Hey guys, just won the promo to log the new cherry limeade stimul8.

I'm just making the thread for now, I will start reviewing it once it comes in.

    Stay tuned.

    Here's my final review:

Here's the final scale, provided by the judgment day.

    My flavor was cherry limeade

1)This product was easy to mix and I enjoyed the taste... 5/5

When I mixed this in a shaker there's nothing left. No excessive foam, no chunks stuck to the side, nothing.
I will say that when I used a spoon / cup, I had a tiny bit of sediment at the bottom.
Seeing as everyone has a shaker, and how well it mixes in a shaker, I still give it a 5/5

As for the taste, I was blown away. It was absolutely refreshing and I really enjoyed sipping it on the way to the gym.
So many pres these days taste terrible, and I throw the scoop dry into my mouth, and chase with water. With stimul8 I didn't like to do this, I felt cheated out of the flavor.
    Easily 5/5 here

    2) This product was a great source of clean energy/good mood... 5/5

The mood enhancement was the first thing I noticed with stimul8.
Driving to the gym with a huge smile on my face, loving life. As I got towards the end of the tub this was not as noticeable as originally, but still there.

The pick up on stimul8 was really smooth, never felt "rushed" or anything like that, just cool, calm, and focused. The come down was really easy as well, I noticed no crash.

    3) This product helped me power through my training sessions... 5/5

I had plenty of energy to get thru all my sessions and move quickly. I felt great while training, love being at the gym.

    4) This product enhanced my mental focus...5/5

Hands down where this product shines most. I had laser focus and determination. I haven't gotten that great of focus from a pre in a while.

I even used this to keep me sharp at work all night long- practically every night I had to work. Really did help, and I'd recommend it just for that, even if you didn't lift.

    5) This product had great thermogenic effects...5/5

    Drenched.
I'd do prehab and already be sweating profusely.
    Cotton shirts = no go

    6) I really enjoyed this product and would recommend it to friends and family... 5/5

Actually, a few people asked me about thermogenics, so I let them try a half scoop of stimul8... When you only use a half scoop at a time, you can afford to lend a few scoops out. So yeah, I already have recommended it, and will so again.
If that sale is still going I might end up just grabbing more of this stuff.

I must say I started with less than a half and now I use roughly a half scoop, maybe slightly more. I'm going to try 3/4 tomorrow and report back.

    Rating Scale: 1 - 5 (5 being highest)

    5/5 overall

Loved it. Would recommend it, will use it again.

I think it got mailed today.

I'm not going to update my training in detail here, (unless you want me to.)
Otherwise I'll continue to update it per usual in my regular training log.

I just intend to comment on the effects of the supplement here. Day by day.
I also have the final review scale posted up on my first post. I'll use that after I have completed my tub.. Or if I stick with half a scoop, at least halfway thru the tub, because at half a scoop the tub will last indefinitely.

yeah whatever you want to do ace - if you want to stick to just the specific effects of the product that's cool..if you want to post up some training notes that's cool too..do what you want to do
some folks who may not be following your other log, may be curious as to how you train, but that's totally up to you whether you want to share

I am currently following John Meadows reactive pump program, (just like everyone else on this forum). I tend to take my time warming up but once I get rolling with my working sets my rest is usually only enough time for my training partner to hit his set.

Here's my last few training sessions, quoted from my log. The only thing that will change is that once I get stimul8 I'll use it inplace of alphamine, so that I can better gauge it's thermogenic and leaning effects.

Four rounds of each super set, as usual

Eight sets of eight stand calf ss dorsiflexion

    Hanging leg raise 4x15

already a bit leaner from the two added cardio sessions, Idk if I commented on that.

    Suppdate:
Using alphamine on off /low carb days, so about three times weekly.

Everything else is the same, only sups are Karbolyn (soon to be glycofuse), amino iv, and various pres

Used 45# plates working more of the top half of the range of motion. Focused on being explosive. I have a vid from the top set.

After looking at it I think i could have sat back a tiny bit more. My head looks a little cranked, i think that's from the hoody, but that shouldn't be so bad either.
    Anything else guys?

Narrow stance leg press super set with leg extensions
    6px20 // 15
    6p+25 x 15// 15
    7p+25 x 10 // 15
    8p x 8 // 15

the letter P represents the number of 45lb plates per side.
Focusing on slow eccentric, controlled concentric up to 3/4 lockout. Constant tension
The extensions were focused on the bottom half of the movement. Deep stretch, explode up to 3/4 lockout, slow negative.

    Leg press ss leg extension
    6p x 4 x 10 // 15

    with thirty second quad stretches.
The leg press was done wide frog stance. bringing down to the safety pins, pausing on the pins, and exploding off of them.
Leg extensions were done with the top half of the movement, focusing on flexing the quads.

These 8 sets blew my quads up. It was painful.

    Lunge
    30# kb per arm x 10 steps per leg x 3 sets

Did these one leg at a time.

rumble roll medial delt, rear delt, triceps, lats, pecs

    One arm supinating cable row
    3x15

This wasn't anything hard, nor was it prescribed by John. I just wanted a pump in my lats before i pressed. It helps my irritated shoulders.

    DB flat press
    30x2x20
    55x8
    65x8
    75x8
    85x8
    95x8,11, 10

Constant tension. Worked up to a hard eight then did AMRAP for two more sets.

    Incline BB press

    135x6

    185x6
    195x6

    135 +2c x 5
    115 +2c x 4 sets x 5 reps

The 135 wasn't as fast as I wanted it to be. So I bumped it down to get faster reps.

I need to rig the chains a little better, but oh well. Critique?
I've been struggling with being consistent in my setup.

    stretch pushups

    with 30second pec stretch

    DB rear delt fly
    25x4x15

    DB lateral raise

    Cage press
    bar x 5
    95 x 5
    105 x 5
    115 x 3 x 5

As you can see I tend to use a ton of feeder sets for my pressing. I've had a minor pec tear before and I like to make sure everything feels "right" before going up quickly.

Didn't put any weight on the prowler. It has rubber pads on the bottom of the skis, and I'm pushing it over turf with a ton of rubber chunks in it. that plus no grip wrestling shoes makes it a bitch.

if it's warmer out I'll use the regular prowler on the concrete with roughly 150lbs on it.

I threw some chalk on the floor, it helped just enough that my feet weren't sliding.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a video. I'm bummed because the last set wasn't pretty. It'd have been nice to see where it went wrong, and to also show you guys the brand new mono.

No worries about the delay guys. I have plenty of pre workouts for the mean time.
A half tub of enhanced and a half tub of Jack3d micro.
I'm sure it'll show up soon.
Anyway here's my last two updates.

pause 1"off chest, explode to 3/4 lock out. Real slow negative

    Flat chain bench
    135+2 chain/side x4 sets x5 reps

    Pause on chest, explode up
Moved my grip in on these and they flew off my chest, ring finger on rings.

    Tri set:
    A) DB hex press x8
    B) pec minor dip xfailure
    C) regular dip x failure

Regular dips were done out of the stretch position, only coming up halfway. Did three rounds of this my chest had a sickening pump

    DB rear delt fly
    25x20
    25x20 +10 swing
    25x20 +20 swing

    Rear Delts were blown up

    Six ways
    10lb x3 x10

    Cage press
    115x4x5

Moved my grip in on these also and they really flew up, about a thumb away from the smooth.

    Lever 2x5
    Hanging leg raise 2x10
Wood chopper super set pallof press 3x10

I gotta say I'm disappointed this program is almost over. It's been one of my favorite Meadows programs with all of the chain./explosive work.

    Tuesday
    525c

Tomorrow will be conditioning and mobility only, with lower carbs and higher fats

Was down three pounds from last Monday to this Monday.
Although it was mostly being water weight, I could tell my lever felt more loose than usual as well.

After checking my weight today from Mondays carb up I was only down 1-1.5 lbs total. So I'm leaning up but very slowly.

Took one half scoop, it mixed well.

    It tasted great too.

This may be placebo, but I took it maybe five minutes ago and I feel a cool, calm focus.

Thanks for the shaker too, guys.

I'll update after training as well.

I only took half a scoop today.

The first thing I noticed was the calm focus. I had plenty of energy to train, but I wasn't all hyped up.

    I really liked that.

I'm looking forward to trying out 3/4 -1 scoop tomorrow.

I'll be doing some back hypertrophy and speed benching, along with the bandell bar.

    Here's today's training

    Anyway, here's todays leg training.

    Standing leg curl 3x20
    Three different toe angles

Leg press one set forty or so reps

    SSB parallel box squat
    work up
    245x2 sets x6 reps
    335x4x3

Was going to stick to two plates but my brother wanted to toss on another, and my speed was good, so whatever

    Ghr
    Bodyweight x5
    Band assisted x3x5

    Really slow negatives

    Reverse hyper 100x3x10

    One set B.Pak calves

That quick hit was definitely not placebo. If I'm more then ten minutes away from the gym when I Stimul8 I'm gonna get side tracked....most likely kicking ass and taking names

Agree with monte. No placebo at all. Quick calm focus with lasting energy and thermo.

Took a little less than a scoop before conditioning today.

Not sure if it was the humidity or the stimul8 but I was seating like a hog

I think next time before conditioning I'll try just a half scoop, this was pretty strong stim wise.

    I'm really digging this flavor.
I don't drink most of my pre, I'll just throw Scoop in my mouth. But I enjoy drinking this on the way to the gym.
I give it a few shakes, let it sit a second, and it's mixed really well.

Anyway here's my training the last two days

Elbows flared, holding contraction at top

    Flat BB bench
    Bar x6
    135x2x6
    185x5 sets x3 reps

Just playing around with grip and bar path like herder was talking about.
I think either ring fingers or pinkies on the ring is fastest for me.
    Anyways, it needs more practice.

1/2" PVC pipe (bandell bar) bench

Hanging two ten lb kettle balls and one fifteen per side with red mini bands

    3x15

These felt great. I love them.

    DB incline
    55x3x15

    Monkey bar pullups
    Bw x 7,6,6,7

Focusing on keeping the sternum arched.
Kept everything light today, no stain no hard sets really.

Trying to be better about my deload week.

Anyway if you're not in my stimul8 log, I've really enjoyed it these first two days.

One cup white, two whole eggs, mixed with onion, pepper, and a tiny bit of pepper jack cheese
