"Creatine works on the phosphocreatine and ATP systems while possibly buffering exercise produced hydrogen protons (acid), while caffeine demonstrates a powerful stimulation for the release of epinephrine."

***Finaflex Creatine and Energy***

I have been given an opportunity to log this product for 30 days. It is a creatine blend 5g total and contains 100 mg of caffeine. From the start these two ingredients together caught my eye, because in the past there has been controversy between the two together, and furthermore because they are two of the most effective and common supplements.

About me:
I am a 29 year old male. No known health issues.
6ft tall 220 lbs

My diet is very low carbs, all carb intake on my heaviest workout days: intra and post workout. No carbs, high fat and protein on my active rest days and rest days. My current goal is recomping at 220 to lead into my summer cut, which i am hoping wont bring me down more than 10lbs. I aim to do my cardio midday and workout in the evenings. I have a desk job so i try to hit the gym 6-7 days a week, twice a day in most capacities.

My training style is a mix between heavy compound movements and hypertrophy work. I base most of my workouts on classic barbell exersises. Deadlifts, Squats, Bench, Overhead Presses and some Olympic lifts. I incorporate barbell complexes and Hiit into my cardio, as well as callistenthics and agility work.

I have tons of experience with creatine in the past. I have tried many types and blends. My last run was over four months at 5g mono a day and towards the end of my use an additional 5g post workout. I have been detoxed off creatine for approximately 8 weeks, i am hoping to see some great benefits from this new blend containing creatine anhydrous, which ive never taken before.

I also am a big coffee drinker and enjoy espressos and dark roasts, black with no sugar or sweetner. I take these before workouts and in the morning, so i am no stranger to caffiene. Not to mention preworkouts and fat burners ive taken in the past.

During this log i will be taking Finaflex Creatine Energy in many different combinations and times to fit my regimen and find the best uses. Since this is the unflavored version it is very versitile and will allow me to be flexible in how i am taking it. This is a huge plus for me as far as making it an addition in my arsenal.

Day 1

Dosed 5 grams preworkout with some crystal light for flavor, i added in 3 caps of acute fx for about 280 total mg of caffiene. Was typical creatine texture. I usually mix in a warmer water to help dissolve better, however this went down just fine. Any residual in my shaker was leftover fpr my intraworkout aminos i mixed right after. I used Finaflex BCAA SAA green apple.

Day 2
Dosed creatine energy with 2 caps yohimbine and some Finaflex BCAA SAA green apple for the flavor. I didnt do anymore caffiene because i took pre training and i didnt train till 8pm. I see this as a minor setback to this product for all the night dwellers who work in the am lol. At the same time 100mg caffiene is perfect to get in the zone and not be stimmed out of my mind. I cannot say its really changing anything at this point, normally creatine takes a few weeks to reach saturation levels. Also keep in mind i am fresh back to creatine after about two months off, and ive been limiting my red meat intake as well. I have increased my water intake to roughly a gallon and half up from my usual gallon a day.

Strong legs man, and a killer looking circuit yesterday. You're killing it.

Yup, takes me about a week to notice the effects of Creatine. Then again, I don't think I've been "off" in 3 years.

Thanks bro. Im tryna really progress this year. Its going well so far.

I was in the same boat before with creatine. With all the supps that have it, even my protein had it when i was drinking carnivor, and i was eating alot of red meat, so i had to detox off all of it. Maybe not the steak completely lol. But i hope that my fullness and strentgh get better!

I can honestly say being creatine free for almost 8 months I noticed the creatine after the first day as far as fluid retention and the pump taking it pre workout.

I'm with you guys though and creatine is in so many things ive gone pretty long on it and it almost seems like your receptors get a little overwhelmed and the crazy thing is I didn't make a decision to stop the creatine, I just ran out of my PWO and Creatine and stopped buying it, kinda been doing a little PH here and there and nothing else, I gotta say i'm glad to be back on it cause it does a lot of things nothing else can!

Lol thanks. Honestly im dealing with a shoulder issue and i have been struggling to get my bench back to where i was at before it happend. I was sitting at 315 flat for about two months straight, so now after 285 yesterday i feel pretty good. Just tryna be patient tho. Hopefully this creatine will help me take it up a notch!

Today was a great day of training and rest. My meals were all clean and adequate according to my macros. I did an intense cardio session coupled with callisthentics, then took my drenched hoddy off, threw my yankee fitted on, mixed a hbcd intra workout shake with some leucine and went into a high volume arm workout. Then I rested, ate and took my creatine energy with some bcaas for flavor. I mixed in hot water and it completely dissolved. I hit the gym with all intentions of breaking a dead pr for the same poundage with higher reps than last week.
I accomplished this, however I used different plates than last week. So the outcome was a heavier poundage for more reps, which i didnt know till it was over. I am extremely happy, last week was 465 for 3, this week 475 for 4.

I mixed it today with a black coffee. It did give it a slightly acidic taste, but it was a great boost, and it dissolved completely with a few stirs of a spoon. Suprisingly The best mixability yet.

This was the first time ive done GVT. I was worried at first because i wasnt hitting failure on any of my first seven sets. Once set eight rolled around i started to understand this style of training. I honestly loved that workout. My muscle contraction and pump were incredible. I focused and got it done. I am definitely starting to see the muscle fullness and strength from the creatine starting to kick in. I have been keeping my water intake high.

GVT is the main set 10x10, but not on all accessory stuff. It's usually tempo'd, tho. Nice work man.

I def did the 10 x 10, and my rests were all 1 min in between. My reps were all the same tempo, controlled. What tempo are you supposed to use?
