First off thanks so much to the boys at EvoMuse for giving an old white woman a chance to log this product. ;). I am so excited to try this. I (like most women) have a hard time gaining some muscle size so I am hoping this will help.

A little about my workout\diet protocol:

I am currently running a GVT program found here:

German Volume Training for Shocking Muscle Growth | Muscle & Strength

So my split goes as follows:

Mon - Back, Bi's and abs, 20 min cardio
Tues - Cardio only - LSD run
Wed - Chest, Shoulders and Tri's, 20 min cardio
Thurs - Cardio only - sprints or tempo run
Fri - Legs, 20 min cardio
Sat and Sun - rest

I am currently eating at maintenance and am planning a mini cut beginning end of May (going to Vegas mid Aug). Maintenance for me is around 2000 cals. Macros I don't really pay too much attention to, but I make sure to get at least 130 grams of protein per day. The rest just falls where it may. I weighed as of Fri - 128lbs.

Supplements:

Ripped Freak pre w\o
Vitamin C - 2 grams per day
Biotin - 6 grams per day
Niacin - 1 gram per day
Vitamin D - 6 grams per day
Calcium - 3 grams per day

I may not continue with the pre w\o now that I have MyoSynergy. Would like to try this stand alone first before I add anything with it.

I train first thing in the morning, empty stomach, so MyoSynergy will be taken without food. Hoping this will not be an issue.

So without further ado - I took my first dose this morning even though today is a rest day. Nothing to report as of yet. I took it at 10 am and I usually have my first meal around 11. No issues so far.

There you have it, folks. If there is anything else I am missing or anything that anyone would like to see added, let me know.

Looking forward to this party.:)

Day 2 April 28th 2014

Thanks for following.:)

We're allowing Canadians to log MyoSynergy?

:)

LOL! Old white female Canadian at that.;)

Welcome.:)

So I popped all 8 caps about 45 min pre workout. Todays workout was Back, Bi and Abs:

Rack pulls - 155lbs
5*10
3*7
1*6
1*5

BB Curl - 50lbs
3*10
1*8
1*6
2*8
1*5
2*6

Decline Sit ups - 3*15
Oblique weighted side crunch 35lbs - 3*10

Cardio - 10 min on the stairmaster and 10 min on the crossramp.

I had a body fat analysis done at the gym this morning. I will have this done again at the end of my MyoSynergy run. Results:

WEIGHT - 128.6LBS
WEIGHT OF LEAN BODY MASS - 116.36LBS
WEIGHT OF BODY FAT - 12.24LBS
PERCENTAGE OF BODY FAT - 9.5%

This was done using the electronic impedance measure. I realize these things are not very accurate but it does give something to measure against.

As far as MyoSynergy - I have noticed over the last 2 days I have been extremely thirsty. I usually have a hard time getting in 3 litres of water daily. Yesterday I had at least 4...probably closer to 4 1\2 litres. Today I have had 3 1\2 litres and still drinking so I am guessing I will have another litre or so. I have also had a slight decrease in appetite. Could be just coincidence but I thought I'd note it anyway.

Day 3 April 29th 2014

Just a cardio day today. The weather here is still freezing so I have been running on the treadmill. LSD run today - 6.75 miles in 1 hour. This is my longest run in almost a year....I have been battling some injuries that hopefully have subsided. Anyway, I really felt great....felt like I could have kept going. last week I ran 6 miles and was pretty damn glad when I was done. This week - feeling awesome. MyoSynergy perhaps??

Day 4 and Day 5 April 30th and May 1st 2014

Wed workout - Chest, Shoulders and Tri's:

Cardio - 20 min stepmill

Bench - 89lbs
4*10
2*7
1*5
1*6
2*5

DB OHP - 25lbs
3*10
1*8
2*9
2*8
1*7
1*8

Tri Press VBar - 70lbs
10*10

Thurs - cardio only - sprints:

1\4 mile @6.5mph
1\4 mile@8mph
1\[email protected]
1\[email protected]
1\[email protected]
1\[email protected]
1\[email protected]
1\4@9
1\[email protected]
1\4@9
1\[email protected]

3.5 miles total - 31:09

A couple of things:
- thirsty all the time
- appetite slightly decreased
- endurance seems to be better than normal
- veins popping during\after yesterday's workout.:)

Thats about all I have noticed so far, but its still early days. Most of the other loggers have noticed an increase in DOMS....I have not had that effect. Not sure if that is a bad sign or not. Tommorrow is leg day and I always have major DOMS a day or 2 later, so interested to see what happens...

Day 6 May 2nd 2014

I'm following.. Love that there's a bunch of people starting MyoSynergy around the same time!

-Matt
Thanks for stopping by.:)

Today was leg day:

Squats - 95lbs
9*10
1*7

SLDL - 100lbs
3*10
4*8
3*7

DB Calf Raise - 50lbs each hand
5*20

cardio - 20 min treadmill 8%, 4mph

I take weekends off from training but dosing won't change - all 8 caps first thing in the morning. I have been reading other threads and some are splitting the dose - 4 am, and 4 pm before bed. Is there a benefit to dosing that way on off days?

Fri is typically a weigh in day - if I choose to. Today I did and was surprised to see 126.2....interesting...

-weight is dropping even though I am at maintenance.
-endurance elevated especially during cardio

Bench - 89lbs
4*10
1*8
1*7

3*7

last week I was barely able to squeak out 5 reps on the last few sets.....progess.

1*9 ***

***struck up a conversation with another girl who was training.....chatted too long...probably 5 min rest.

Day 13 May 9th 2014

Legs today:

Cardio - 10 min stairmaster

Squats - 95lbs
10*10...:) Wohoo!! Been working on getting all 10 for weeks!

SLDL - 100lbs
4*10
3*8
3*7

DB Calf Raise - 50lbs
2*20 - toes straight
2*15 - toes in
2*12 - toes out

125.2 lbs this morning - down about 3 lbs since the start of this log. Food intake has not changed, no additional cardio....this is interesting to me, since I am pretty sure that weight loss is not supposed to happen. Could be just a fluke, but worth mentioning.

I am still dosing all 8 caps first thing pre workout. I know some loggers are splitting the dose - 1\2 pre workout, 1\2 pre bed. Any benefit to doing that?

Day 16 May 12th 2014

Back, Bi's and Abs today:

BB Row - 80lbs
10*10

10*10

Hanging Leg Raise - legs straight
3*10

Hip Ups
3*12

Russian Twists
10K - 6,5,4
5K - 2*12

Nothing new to report. Yesterday being Mothers Day, was a nutritional disaster. A gazillion calories consumed. Meh, not sweating it....back to regularly scheduled programming today. This week's weigh in should be interesting.

LOL!! I certainly enjoyed it, thats for sure. Wishing I'd had some Defuse left though. Although I was feeling good this morning, no bloat or sluggishness from all the junkie stuff.

Run day today - 7 miles in 63 minutes....felt great!

Rewarding myself with a nice glass of merlot with my dark chocolate oatmeal bake.

Bench - 89lbs

1*7
1*6

Day 20 and 21 - May 16th and 17th 2014

Yesterday was leg day:

Cardio - 20 min treadmill, Incline 8%, 4mph

Squats - 111lbs
3*10
2*8
3*6
1*5
1*3

HS Leg Curl - 55lbs
10*10

DB Calf Raise - 50lbs
6*20

Today and tomorrow are rest days.:)

Week 3 update:
-thirst is at an all time high, easily drinking a gallon+ of liquids
-no increase in appetite...still slightly decreased, never really hungry, but never really full either....if that makes sense.
-I had not had any increase in DOMS ......until a few days ago. Did Tri's on Wed.....Thurs they were very sore and tender. And almost immediately following leg training yesterday, I could feel pain setting in.:) Got progressively worse as the day went by, today much worse.....but in a good way..:)
-weight is down from the beginning - started at 128 and as of yesterday 125....
-significant increase in endurance, especially cardio.
-muscles are looking full and hard..

Still dosing the full 8 caps pre w\o. On rest days pre breakfast. Any reason to split the dose as some loggers are doing?

So far, I am really enjoying this product. I think this could be a staple year round...bulk, cut, recomp or maintenance.:) Any reason why this would need to be cycled?

Somehow I missed this, great log so far. FWIW I did not see the type of Doms everyone else talks about yet. Increased, but not exponentially. Biggest changes for me are endurance, leaning effect, and full muscle bellies.

I did not notice any change in DOMS until about the 3 week mark. But it is not unbearable like some are reporting. I agree on the endurance and leaning effects though...definitely happening here.:)

Yesterday -
Cardio Day::::

LSD run on the treadmill - 7.5 miles in 65 min...speeds from 6.7-7.8mph. Running a half marathon in Aug - I better get the hell outside for my runs soon. Kinda scared to hit the pavement - still nursing a quad injury from last year. Treadmill running I do okay, but hard surfaces seem to aggravate it. But I better start soon....even a couple of miles to start would be ok..

Today-
Chest, shoulders and Tris today. Was not feeling GVT so I winged it today:

Cardio - 20 min Crossramp

DB Bench Press
20lbs*25
25lbs*25
30lbs*15
35lbs*13
40lbs*8
45lbs*5
50lbs*3

Incline DB Press
20lbs*20
25lbs*18
30lbs*11
35lbs*8
40lbs*5
45lbs*0 - could not get these bad boys up...tried 3 times and gave up.

DB Shoulder Press
20lbs*18
25lbs*10
30lbs*8
35lbs*4

BB Upright Row
30lbs*20
40lbs*10
50lbs*8
60lbs*5

OH Tri Ext
25lbs*15
30lbs*10
35lbs*6
40lbs*3

And done.

What type of trainers will you be running in?
I always train in these babies:
https://www.google.ca/search?q=gel+nimbus+14+-+blue\pink&tbm=isch&imgil=1PmK6Gwcv6-MoM%3A%3Bhttps%3A%2F%2Fencrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AANd9GcR8OfGBkWh2cgWzTWhDkK62axfRmaU_3JwE79ntba9qDdpZE8ve%3B255%3B255%3B39qG8HqpfbpfOM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.finishline.com%252Fstore%252Fproduct%252Fwomen-s-asics-gel-nimbus-14%253FproductId%25253Dprod722235&********iu&usg=__p_PLYtuZD4ymX2D1Y502ChiSgXQ=&sa=X&ei=m4V-U4q4D4eS8AHN5YHQAw&ved=0CDoQ9QEwAA&biw=1093&bih=479#facrc=_&imgdii=f-Elno_gdZChDM:;kMEZDVs0FMDHOM;f-Elno_gdZChDM:&imgrc=f-Elno_gdZChDM%3A;muu0rTa5xBzd4M;http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mmicupue.com%2Fimages%2Fws%2F542451%2Fxlt291q480_06.jpg;http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mmicupue.com%2Fwomens-asics-gelnimbus-14-light-bluewhitepink-p-1792%2F;510;510

Been wearing this brand for 4 years.....tried to run in a couple of other brands, but no dice. These are the bomb! Pricey but so worth it.

Today was sprints day:

6 - 1\4 mile intervals at 9.5mph

Total mileage - 3.5 miles in 30 min.

Tomorrow I am having the first of a 2 part minor surgery, so no gym.
Means I didn't train legs this week...
I guess the 2 hard runs this week will have to suffice. Then on to something new on Monday. Was going to take a 1 week break but I am feeling okay, so I'll ride it out. Was also going to start a cut next week too. Not feeling that, either.

Day 36 June 1st 2014

Sundays are normally a rest day, but my 6 yr old wanted to go hit the trail for a bike ride. So I ran while he biked. Just a small 5K but it felt good to get outside running instead of the treadmill. No hip or quad pain afterwards so thats a good sign.

I have 2 days worth of Myosynergy left, so will give a final review Wed.:)

Awesome workout! I feel like I am just hitting my stride after 4 weeks of Myosynergy. Loving the cumulative effects on strength and endurance. The bad news is I only have 1 day left. I will be placing an order for more but there will be a break in between bottles. Hoping strength and endurance don't slide back...

Final Review

First off a big thanks to all the boys at EvoMuse for selecting this old white lady to log this product.:) I had high expectations for this as all other EvoMuse products that I have used, I have loved. So without further ado here we go:

-just to note that I dosed all 8 caps at once pre workout, empty stomach.
-first few weeks I was extremely thirsty. Easily drank a gallon or more of water daily. Toward the end of the run, this seemed to level off where I was satisfied with about 21\2 to 3 litres.
-no increase in appetite at all. At the start appetite was actually slightly diminished. Also should note that I did not change cals\macros throughout the log.
-No increase in DOMS until a couple of weeks in, but nothing that was unbearable. This last week DOMS back to normal.....weird?
-weight is down from the beginning - started at 128 and as of today after 38 days weight is 122. Pretty sure this was not supposed to happen?
-significant increase in endurance, especially cardio. Rest between sets was minimal - usually I need a at least 60 secs..
-muscles are looking full and hard, veins popping everywhere.

If there is anything that I have missed or anything that needs clarified let me know. I had BF testing done at the beginning of this log, and I will have another done this Fri. Will add to this review with those results. Can't wait to see the numbers.

This will absolutely be a staple in my arsenal. I was in a maintenance phase for this cycle, but I can't wait to try this in the fall when I start a full on bulk again. I think with increased calories this product will really shine.....based on this cycle I think fat gains would be minimal, and muscle gains will absolutely be optimized.:) I am going to stay at maintenance , maybe a slight cut for the summer....will be placing an order this week.:)

BF testing done today:

START:
WEIGHT - 128.6LBS
WEIGHT OF LEAN BODY MASS - 116.36LBS
WEIGHT OF BODY FAT - 12.24LBS
PERCENTAGE OF BODY FAT - 9.5%

END:
WEIGHT - 124.4LBS
WEIGHT OF LEAN BODY MASS - 113.75
WEIGHT OF BODY FAT - 10.65LBS
PERCENTAGE OF BODY FAT - 8.6%

So there you have it folks. Keep in mind that these numbers are based on my eating at caloric maintenance. Interested to see what would happen in a surplus. Order has been placed for more. I will be doing a slight cut from Mid June til Mid Aug, then will do a bulk from mid Aug til probably around next April - Mayish. This will definitely be a staple for me:)
