Hey guys thanks for reading my LOG.

First thing's first... Id like to thank the guys at LG Science for letting me try their all new EPIC pre-workout powder. Really appreciate it.
Ill update this log every time I use this product until the tub is empty (i normally train 5-6 days a week)

Anyway let's begin, Im a little behind some other logs of this product because I only recieved mine 1 day ago (international post).

So this morning was the first time ive taken EPIC fe things to note:

1. Taste- 4/5. Great lemonade flavour, doesnt taste too artificial unlike som others, maybe a tiny bit sweeter would make this 5/5.
2. Mix- 4/5. Great mixability, i used a spoon and just water, mixes really well all the way through just a few little bits left but nothing unusual.
3. Effects- Read below.

Energy:
Well to start with im a VERY stim tolerant person and struggle to get a kick from much except DMAA (when it was around). I followed what it said on the label as it was my first time using this product (2 scoops).
I straight away noticed the beta-alanine tingles in my lips but no where else, the energy was nice and clean and non intense, it lasted the entire workout which was great :)

Focus:
I thought the focus was very good considering i only took one serving, it wasnt tunnel-vision sort of focus but it stopped me getting distracted and helped me push though with good intensity, Im excited to try 4 scoops (2 servings) and see how tht hits me.

Pump:
May have been placebo? But the pump seemd to be excellent today during my arm workout, much more so than normal (no pre-workout) so was pleased with that, not skin splitting but definatley was hurting after quite a few reps/sets.

So for a first time experience im quite happy and think its good. Like I said though i need to up the dose just because i want to really have some 'kick' in the workout. Again thanks to the guys at LG Science for letting me try, really really appreciate it!!

Will update again tomorrow (leg day).

Thanks

Let's cut to the chase, your all just wanting to hear my review today. Here it is :)

Energy:
Well yesterday I has just 2 scoops (1 serving) and it was good nothing mind blowing but good. Today though I upped it to 4 scoops and I can tell you that the difference was HUGE. I didn't want to leave the gym and also I had no crash afterwards! That's always great. So really impressed with the energy.

Focus:
Definatley had a lot more focus today. Which I really needed as it was legs lol. It was so effective that I set a new PB in squats, 405lb for an easy easy 1. Could have smashed out 3... That's a 25lb PR!!!

Pump:Saw a noticeable difference in my pump, quads were practically splitting with the blood flow. So good there too.

So after upping the dose there was a massive difference in a couple areas, think I'll stay at this dose for the rest of the week and report back with my findings. Seems a very solid/good product for me though. Especially since I'm highly stim tolerant.

Thanks

Right 3rd Day...

Energy:
After yesterday i decided to stick with 4 scoops as it seemed perfect. Well todays energy was just as good, in fact i did a bit of circuit work at the end just for the fun as i had spare time and energy :)

Focus:
Focus was good again, not as much as squat day but to be fair i trained shoulders today and dont need to get 'pumped up' for it as im not a huge fan lol. But didnt lose any concentration! SO still great.

Pump:
Pretty insane pump in my Tri's and shoulders today, especially when doing side laterals... It was really hurting haha which is awesome!

So keeping the dose the same yielded basically the same results, tomorrow is arm day once again so will be interesting to see how painful it will be now with 4 scoops :)

Still loving it at the moment though.

Decided today to swap my workout from arms to deadlift training...

Took 5 scoops today to see how it would affect me...

Energy:
Surprisingly, the same as the day before on 4 scoops but felt like a little more endurance. Still hit another PR THOUGH :) 420lbs 3x3 defecit.

Focus:
Focus very good again, really helped me get into my aggressive state of mind for ripping **** off the floor.

Pump:
Noticed it mainly in my biceps from all the pulling movements. Back got a decent pump also doing some isolation work.

So overall as per usual great day training again and still really enjoying the product, one of the best pre workouts I've takes so far, guess final verdict will be most important once the tub is finished.

Training arms tomorrow morning so will report back again, hoping for some insane pumps :)

Nice early session this morning... Trained arms and took 4 scoops...

Well one thing I can tell you is that I've NEVER felt such an incredible pump as well as feeling SICK...ON AN ARM DAY!

Energy:
Such immense energy this morning that I must have done 8 sets on each exercise... So a **** ton of volume today, that's why I felt sick, just an all out intense workout!

Focus:
Incredible today, nothing could distract me once I started, probably the best focus so far. Even better than squat day.

Pump:
Just ridiculous, stupidly painful and intense but amazing at the same time... Felt like if done 100 reps, when only doing 10 lol.

So another great day on EPIC, got a feeling this may become my favourite and permanent pre workout :)

Rest day tomorrow so will report back Monday. Thank again to the guys at LG Sciences for his amazing opportunity.

The main thing is to make sure and use the serving that works best for you. Typically 1-3 servings is the right dosing. I personally go with 3 scoops (1.5 servings).

Well feeling much better today, nice and rested for my chest session.
Took 2 servings again today as im loving that right now.

Energy:
Serious concentration today, nearly had tunnel vision...But not quite. Really Kept me in the game the entire workout. No crash again :)

Focus:
Amazing again, like I said almost had tunnel visions which really helped today as it was chest day with paused reps at 265lb.
Had loads of focus throughout fly's, dips, press-ups etc.

Pump:
Very very happy with the pump, pains when doing fly's and dips, which was great!
Still kept the pump even in the shower lol.

So overall another great day, this stuff just doesn't get old. No effects have 'worn off' as of yet so really happy about that, normally by the 2nd week most PWO's have lost that kick... But not this!

Thanks :) I think having those couple of days off really helped and let me push harder today. Going for another heavy da of deadlifts tomorrow..

Thinking something along the lines of 440lb's 3x3 off a 4" defecit. That's would be another PR!..... COME ON EPIC!

Another day another Gain :)

Well today was heady deadlift day (not maxes), ive been working on my defecits to build my strength and speed off the floor the past few weeks. So today I just tried 485lb's for 2x1 off the floor to guage speed.... Well what can I say it felt like 420lb did a few weeks ago :)

Anyway down to the Product:

Energy:
Great again, clean and kept me going throughout this gruelling workout. Always an intense day with deadlifts.
Here's what I did today:

Deadlifts:
135 x5
225 x3
315 x3
405 x2
440 x2
485 x1 (2x sets)

Lat pulls Close grip:

200 x 10 (4 sets)
135 x failure (2 sets)

DB Rows:

110 x 10 (4 sets)
75 x 25 (3 sets)

T-bar:

225 x 10 (3 sets)
Drop set from 225 to 45

Heavy back extensions:

135 x 5 paused reps (3 sets)
225 x 2 paused reps (2 sets)

Focus:
Great as always, really helps me get in my zone for deadlifts which is a real bonus! Not fading at all.

Pump:
Nice big back pump after all the accessory work, also my hams were seriously pumped with all the dead work.

Another great day on EPIC, I almost want to complain about something now just because its getting old typing good things :)
I suppose my only complaint is that there were a few bits left at the bottom of my shaker... tut tut :)

I am glad you found your sweet spot on the dosing. All of the "ultra concentrates" really need 1-3 doses to be effective and more experienced people should probably be at 2-3 full doses to be right. I am good about 2 doses prior to working out and 1.5 to get me out of bed on days where I simply want to sleep in...

Yeah exactly that, even when I used the original Jack3d which had DMAA, id till use 2 scoops sometimes more. This is a very concentrated pre-workout with the perfect balance of ingredients. And I never get a crash which is always a HUGE bonus.

Today was shoulder demolition. Shoulders are my least favourite part to train but really enjoyed it today.

Energy:
No change here... Perfect as always, was so tired when i got up this morning at 5.45am, but as soon as i take that pre workout and get to the gym for around 6.45, (after a coffee, getting ready etc) im always amped and ready, no yawning at all.

Focus:
Perfect, my headphones broke today but that didnt stop the focus at all. In fact i may start training without them anyway as i want to compete in powerlifting and cant use them on the platform etc.

Pump:
Insane shoulder pump todat in all heads, one thing i do have to say is that shoulder day always brings an epic pump... So this really pushes it to another level.

Workout as follows:

Standing DB press:
35 x 10 (1 set)
45 x 8 (1 set)
55 x 8 (1 set)
70 x 5-6 (4 sets)

Side laterals:
25 x failure (4 sets)
25, 16, 10, 5 drop set to failure (2 sets)

Front raises:
Supernated grip.
75 x 10 (4 sets)

Rear delt:
Rear delt rows (barbell):
90 x 10 (4 sets)

Rear pec deck:
110 x 8 (4 sets)

Finished with the hardest exercise just as a change up :)

OHP:
155 x5 (3 sets)

So again another great day.

Thanks guys :)

So today was my heavy squat day.

Energy:
Again... Great. Don't get tired or lethargic at all using this considering by Friday I can barely open my eyes at 5.45am lol

Focus:
Amazing, had almost tunnel vision again today, nothing could distract me at all. Just stayed focused all the way through, people probably think I ignore them because I'm arrogant but in reality I love socialising... Just not on leg or back day haha.

Pump:
Insane shoulder pump todat in all heads, one amazing quad and ham pump, couldn't bend my legs at the end, had to just lie on the gym sofa to recover for 10mins.

Workout as follows:

Squats:

135 x10 (2 sets)
225 x 6 (1 set)
315 x 2 (1 set)
355 x 1 (1 set)
420 x 1 (1 set) this felt great... Heavy but great :)

Leg press:

440 x10 (4 sets)

Leg extensions:

200 x10 (3 sets)

Lying ham curls:

135 x10 (4 sets)

That's really it for leg day, nothing exciting as I'm just focussing on heavy singles currently.

This stuff just doesn't get old. I don't understand why I haven't built a tolerance yet? Oh well I'm not complaining :)

Sorry for there not being any updates the past 4-5 days guys.

1. Did something to a nerve in my back on Saturday so was out of commission until Monday.

2. Been working at my new house since Monday doing bits and bobs, my back wasn't bad enough to stop doing little things, just couldn't lift heavy.

I'll be back in the gym tomorrow as normal so will report back then :)

Thanks for your patience.

I too prefer legs over bench, but that may change as I progress. I stayed away from bench for also two years due to shoulder issues.

Have you tried a narrower grip? it keeps your shoulders and elbows tucked. Ever since I adopted this, I get no shoulder inflammation whatsoever

I am (slowly) changing over to more of a power lifting bench, and since converting I have had zero shoulder issues.
