Thanks to JWA and Millennium Sports, for giving me my next log. I will be logging both their Riptide and Shred!

I will continue my current type of training with increased cardio. As many know my diet and cardio has been best over last couple weeks. But I got a long way to go!

I really enjoy them, because you can go really heavy without a spotter...

Here's a video i found. The bench in this video is only @ a 45 degree angle. She is lift up from the floor.
I do them @ 60-75 degree angle with the bench butted up to the cable machine and bring the cable just
about head level and then extend forward away from me.

They look awesome. I like doing standing overhead extensions personally... I will admit that I've never tried this though.

Another favourite is smith machine skull crushers.. They are cool.

Went on lunch and did mile cardio at track. Then hit gym that's on base at work for back. Friend from school wanting me to start going with him and this girl he's training. He graduated with me and played college fb in Virginia. I remember him benching 450 in 9th. He's like 6'1 330 now. But he wants to start back and get motivated. SO I told him that I already go to gym after work with brothers, and he ask me to go at lunch and he'd pay my membership, month to month. So doing 2 days when I can. Did back with him today and chest after work.

Back

db rows: 50 lbs x 8, 80 lbs x 6, 65 lbs x 8

wide grip pull downs: 120 lbs x 10, 10, 140 lbs x 10

machine rows: 110 lbs x 10,10,10

dead lifts: straight bar style. 135 lbs x 10, 185 lbs x 8, 225 lbs x 6

did face pulls. However I don't understand how one cable machine at one gym can be so far in terms of weight from another. At normal gym 120 lb face pulls for sets of 10 but this gym the 57.5 lbs felt equal to the 120 at other. Did 3 sets 10 reps

I get this exact problem between the 2 gyms I go to... Very annoying.

As said earlier, already hit cardio and back today and then went after work to hit chest. When I say number 1 i'm half past dead and number 2 will power is stronger then you think lol I"m not kidding. I didn't think I'd mount to crap after the morning workout.

Chest:

incline barbell press: 135 lbs x 10, 185 lbs x 8, 225 lbs x 6, 275 lbs x 3

flat db bench press: 50 lbs x 10, 85 lbs x 8, 8

peck deck flyes: 150 lbs x 10,10,10

single arm peck deck flyes: 150 lbs x 10,10,10

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! Was at ball fields all day Saturday. Yesterday went to gym and hit back then went to high schools track and did 2 sets of stadiums and 2 laps around track. Bad thing is before cardio, while at the gym I tweaked that same spot I messed during softball 5 weeks ago. On the last set coming I heard a pop. It was weird bc I could move my leg a lil better after the pop. The pain is around my pelvic hip area where the meat is and right around upper inner thigh. It hurts when I move my leg inward, but walking and jogging it's fine.

Back:

trap bar dead lifts: 135 lbs x 8, 275 lbs x 8, 315 lbs x 2

DB rows: 55 lb's x 8,8,8

wide grip pull downs: 100 lbs x 8,8,8

machine rows: 100 lbs x 8,8,8

cable bar straight pulldowns: 50 lbs x 10,10,10

Don't know what you call these but friend had us doing them. Standing taking a pair of db's, and with slight bend, move the db's backwards then slightly forward. He saw it on a video.
