DB DL/Single-leg LP
85 vs Average Band x4x10/2pps x4x12

Leg Ext/Leg Curl
130 total reps each

https://instagram.com/p/BHI0HQ5DZ6w/

+2, almost 3, rep PR for 482 wrapless. I lost my upper back and instantly saw stars when I hit the wall. Just squatted back down with it. Still satisfied with the sets I got in.

-----------------------------------------------
So, pulled a 30lbs less than my 1rm completely cold, unplanned and untrained pretty damn easily, hit a solid rep PR for this specific bar weight, AND maintained intensity through the rest of my workout, allowing me to achieve greater training volume. It's safe to say that my strength is up. Shoulders are feeling on point as well. I've never maintained 2x/wk frequency at this intensity without suffering from any shoulder irritation.

Decent results, man. What is your nutrition geared towards?
Thanks, man. I was at a 500 calorie deficit just before starting Androcrine. I reversed it as I started the applications and am now slightly above maintenance. So that, along with this product, is helping produce some quick strength gains. I got to mention my shoulders though. I've been plagued with terrible shoulders. Poor posture/previously broken clavicle that can cause AC joint issues/and a piss poor rotator cuff on the other shoulder. I've got an elite powerlifting total with a sub-300 bench. It's always been my speed bump. I'll go through phases of decent pressing progress, but it always goes into the drain after a month or so. This is the best my pressing has felt in a long long time, and not only that, but I'm able to press 2x a week, both horizontal and vertical, with some decent volume.

Sean1332, Ive been looking into one of those slingshots for benching. It says it forces proper form and drastically reduces shoulder pains and issues. Might be worth the $50.
