Hey Kids,

Back from a surprise hiatus, put on some bad weight, lost some good weight, lost some strength as well. I'm planning on using THE 1 from Oly(mpus) Labs, (see what I did there with my title?) to get my strength back, get back my lean, mean bulky machine. I've been training seriously for the last 5 years in my home gym, which those who have been around a while know was pretty sweet. Unfortunately I don't have that gym anymore, and due to we'll call them budget cuts, I have to work out at PF (make the best of what you got, right?) I've been able to get in some pretty good workouts lately, not what they used to be, but still pretty good. And I have a workout partner for the first time in almost a decade, so I've been able to push while getting back into the iron game.

Very excited to run THE 1, and I have to say Thank you to MrKleen73 edje007 g0hardorgohom Olympus Labs and Hyde (even though he's not an OL rep he did give me the nod.

6'1"
~202
BF ~14, 15ish?

Lift PR's
BB Bench 280 x 1
Squat 295 x 3
DL 425 x 1
OHP 135 x 3

Besides THE 1 I'll be using:
Multi 3x/day
An assortment of PWO's I've gathered over the last few months
Dymatize Elite XT Protein
Creatine Mono
Fish Oil (my joints get a little achy these days)
Other than that nothing frilly

My nutrition will be a ratio of approx. 50/30/10 with macros, I usuaully hit about 200 grams of protein on training days, sometimes more, but try to keep protein up, and drop carbs a bit on non training days. My training consists of 4 weeks high rep (12-15), 4 weeks low rep (5-6) alternating with supersetted splits, and I've been able to go 3 weeks without a rest before using my split, hopefully I can do that this month and take full advantage of my run.

Quads/Calves
Chest/Delts
Hams/Calves
Lats/Traps
Again, nothing fancy

PCT is already set:
D-Pol
Clom
Maca
OL SUP3R PCT
Beta-Sitosterol
DIM

Looking so forward to this, I can't tell you how much. Off we go!

Monday I got in a decent leg workout. I think I overdid it though. There were 2 "lollipops" there with absolutely NO legs what so ever and I tried to help them see what you're SUPPOSED to do by beating your legs down with heavy weights, and smashing your calves with tons of heavy reps. I don't think really got it though, they just continued on with their piss pour curls and way too heavy half rep lateral raises. The good news was that the cute chick behind the counter said she wished more guys worked their legs like I just did. :yup: It is Vermont though, so not many people around here really workout well. I'm still sore from that workout though, I guess was my point to that little diatribe.

So this is what I'm trying to get back to, if not bigger. This pic was taken a few months ago on vacation, before the "indecent".

If you've only been letting yourself go for a few months, you can def turn a lot around in 6wks if you're serious about it.

If that's true, I can't wait to see what happens since I have been doing well for like 7 months now!

Sweet! 2 doses down the hatch so far, about 7 hours apart. Going to hammer my legs after the kids go to bed tonight. Managed to get my garage sort of set up so I can still move some weight and beat my ass. I'll post my workout either tonight or tomorrow morning.

First workout was last night, did Quads and Calves. I managed to get some weights and my bar dug out from the garage, as well as move some things around so I could use my Smith machine. Ihaven't been able to use a barbell in almost 3 months (stupid PF), so I was little akward at first. Plus, I had to keep getting the bar up and over my head to do squats since my rack is BURIED. That limited my weight so I went for reps to keep my intensity up, and only rested for 45 seconds between sets.

BB Squats / Smith Machine Standing Calf Raises
135 x 12 / 135 x 20
135 x 12 / 135 x 20
155 x 12 / 145 x 18
155 x 12 / 145 x 17
135 x 12 / 145 x 15 - BW x 10

Smith Machine Squats / Smith Machine Standing Calf Raises
135 x 12 / 135 x 14 - BW x 8
135 x 10 / 135 x 14 - BW x 7

It may not look like much in print but I was busted after this. Getting more sore as the day goes on. Nothing to note on THE 1 yet, but it's only day one. I did note I'm going to have to get more cycle support given that the bottle has an 8 week supply and I only have 6 weeks of support currently. That's a pleasant surprise from OL though. :01:

Thanks MR. Kleen, but I'm far from my former "glory". And it WAS sweaty. It was weird doing squats in my driveway, but it was fun.
Yeah I understand the far from former glory. I am in that boat with you at the moment but that is going to change for both of is isn't it.

Unbury that rack & buy a cheap adjustable flatbench. If the rack is adjustable, you can lower it down & bench out of it too. So you can squat, pull, & overhead press & bench at your house, as well as do rows, curls, tri extensions, lunges, calf raises, split squats, floor presses, the oly lifts.

If you don't have a bench, forget the benchpressing & stick to overhead pressing. Strongmen don't really bench & they do just fine only pressing overhead. In summation: ditch that PF membership like a bad date. That place is NOT gonna be conducive to improving your training.

PF was my only choice for a while. I've been trying to rearrange things so I can get at my equipment. Unfortunately during the move stuff just got tossed into the garage without any forethought or organization. I'm getting there, but it's going to take a little bit. I'll get there though.
