Shrinking Tank with BLR Follidrone v2 and Exotherm

I will be running a log here mostly to keep myself accountable but also because I expect good results from BLR products so why not share.

In short, for years I hung out at a comfortable 320lbs, but without realizing it my weight had crept up to 485lbs. On 1/1/14 I started cutting in earnest. I am now down to 253lbs at about 6'3". My goal right now is 225lbs. I don't know my bodyfat, but for the first time in years I can see my ribs and hip bones, have some nice definition in my shoulders and bis/tris, and my hammies and quads have started popping through.

I will be not be posting my macros or cardio as both stay approximately the same: a minimum of 30 minutes cardio every dang day, and calories between 1800-2400. Carbs right now are from fresh fruits and vegetables, fats are from avocado and raw nuts and seeds, and protein is from powders and delicious animal products; fish, eggs, meat, chicken....

I lift 4 times a week- generally. Chest and shoulders, back and traps, arms and anything else I feel like throwing in, and squats/leg day.

I don't lift heavy. I generally use the same weights. However depending how I feel, I either rep out or go super slow. I usually have only 2-3 work sets per movement with the last one being a drop set.

My hopes and goals are to cut some weight, retain my strength, and hopefully rehab my shoulder.

I got 3 bottles Follidrone v2 and Exotherm from the helpful folk at TGB. Other than a natty t booster, bcaas, fish oil and vitamins, that's all I'll be taking.

First day on will be tomorrow.

Oh, and if anyone can give me some insight on the dosing, I'd greatly appreciate it, as there seems to be different variations- especially on the exotherm.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

With exotherm i find 1 pump 3 times per day to be best dosage applied to inner thighs or neck and shoulders.

For Follidrone 2.0 1 cap in the AM and 2 caps Pre Workout or the other way around if training in the AM,

On off days you can dose follidrone 1 cap 3 times per day split to keep actives in system.

This is a solid stack and should aid in reducing body fat whilst maintaining or even gaining some muscle mass depending on how hard you work with the supplements.

So today was my first day. I dosed as suggested.I know I get all psyched with the start of a new stack so I started on chest/shoulder day, which is usually just a rehab day because of my bum right shoulder. So I kept it super light as always but I got in a nice amount of strict reps. Nothing elaborate, just basic stuff. It looked like this: (after warmups)
Bentch: 225x10x2
With a drop to 135x20
Seated shoulder press:135x15
135x10
W/drop to 95x20
Light flyes/squeeze press:45x10x2
PecDec:220x10x2
W/drop up the stack x10
Hammer shoulder:150x10x2
Hammer decline:190x10x2
Hammer incline:150x10x2
W/drop to 100x20

Reps a little higher than usual. Great vascularity and energy. Felt good.(except for the flyes which I'm probably going to drop)

Day 2 and feelin good

Today was back day. Kept it simple as always. My energy level was good.
This is what it looked like: (just the work sets)
Regular Dedz- 315x10x2
Drop to 275x10
Straight leg Dedz- 225x15
Bent rows-225x10
Drop down to 135x20
Hammer plate loaded shrugs
Reverse drop-3,4,5 plates per side x10
Dropset- 5.4.3.2pps x10
Seated Hammer shrugs-2pps x25
Strict wide pull downs.reverse set
120.160.200 x5
180 x10 drop up the rack x10
Assisted pull ups(yup.not there yet)neutral grip -10x2
Hammer plate rows- 3ppsx15x2
Drp to 2ppsx15

No stamina issues. Felt good.
Food and cardio is on point. I think I'll weigh myself friday.....

As I'm doing a 4 day split now, today is an off day from lifting. But of course I did my daily cardio, taking my supps, and keeping calories on point.
No doms after back day which is great. I'm not weighing in till friday, but I definitely dropped some fat as I just went down a belt hole. We'll see.

Day 4 - arms
I had a blast at the gym today. Solid work, great pump and vascularity. Good focus too. I pissed off a coupla guys who wanted to shoot the bull between sets cause I only took 45 sec.in between sets.

It looked like this:
Overhead BB Extensions- 60x15, 110x10, 80x15 dropped to 60x15
Close grip Bench- 135x15x2, 185x5, 225x10 dropped to 135x10
DB tri extensions- 50x15, 75x15 dropped to 50x15
Hammer Plate Precherz- 50x10, 75x10, 100x10: dropped to 75x10, 50x15
BB bent curlz- 135x10x3
(take the BB and bend forward about 10* and then curl strict)
DB hammer curlz- up and down the rack for 10s
Then, just because I was still feelin it, I did endless cable tris and bis.
Was a great day.

Weighed in at 249- that's down 4 lbs since monday. I feel strong. Lifting is solid and focused. No noticeable cons.
Today was squatz and various other leg torture. Didn't go heavy but put in some good reps. All reps solid and controlled with decent depth.

Squatz-225x10. 315x10. 315x10 w/drop to 225x10
Rack bottom up squatz-135x10(hate these but they are great for ingraining good depth)
Leg Press- 2ppsx10. 4ppsx15. 6ppsx20 w/drop to 3ppsx20
Hack Squat- 3ppsx20x2
Seated calf cybex- up the stack x50s
Standing calf machine- just repped out.

Really worked each rep. I don't know what I'm supposed to be feeling from these supps or when, but so far I just feel that if it wasn't for fear of overtraining I'd do another hour in the gym.....and 4 lbs down in 5 days ain't half bad- this isn't water weight as I'm on the tail end of a looooong recomp and pretty dried out.

good update, this works really well for fat loss i feel as the i am dropping on weight, i cannot wait to see how it treats me with carbs next week when i run at slightly above maintenance to start lean bulking.
I'm very not carb phobic, just eating very clean, and it seems to be working for me.

Welcome! You guys definitely have something exciting with this one. I'm actually switching from a four day lifting split to a five day because of the great recovery I've had in the first week.

glucose drops fast from the FD2 so maybe add some light gatorade or waxy maize to your intra workout water.

Thanks for that. Will try it tomorrow. Just got done doing chest - full speed awesome..will log it when I get home. Something is giving me an extra push - the FD2, Exo, or the combo....

So I decided to experiment a little by changing for this week from a 4 day split to a 5 day. Also, since my recovery has been so good last week and my shoulder has been feeling a little better I decided to push the reps and weights today. It was a wild and crazy time!

Bench- 135 x25 x2. 185 x15. 225 x10. 225x20 drop to 135 x20
DB Squeeze Press- 55s x15
Hammer Incline-100 x10. 150x15. 190x10
Hammer Decline- 185x10. 275x10 drop to 185x15
Cable Fly/Press Supers- up the stack x3 for 10s
PecDec- 220x10. 220x15 drop to 170x10 drop to 130x10
Now here's the fuuny part- I haven't tried pushups in a while, since I was too fat. Today I figured- wth, I lost weight, so let me try some- I punched out 30 good ones and then got bored! I think the last time I did 30 was in school!
It's a good day!

Thanks. Straight leg was always one of my favorites. I took my time and built it up slow over the years. I used to do off the platform, but I'll leave that for the younger guys....

Stiff deads and roman situps were always good to me.
I dont think I was ever limber enough to do them on a platform!

I wanted to push it a little so I kept the rests between 45 and and 90 seconds max. I saw veins I didn't know existed - the pump was awesome and I pulled a great session.
Close grip bench- 135x15x2. 185x15x2 drop to 135x25
Quick skullz- 70x15 drop to 50x25x3
Hammer precherz- 50x10. 75x10. 100x15. 110x10. Drop to 75x15. Drop to 50x20
DB oh extensions- 55x25. 70x25. Drop to 55x15

First off, doing a 5 day split instead of a 4 was not as easy as i thought. It definitely ate into my recovery. That being said, performance wise it was much beyond what I expected. Very short but intense. Thankful that I have 2 recovery days coming up.

Hack squats- 3pps x20x3
High rep calf work.

And that was it.

Still full dosing FD2 and Exo with no tweaks necessary. I added some carbs intra workout as you reccommended.
I've been on weight loss for over 2 years now and truth is I haven't felt this "strong" in a long long time.

Fantastic feeling. Feeling fantastic.
I decided to push my expected limits as usual. I was going to do 10x10 for chest and 10x10 for shoulders, but I was so pumped and psyched, I added 2 more high set movements. Everything was done strict and with 20-40 seconds between sets.

Bentch Press- 135x10. 135x10. 185 for 10x10
Seated Shoulder Press- 115 for 10x10 (need to go up on these; was really light)
PecDec- 220x10 for 7 sets
Dips- 10 for 7 sets
And then I ran out before I decided to do more!

Tried some things that I haven't done in a while. Thoroughly enjoyed myself while working hard. Keepind the weights moderate but repping out.This has been a wild and crazy trip so far!
Oh, and I started adding fresh squeezed juice to my intra....

DB rows- 1 drop set: 105/85/70 x10 each
Hammer rows- 3pps x20

A bunch of asstd pull ups, pull up negatives, and pull downs.

It's all good. I don't laze around at the gym. I go in an get it done. So by the time most people run outa steam, I'm home already. Lol

Tons of high rep cable work

This was good.

Let's call it an even lb down from last week, for a total of 6 lbs down in under 3 weeks. Not bad at the tail end of a 2 1/2 year diet. However, as I can never leave well enough alone, I'm going to try some changes next week, one week at a time. My calories are strictly on point - I obsessively log everything I eat or drink- so I think I'm going to play with the macros and see the effect on the scale and how I feel. My protein intake is as close to perfect as I can get, so I'm gonna nudge my carbs downward and my healthy fats upward. Slightly. If it works, it's all good. If not - no big deal. As long as I'm staying strong and headed in the right direction, I'm happy.

Keeping in the theme of the week - 10x10s and various other insanities - it went like this:
Squats- 225x10x10 all reps controlled and steady. My nutty powerlifting buddies say I was legal depth on 50 - 75% of my squats- I'll take it!
Hack Squats- 3pps x20 for 3 sets
Leg Press - 5pps x20 for 3 sets
Some high rep calf work and I was outa there!
My legs feel like rubber, but I feel good.

Just want to point out thay there's some extraordinary recomp noticeable in under 3 weeks disproportionate to the amount of weight loss.
I just tried on a dress shirt that barely closed 3 weeks ago, and now it's actually very loose! This is wonderful - I feel good!

I don't want to push the limits too much because I really want to cut fat, but this stuff is already working beyond expectation

Will you be pushing the dose of FD2.0 up to 4 or 5 caps per day, i am holding off on doing that to make the run more cost effective, i would rather run for 3 months or even 4 months at 3 a day than 2-3 months at 4+

As long as the weight keeps dropping and all the other added benifits, I'm thinking of sticking with 3. But who knows - I stashed another 3 bottles just in case....

I am down another 4.5 pounds this week, currently at 190.75 lbs from this mornings weigh in.

I feel it working good at 3 caps, 1 am and 2 pwo, and on my Sunday Rest day 1 x 3 times per day.
