First and foremost I want to give OlympusLabs a big shout out, and thank them for allowing me to log the oral version of Ep1c Unleashed.

This lovely bottle was waiting for me, when I got home from the beach last night. :)

I'm currently eating at a caloric deficit & trying to cut body fat. Calories are around 1540 with higher protein, moderate carbs & fat.

I do not want to lose any muscle or strength during this "cut". I have high hopes that the Epic Unleashed can definitely help me maintain during this time. I'm also not wanting my endurance to suffer, and I feel like the Epic Unleashed will prevent that from happening as well.

Stats...
Age: 30
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 119lbs (with a 1-2lb fluctuation)

I recently revamped my workout regimen. I currently full body strength train on a 4 day split (Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun), I do Insanity classes on Monday nights, and PIYO on Thursday nights. On my strength days I train in the gym with yates84!!

My ultimate goal is to actually see my Deadlift & Bench 1RM improve while during this run!!

I will be taking my first dose very shortly...before Insanity class.

Let the fun begin!!!

Hubby has raved about it for a long time. I am very excited to get a chance to try it, in the oral form.

Thank you all for being here!! I think this is going to be a fun run!!

Not much to log or report tonight. I went to my Insanity class & pushed through gnarly hamstring & chest DOMS from this weekend's workouts. I actually help lead our Insanity classes. The instructor asked if I'd learn the modified version & help her out....so the less advanced people would have someone to follow. Let me tell you...even doing modified push-ups with chest DOMS are brutal!!

Good morning!! Got in a nice full body session this morning. It felt good to be back in my home gym, after the weekend away!!

Deadlifts
75x12x4

Curtsy lunges with Db's
10x12x3

Bent over rows
55x12x4

Close grip bench press
40x12x4
*last few reps on the last 2 sets were forced*

Db pullovers
20x12
*a bit too heavy so dropped the weight for following sets*
15x12x3

Reverse Extensions
12x3

Concentrated curls
12.5x12x4

Rear delt raises
5x12x3

Spending the rest of my day with two 2.5yr old boys. Eek. That might be a whole nother workout!!

Good workout, and I hear you on the 2 year olds. My granddaughters kill me if I don't plan right. One of my tricks is to take them to the park and let them run wild while grampa rests and keeps a watchful eye. :)

As previously stated, I'm in the process of cutting some of the fluff. . . .while maintaining strength with the help of the Ep1c!!

You are looking good in the start I can not wait to see the finish. Just a little tip bring your wrist down and in to really flex your bicep and show off the peak..

Good afternoon!! Today was full body superset day! Shew, it was a workout too.
30 sec rest between sets and 1 min rests between supersets.

SS:1
Front squat w/Db's
12.5x12x4

Db bench press
15x12x4

SS:2
Sumo deadlift
55x12x4

Overhead press
30x12x4

SS:3
Assisted Pull-up (weight is assisted weight...I suck at these)
90x10x4

Unilateral bent over rows
12.5x12x4

SS:4
RDL's
45x12x4

Cable tricep push downs
30x12x4

I felt great during my workout, although it was very tiring. I pushed through with more endurance than expected. My muscles are already tight too. So, I'm going to feel that tomorrow!! I need to get a foam roller & start using it for recovery!!

It's probably the only thing that kept me looking like anything good during my cut .. Cals were stupid low (by my own mistake and poor research) and I still managed to make gains trough most of it (16 weeks) while shredding from 15% to 9% and not losing/slightly adding strength or reps to lifts

Not to mention the increases endurance and drive for cardio

That's good to hear as I am having to go a faster than I intended on my prep.

Sorry for the delayed update. Things have been a bit crazy this week. Thursday was cardio day. I typically do PIYO in the evenings, but wasn't going to be able to make it. So, I went Thursday morning & walked for 30 mins on the treadmill with it on the highest incline. I could tell my endurance & stamina were maintaining much better!!

Yesterday was rest day.

Got back at it this morning!!

Front squat with Db's
12.5x12x4

Bent over row
55x12x4

Decline bench
55x12x4

Side lunge with Db's
12.5x12x4

Alternating Db curls
10x12x4

Bench dip w/feet up
12x4

Side lunge with Db's
12.5x12x4

Alternating Db curls
10x12x4

Bench dip w/feet up
12x4

I'm noticing that my DOMS are becoming pretty minimal. I'm usually a wrecked mess after these full body workouts, but the past few post workout days have been much better...as far as soreness goes. My muscles feel worked vs feeling like I've been hit by a truck. Strength seems to be right on point too. Even after only 4 hrs of sleep last night, and feeling kinda blah this morning, my strength didn't feel compromised as it typically would! It's challenging to keep my weight lower while following this particular program, but I can tell my strength is still there.

55x12x4

20x12x4

Alternating Db curls
