Thanks to Chuck Diesel for asking me if I'd like to try his new Dieselade BCAA's! I received it late last week but had a cold so I held off on trying it until I could taste! Lol First impression on the packaging was great! The label and it was sealed very well! That may not seem like a big deal but I have had several products in the past that the powder has leaked into the plastic seal outside the lid or the inside seal pops off when taking the lid off. Just let me know that Diesel pays attention to the details.

I will be logging my workouts each day but probably only giving an update on my recovery about every 10-15 days unless I feel necessary.

Many of you may already know, but I am in the process of trying to repair my metabolism after years of abuse and then years of dieting. So nutrition is close to maintenance right now.

As for training, I just started a new program today! This is a full body program mixed with weightlifting, calisthenics, and conditioning! I will also be working in some bodyweight exercises on some of my days off. I usually train at 5 am except Friday's I sleep in a bit and train at 8 am.

Day 1:
Drank PWO on the way to the gym.

Warmup/Rolling: 10 mins

Hero's warmup:

**4 mins each / 20/10 sec intervals**

Round 1:
Squats and push-ups

Round 2
Mountain climbers and reverse lunges

** This workout was rough today. Strength and energy are still low from being sick last week! Ready to get my numbers and energy back up! This stuff came just in time for that too!!

Fixed 1 scoop of Dieselade in 24 oz right after my workout! Initial thoughts:

Taste- 8/10 pretty good! Smooth! Not gritty or chalky. Simple flavoring but very sweet. The cherry flavor is much stronger than the limemade part as well.

Mix-ability - 9/10
Very good mix ability. I put it in ice water and shook it for about 5 seconds and it was mostly dissolved. Shook another 10 secs and it was dissolved. I did notice a little setting after it sat for a min. Nothing major! Just needed a little shake or stir before drinking. Didn't have a grainy texture so that was a win for me!

I can say I think this new workout is going to put the Dieselade to the test!! My legs have been aching all day! I'm supposed to do 100 push-ups 100 squats and 25 pull-ups on my non lifting days too!

No lifting today! Soreness isn't horrible but I am definitely very stiff! Ran off and forgot my shake and aminos this morning but I'll have some Dieselade tonight when I get home.

No lifting today but I went at lunch to a local park and did
100 banded pull ups
100 squats
100 push-ups on a bench

These were done in smaller sets in a circuit. They were pretty challenging being sore but should help circulate the blood.

Hubby had a meeting tonight so I got to grill chicken myself! I've only grilled maybe 2-3xs. I'm usually the one doing the sides. Turned out pretty good! Juicy and not over cooked! Even used some new hot sauce I found. Sodium actually isn't near as bad as most hot sauces and it taste great!!

Thanks guys! I don't actually "worry or obsess" about it. It's more of I'm somewhat aware of it. Lol I don't got heavy adding salt to things like it use to but I don't go without either.

I cook with potassium salt and leave the salt out when I make cookies. If I use butter, I mix 1/2 salted and 1/2 unsalted. I took this BCAA once with 250mg of sodium citrate per scoop on a 2 hour road trip in 20oz water......I got out my truck and literally hit the ground because of a bad hamstring cramp. I feel I get enough salt naturally, and 3 McDonalds french fries or a supplement w over 200mg sodium will blow me up real quick. Like drinking a bunch of glycerol.

But its weird bc dif sodium sources act different w me. Food naturally higher in salt like peas don't have an affect on me.
