My thanks to the reps for Controlled Labs for allowing me to log their new Energy, Endurance and Muscle Enhancer product called StimINO.

I'm a confessed stimulant lover and the only stim in this is caffeine. Based on the amount listed on the label, I'll be dosing it 2 scoops taken in a fasted state every morning. There is Betaine, Leucine and Taurine aminos in this as well. What I'm expecting is a nice pump, smooth energy and some endurance help.

Other supplements I'll be taking:
Glucosamine, Joint Help, Multivitamin, WPI and Fish Oil. Nothing else.

As of now here are my stats:
Height 5'6". Weight 160 lbs Age 54

Max Lifts Starting (Actual off cycle)
Machine Bench: 255 lbs
Machine Squat: 275 BB
Deadlift: 355
Machine Shoulder Press: 115

Workouts:
All my morning, fasted workouts are on a daily basis in my garage gym. They are generally 1 to 1.5 hours long and utilize combinations of an Ironmaster machine and free-weights.

Lately I've been using a One Lift A Day (OLAD) routine and train using a HR monitor to time when my HR returns to a point that I can begin the next set.

Feel free to post anything you'd like to motivate or make me do my best. If my weights for any lift seem "off" it might be due to incorrect form. Don't flame me (PM me instead) as I'm still learning. Welcome to my log!

Final review

Thanks Sean! I enjoyed StimINO and was very happy to run a whole tub. Here is my final review:

Mixing 8/10
This powder is so finely ground that it mixes easily. Just remember to swirl it, don't shake unless you want a foam mustache.

Taste 8/10
Two scoops in 10 oz water worked well.

Energy 8/10
The caffeine effect is smooth with 250 mg per two scoops. The recommended dose is 1 scoop but I needed the extra caffeine due to my high stim tolerance!

Pump 0/10
Sorry no pump action here.

Recovery and Endurance 8/10
Recovery and endurance allowed increased training volume. This was surprising to me and you have to love it when volume and weight increases consistently.

Recommendation
I recommend SimINO as a mildly stimed, amino acid based endurance supplemental preworkout. My only recommendation is to make this more cost competitive to other similar supplements.

First dose of StimINO for the morning workout was 2 scoops in 10 oz water (per max amount of water recommended on label). Shaking caused a little foam but it dissipated quickly. Next time I'll just swirl it. Everything dissolved with no residue.

Taste was just plain fruit punch. I didn't expect great taste with the aminos in this. Will try less water tomorrow.

In 30 mins I felt smooth energy. Remember that I'm very stim tolerant and 250 mg caffeine is "smooth" to me.

Lol I hate mid workout interruptions

My favourite is when my parents drop by and I don't hear the door (music way up during workout) so they use their key and walk in on me dripping sweat mid-lift.

Great lifting again, was initially (when you first started$ skeptical of OLAD but you make it work and clearly keep progressing!
