Whaddup AM! Big thank you for @AthleticXtreme for selecting me to be a Beta tester for their new flavor of their pre-workout, Super Size!
I have not received the tub yet, but should be here any moment. So I decided to create my log in preparation and get this going.
I’m 5’5” and cutting from 156 and just hit 146 this morning in about 8 weeks of dieting. I’m dieting with a coach to get to 6-7% body fat to see how my body reacts to getting “stage lean,” then off on a 12-18 month slow reverse diet and gaining phase. Currently around 8-9%
Updates weekly from my coach, but tomorrow is an epic refeed day of 2,800 cals; 40F, 450C, and 150P. Normal days right now are 1,885 Cals; 45F, 200C, 180-200P. Weekly cardio is at 80 minutes worth.

What To Expect
I’ll be updating erryday, but I’ve never used Super Size or, to be honest, heard of Athletic Xtreme Supplements before so I don’t know what to expect! But I am excited the profile is pretty good. Heard good things about them from perusing a bit so let’s see! I give honest reviews, no bs here.
Today was just a core and cardio active recovery session, and tomorrow is my refeed day. There will be food porn in this log as well.

Thanks again for the opportunity to beta test Super Size! I’ll be honest, I never heard of Athletic Xtreme prior to this promo. Upon doing some research about the product I decided to throw and app in. It’s an impressive formula as well.
Coming fresh off a stim break, I was excited to get back into the pre workout game. Super Size was a great one to come to! It offered everything you could want from a pre, clean energy, no jitters, amazing pumps, and so on:
Delicious. Blue raspberry is one of my all time favorite for supplements, and AX nailed this one. 1 scoop in 4 oz of cold water, or 1.5-2 scoops in 6-8 oz of water is literally perfect. Mixability is also flawless for those of you who don’t want to use a shaker bottle.
Unreal pumps. Stupid pumps. Never used a Leucine nitrate formula before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Pull day was so much fun, veins everywhere in the biceps and got a couple “Bro, do you compete?” comments which is always nice
Good focus, better energy. The mind muscle connection isn’t stellar, but gets the job done. Energy wise, it’s a smooth, clean energy, nothing overpowering, even at two scoops. Could be a little stronger, but it does the job.
I found it to be best effective at 2 scoops, and I’m a smaller guy. So 45 servings really becomes 22.5 servings. A quick Google search and I find it for $27, so that’s not terrible. It’s a good product so I’d be willing to spend the coin. If one scoop does it for you, then you’re golden.
Would I recommend or Buy Again?: 5/5
Yes I would. I think it’s great for those fresh off a stim break or looking for something that’s less “stimmy.” Made that word up haha. But in all honesty it’s a great product and I think it makes upper body day that much more fun. Perhaps mixing it with half a scoop of a more powerful stim pre and this as the pump pre you would have an awesome combo on your hands. All in all, yes I would buy again, and yes I would recommend it to others. It’s a top 5 pre workout in my opinion.

Initial Review / Use
Soooo here we go:
Got 8 oz of water in a shaker cup and I opened the SuperSize
As you can see first dose is one full scoop packed nice and tight
Mixability: 5/5, look at that ish. In 10 seconds fully dissolved.
Initial Smell: delicious, 5/5. But no one buys these for smell... so I hope.
Initial Taste: 4/5. I love Blue Raspberry but this is a tad watered down at 8 oz. So tomorrow I'm going to try 6 oz.
About to head to the gym and crush legs
I gave my brother a scoop too, so we'll see what he says. He did 10 oz of water cause he didn't even read the directions lol, he said the same thing. A tad watered down, but a 4/5 for taste. Now to see what it does in the gym!!
all-time low, pooping like a mad man since going on Synthroid. Today I did legs, and I definitely think supersize should be dosed at 45 minutes out. Didn't really hit me until about 20 minutes into my workout, did awful on squats today to but im depleted from 2 weeks since my refeed.

Overall a pretty good workout, definitely picked it up after squats.
Scenes from my refeed for today, all postworkout:
Cellucor S'mores Muffins with Marshmallow Spread, 1 pint arctic zero with banana nut cheerios, 1 bag of cheddar and sour cream quest chips (Pretty effing good!), 5 rice cakes with cinnamon, and 2 S'mores waffles, topped with the ice cream!
Soooo im 6 days into Synthroid for the hypothyroid and im dropping weight like crazy. 148 when i starting, and woke up this morning 143.6.
A tad concerned to be honest, im seeing what my coach think i shojld do. I'm debating just starting the reverse diet her seeing what happens this week... Don't most competitors "grow into their shows"? Figured I'd still get leaner and since now I have no idea what my maintenance is and I guess id still be shredding fat? @The Solution wondering your thoughts since I know you have a coach and you've competed before.

Not all competitors grow into their show, some coaches like to diet hard into the show
Some like to get them ready early and then add food in to help with vascularity, holding size, and pump for on stage
Too much cardio to close to the stage may string the individual out and not be good.
But it just depends on the individual, how they look, and what works for them
My 2 peak weeks for my show were 100% Different with what I did
Word word. Yeah not competing yet. This was more an experiment to see how the process goes but the whole hypothyroid / Synthroid thing is contemplating stuff. Might be starting the reverse diet soon and seeing where my maintenance is now. I'm churning through food like nothing

Overall a great workout. 1.5 scoops was a great combo for energy and the pumps were pretty ridiculous. Can't wait to see it on a back day. Very focused. Didn't get tired either. Might try 2 scoops to gauge but 1.5 seems plenty at this point. Felt pretty strong too which is nice considering the large drop in weight since starting Synthroid.
Active recovery day today so just working on the rotator cuff and core. Then walking for about 30-45 minutes with some foam rolling and stretching as well. No super size for today
Weight stopped dropping thank god lol

Tuesday: Upper Power (Refeed)
Wednesday: Legs Hypertrophy
Thursday: Core / LISS (Drop Carbs 25-50g, Up Protein 25-50g)
Friday: Legs Power (Refeed)
Saturday: Push Hypertrophy
Except tomorrow will be a pull hypertrophy since I did cardio today
