Big thanks to smith_69 for sending me a bottle of 11K Test.

Stats:
35 years old
5'6
185 (after workout today, forgot to weigh myself before)


Goal:
lose fat- I don't really go by the scale but this is the most I've ever weighed


Supplements:
multi, fish oil, protein, bcaa, preworkout, cissus


Workout:
chest/bicep, back/tricep, legs/shoulders (sometimes I do legs/shoulders on separate days)
20-30 minutes cardio after workouts

additional cardio day 35-45 minutes every other week


Nutrition:
I track calories using myfitnesspal.com, TDEE is a little above 2400,
I usually hit 1900-2200, 4-5 meals/snacks per day


I'll post pics and take first dose tomorrow morning.

ill ask NutraChem for additional info, but remember with tetrasorb, it will not be broken down as fast as a reg supp or pill. If you do take 3 per day, at least 45-1 hour before working out. Not sure what your schedule is
when i start,
6 am , 1045- gym hour later and last one around 4 pm. I know some might say better benefit taking later to keep the dose spread out other might want to take all 3 at once. I dont like taking supps after 6 pm, thats me.

6/5- leg/trap workout, 25 minute cardio on stationary bike

went to gym about an hour after 2nd dose, felt very calm/relaxed/focused, i've taken similar supps (11oxo, starchemlabs icon) so this was expected,
really good workout (increased weight/reps/sets from last week), cardio was a breeze

noticing increased acne and lethargy. acne could be due to warm weather and humidity. not sure about the lethargy though. i'm on summer break so i'm usually lazy anyways.

had really good sleep last night, woke up feeling refreshed/energized

to make this is as easy as possible so you dont rebound, get weak or headaches with a strict start up cut, start the restricting deficit 2 weeks out. so the first 2 days, you drop by each by 10-20%. stick with that for 2 days, days 3-5 drop down another 10 % and day 6-7 stay at where you are, give your body a chance to adapt.
the next few days, you will do as above until you hit your target daily intake. if you miss a day or take in more one day, then add an extra day to this. by the time you are ready for where you want to be, you will be able to adapt a lot faster and will be ready to burn more fat.

you may (depending on your own body) keep your protein intake the same or raise it. remember that the first thing your body will use for fuel is your muscle.
people who diet who starve themselves or eat 3 meals a day with little intake vs 5-7 with moderation will be able to keep wgt off and stay strong.

Global warming, dawg. We all gonna die! :rolleyes: (j/k)

Body temp is inversely proportional to the level of corticosteroids in circulation. Because 11-KT probably attenuates conversion of cortisone to cortisol, that means it likely supports higher basal temps and greater T4 to T3 conversion too.

I would go with 2 caps for about a week, just to get a feel for it. 2 caps was impressively decent when i tested this, but I like to ride the lowest dose as long as possible, then bump it every few weeks to maintain response.

But it's your choice so use 3 or 4 or whatever you like. It's all good data for guys following your cycle.

have about 1000 calories left for dinner so I'll probably get something reasonably tasty and watch the NBA Finals

How do you think this compares to 11-Oxo? How would you compare the effects dosage-wise? I.e. - do you believe 200 mg of 11-KT is = to say, 800 mg of 11-oxo? Do you have any opinion on that?

I dosed 11oxo @3caps (225mg) per day for 40 days. It was really, really mild. Lost about 7 pounds total on that. After a week 11KT is easily much more effective. I'd say 11KT would be at least double 11oxo if not more.

maybe NutraChem or smith_69 can comment on the science apsect

I wanted to run 11oxo at higher doses but it was too expensive back in the day. You've got me wondering now about the effectiveness of both capped and transdermal 11KT. Maybe they'll let someone log it.

11-KT in TretaSorb enteric caps seems about 3x more potent that 11-Oxo in normal gel caps. Obviously that's an oral comparison.

I've done quite a bit of 11-Oxo oral, not much trans though (stuff is a b---- to solubilize!) ~900mg is my optimal daily dose with 11-Oxo and I'd guess it wouldn't be all that much better topically.

But so far I'd estimate that 11-KT might be 10-20% more active topic over oral, if that much? It's really not amazingly better. I know it's not supposed to be orally efficient, but its been my experience that it actually is to a surprisingly high degree.

I don't know how I missed your response to this - this is awesome.

It really does amaze me how many things are supposed to do this or not do that, in theory, but then in real life they do the opposite.

I would think that transdermal application, at best, gets 30% of the active into your system, and maybe as little as 15%, so at 250 mg of 11-KT per day transdermally, I would think that's between 32-65 mg that actually gets into your system....oral bioavailability doesn't have to be all that high to compete with this. And if you're talking 20% better transdermally, that means that 250 mg is turning into approx. 26-52 mg of of active 11-KT in your system, which is 10-15% bioavailablity...not great, but it would in theory the numbers would add up that way.
