Recomping with Follidrone/Other Goodies (Unsponsored)

Hello everyone. This log was initially going to be a cutting log but I am going for a recomp instead in order to fill my goals of maintaining strength and increasing conditioning. I follow a 3 day a week, full body program consisting of the big main lifts and some small assistance. I'll be squatting for volume/technique as opposed to maximum intensity, and be also doing Hill Sprints as well post workout. I am 24, 5'11, and 198 lbs at the start of this log. Here's my supplement stack:

SNS Creatine (5g mixed with Protein only on workout days)
Controlled Labs Orange Triad
Evomuse Sleephoria (1 cap 30 minutes before bed, started on Week 3, Day 1 of this Log)

PES Norcodrene (1 cap pre-workout)
PES Alpha T2 (1 cap pre-workout, 2 caps 6 hours later)
Nimbus Nutrition Reform (2 caps pre-workout, 2 caps 4 hours later)
Omega Sports Burn24 (2 caps before each meal, 6 total)
Black Lion Research Follidrone (2 caps pre-workout)

My calories will be between 2600-2900, with macros of 160-200g Protein, 80-100g Fat, and the rest filled in with Carbs.

Week 1 Effects:
- Gained 3 lbs (201 lbs)
- More definition/looking leaner
- More endurance
- Better recovery
- Slightly increased libido

Week 2 Effects:
- Great endurance (either through muscular or nervous fatigue, because I'm barely taking breaks and still pulling off sets I couldn't do before and I don't feel mentally drained)
- Strong pumps (comparable to when I stacked ArA/Anabeta/Hemavol)
- More definition (I have been eating recomp style calories and my back/lower mid section/arms are becoming more defined.)
- Body weight increase has stopped (I'm sitting at 203 right now, up from 198 all the way back at the beginning of the log)

Week 3 Effects:
- Great endurance
- Increase in top-end strength (could be indirectly or directly related to increased endurance)
- Great Pumps

Week 4 Effects:
- Deload Week

Week 5 Effects:
- Pretty much the same thing as always. Great endurance and I feel like I can squeeze out more top-end reps
- Pumps are strong

Week 6 Effects:
- Pretty much the same thing as all of the other weeks. I don't think this is a supplement that needs "saturation". It seems to work right away and work constantly.

Week 7 Effects:
- Good volume. At a lighter weight my strength still remains strong.

Week 8 Effects:
- Deload week.

I'm excited myself. I feel like I'm in the zone where I may not see results because I'm relatively young and I'm cutting.

NP FedEx tracking says it'll come in by this Friday, but this week is my deload week so I'm not sure if I should start dosing it or not.

Shipment is coming in today. This is my deload week but I might be able to benefit from Follidrone since I plan on doing some conditioning work this week.

Alright so I've been inactive for 5 days now (deload week) and I couldn't wait to start Follidrone so I just started today.

Pre-workout Stuff:
1 Norcodrene
1 Alpha T2
2 Reform
2 Follidrone

Current Body Weight: 198 lbs

Today was heavy benching day, but still full body style workout. Ever since I started the cut + conditioning was added into my routine, my endurance hasn't been too hot lately and I can only do the planned reps for my worksets. Today was a little different, but I don't know if I can give Follidrone credit yet since I just started today. I treat Squats as assistance and try to focus on speed/volume over maximum intensity because I don't think I could keep up doing max intensity squats + hill sprinting. The basic idea is that I do as many reps as possible on the last set of whatever the day is emphasizing. Next session will be Deadlifts/OHP/Squats, then after that, I will emphasize Pendlay Rows over Bench Press.

Bench Press:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
155 x 5
170 x 5
185 x 5
195 x 7

Barbell (Pendlay) Row:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
155 x 5

Squats:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5

I then drove to my house and did some hill sprints (around 40-60 yards long). I was able to do it 5 times which isn't too bad considering I am not really conditioned yet. We will see as time goes on how Follidrone effects this too, because I hear it increases endurance and minimizes CNS fatigue.

Hello everyone. In preparation for summer, for both vanity/sports (basketball/football) I plan on cutting. I've already started the cut about 1.5 months ago. I primarily do full body strength/power training 3 days a week in one month cycles (volume week/strength week/power week/deload week). I follow an intermittent fasting approach because of convenience. I am also trying to condition myself, so I have lowered all of my training maxes a considerable amount until I know I can actually handle both the conditioning and the strength training. When I started cutting, I just had the basic supplements, but about a week ago I started a cutting stack. I ordered 2 bottles of Follidrone during the pre-sale and plan on running it for 8 weeks so in the end, this is going to be my total stack: SNS Creatine (5g mixed with Protein only on workout days) Controlled Labs Orange Triad PES Norcodrene (1 cap pre-workout) PES Alpha T2 (1 cap pre-workout, 2 caps 6 hours later) Nimbus Nutrition Reform (2 caps pre-workout, 2 caps 4 hours later) Omega Sports Burn24 (2 caps before each meal, 6 total) Black Lion Research Follidrone (2 caps pre-workout) As of right now, I do not have Follidrone yet but I've been using the stack for about a week and I can say that Norcodrene/Alpha T2 have amazing appetite suppression and smooth energy. This stack also puts me in a pretty good mood, and I can't tell if it is Norcodrene or if it's the Relora in Nimbus Nutrition Reform. I've cut down a bit of fat already because I've lowered my cals/carb intake particularly. Since I know how this stack is effecting me I will be able to make any confirmations as to what Follidrone may be doing for me. This week is deload week so by the time Follidrone comes in I should be ready to post up some strength results to see if I can retain/gain strength while on a caloric deficit. I am 24 so I will see if Follidrone is effective for people around my age. I'm currently 198 lbs (down 6 lbs from when I finished ArA/Anabeta) and I'm aiming to hit around 185 lbs if I'm lucky. We'll see though because I hear people have already been gaining weight on Follidrone.
I'm using it on a cut as well

Can't wait to see results. It's been like 2 days

Just started it today. I was able to blast through my workout without feeling dead at the end. I wonder how I'm going to feel tomorrow though....

I plan on upping my calories now that I am doing conditioning work. Probably aiming for 2700-2900 calories. The usual macros are ~180g protein, ~90g fats, and I fill the rest in with carbs.

Feeling slightly sore from yesterday (not as sore as I thought I would get). I got ~2800 calories in and I plan on keeping it around 2700-2900 calories through the log, because I've decided I am just going to recomp so I can actually see the benefits of Follidrone. I am going to follow the label instructions on off days, which means I plan on dosing 1 as soon as I wake up and 1 cap three hours later.

Whew. Crazy session today. I guess the gym I go to hasn't adjusted to the random temperature spike so it was pretty damn hot in the gym today. Anyways, today was Deadlift/Military Press day. I noticed increased endurance during my sets because once again, my breaks were not as long (although I probably should have took longer breaks because I was sweating like crazy and maybe the heat was effecting me), and hopefully like the other loggers, I notice better recovery, but I guess we can see how I feel tomorrow.

Deadlift:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
255 x 5
275 x 5
290 x 5

Military Press:
65 x 5
95 x 5
105 x 5
115 x 5
125 x 5

Squats:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5

Since it is a weekday and I workout before I go to work, I'll be doing hill sprints later on in the day although I don't know if the effects of Follidrone will be there since it'll be pretty far from the workout. I'm hoping Follidrone has a cumulative effect as opposed to just an immediate preworkout effect.

Well surprisingly enough, I don't feel mildly drained/sore like I usually do after my volume deadlifting days. I like it. Is it the follidrone? I'd like to think so since this is the only thing that has changed so far. Anyways, day 4 of Follidrone is an off day so I'll just be following label instructions and aiming for ~2700 calories today.

Yup. I'm hoping that it helps with my strength/endurance during my AMRAP sets during the later parts of my routine. My best recent 3RM's (during my previous month of cutting and stuff) for my main lifts right now are as following:

Deadlift: 315 x 3
Bench Press: 215 x 3
Overhead Press: 135 x 3
Barbell Row: 175 x 3

So in two weeks we'll so how things compare (either I'll be lifting more weight or I'll be lifting similar weights for more reps, hopefully). I'll be keeping cals up at a recomp level instead of cutting level, so I am hoping to see solid changes in body comp/strength.

Day 5 of Follidrone. Decent workout. This workout I noticed a better pump than before similar to when I was on Hemavol/X-Gels/Anabeta, but this could be because I am taking shorter rests during sets. I used to take 3-5 minute rests between most of my sets and now I am taking 1-3 minute rests. Either way it equates to endurance.

Bench Press:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
160 x 5
185 x 5

Barbell (Pendlay) Row:
95 x 5
115 x 5
140 x 5
155 x 5
165 x 6

Squats:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5

Weather is better today so I'll be off to do hill sprints later on.

Other non-workout related effects for now include slightly increased libido, and oddly enough, I am having trouble sleeping for a full 5-6 hours now. I keep sleeping 2 hours, then waking up, then sleeping another 2 hours, etc. I don't know if this is Follidrone or something else though...but it only started when I started taking Follidrone.

Day 8 of Follidrone and this time it's strength week. I totally killed it today in the gym. If this is placebo, this is the best placebo I've ever had. Today is full body day, with focus on Bench Pressing.

Bench Press:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
155 x 5
185 x 4
195 x 4
210 x 5

Pendlay Row:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
145 x 5
155 x 5

Squats:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5

As you can see, my previous absolute weight max last mesocycle was 215 x 3, and last weeks PR was 195 x 7. Today it was 210 x 5. I did take my normal rest patterns instead of rushing through my sets like I did last time I tried to go for a Bench PR, but either way, this stuff is looking great. The bar speed wasn't the fastest towards the last 3 reps of 210, but it's a huge jump from 195. Also I haven't been logging it too specifically, but my sprint conditioning is much better then last week. I can do around 15 hill sprints now when I could only do 5 before (but that could just be neuroadaptation since I had zero conditioning attempts before last week). Either way....best placebo ever? I was a little worried since I heard this stuff works better in older people (and I'm only 24). Also, body weight is 203 up from 198 when I first started this. Calories have been "recomp" calories instead of cutting though (~2700-2900)

There are dozens of logs up. Its not placebo because 100% of users are seeing changes.
Several guys gaining weight with no cal increase. The body doesnt gain weight via placebo.
I was starting to think maybe the big increases I saw in testing were placebo but now Ive seen them repeated in logs.
This makes me happy because After all the bickering from non believers the logs tell the tale of truth.
Its validation :)

A couple of other loggers are saying they cant believe whats happening but they cant deny it.

Alright. Today I did not fair so well, but this is probably due to the 2 hours of sleep I had last night. Not sure why I feel restless before training days (more specifically, deadlifting days). This session could have been tragic, but for the most part it went well. I ended up not finishing my AMRAP set of Deadlifts and avoided Squats all together because I literally had no focus and could feel my form going to crap. I'd rather not snap my back and live to fight another day.

Deadlift:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
275 x 4
285 x 4
305 x 1 --> failed set (was supposed to be 305 x 4+)

Military Press:
65 x 5
75 x 5
95 x 5
115 x 4
125 x 4
130 x 4

Cable Machine Face Pulls:
40 x 12
40 x 12
40 x 12

Yes, I ended up doing some random Face Pulls to try to make up for the failed deadlifting portion of my workout, and plus, I think I need to start working on my upper back more anyway because it feels like it's crumbling under the heavier deadlifting. My last month's max was 315 x 3 for deadlifts so I'm not too concerned with the failed workout today. I had more volume/heavier worksets before the final pull, but my concentration/energy/focus wasn't there. Overhead Press did not suffer at all, thankfully, but then again, pressing movements don't really seem to drain my energy much. Overall, this poor performance was probably due to lack of sleep (which is doubly terrible since I've upped my conditioning.)

This kind of stuff makes me wish I had a sleep aid so I could use it when I feel restless.

Growth Factor XT has been nice on cycle for my sleep. That or some powdered phenibut does the trick for me. Or megadosed Melatonin but then I wake uup the next day groggy as fuark

Hope you figure it out man, that sucks :/
I was looking at EvoMuse Sleephoria or SNS Growth Factor XT mainly.

The strongest/best sleep aid I have used (and U have used just about all of them now) was REM 8.0

I keep it on hand for stressful or long days where I know I would otherwise sleep like crap.
Because of its dosing protocol though it cant be used consistently so I use

http://www.orbitnutrition.com/cart/finaflex-g8-20-servings.html

Best of all the big ones around for me. I say for me because sleep aids seem particularly user dependant. Some of them got me wired staring at the ceiling all night.

I've used the following:

Nimbus Nutrition Abyss Unparalleled
iForce Lights Out

Lights out really did knock me out, but I woke up drowzy/groggy. Abyss Unparalleled was good, but I felt like it lost effectiveness towards the second bottle. But I never woke up groggy. I also prefer capped sleep aids

Today was a good session as expected. I switched it up and added some more small assistance to take advantage of the increased endurance. I even did some pause reps for my bench press since I was benching light today.

Pendlay Row:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
155 x 4
170 x 5

Bench Press:
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
155 x 5
185 x 5 --> All with 3 second pauses at the bottom

Squats:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5

Standing Cable Face Pulls:
40 x 12
40 x 12
40 x 12

Got crazy chest pumps thanks to the pause reps and noticing the same typical effects. Good endurance throughout the workout. Solid PR for Pendlay Rows today because this lift is the slowest improving of mine next to Overhead Press.

Week 2 Overall Effects:
- Great endurance (either through muscular or nervous fatigue, because I'm barely taking breaks and still pulling off sets I couldn't do before and I don't feel mentally drained)
- Strong pumps (comparable to when I stacked ArA/Anabeta/Hemavol)
- More definition (I have been eating recomp style calories and my back/lower mid section/arms are becoming more defined.)
- Body weight increase has stopped (I'm sitting at 203 right now, up from 198 all the way back at the beginning of the log)

This is pretty good considering its one compound. Pump recomp weight gain. If you look more defined its likely you lost some fat so the weight increase was likely more in reality.

Just picked up some Evomuse Sleephoria for dirt cheap. Going to try it at 1 cap a day throughout the entire bottle (as I hear dosing more/too much can sometimes lead to restlessness). My next training day is this Sunday, but I have a big weekend in Atlantic City so hopefully all the partying doesn't trash my recovery. I will start Sleephoria on Sunday.

Some of the guys who have been on longer are starting to hit Pr's. At first it was endurance related. Looks like strength is starting to climb. I have no idea whats gonna happen with guys who run it long term. I assume good things as keeping follistatin high will keep activin and myostatin low.

Whew. Monster session today. Today is Week 3 Day 1 of Follidrone. After all the fun I had this weekend I wasn't sure if I'd be able to pull out my max PR #'s but I managed to do so anyway so I'm happy about that. I also loaded up with a LOT of assistance and volume today. It's almost a miracle I was able to pull it off because of the crappy diet/sleep I've had for the last 2 days.

So yeah....even with essentially 2 days of complete crap I managed to pull off the required reps for a PR and add volume. Loving this stuff. I feel like it also decreases CNS fatigue (not just muscular fatigue). Last month's Bench PR was 215x3....so 220x3 is a clear PR. I might have had some in the tank left for ONE more rep but my focus felt off so I wasn't going to chance it. I also never did pause reps or any kind of benchwork after my old 215x3 PR, so this PR session is very definitive.

Thanks! I can only imagine how much better I would have done if I wasn't running on low amounts of sleep.

My dirt cheap bottle of Sleephoria came in, so hopefully I'll be getting awesome rest too. I'll be dosing it at 1 cap tonight.

Alright, today was the day for a PR attempt on my OHP and Deadlifts. To keep things short, it was a success. After last week's session where I failed to even rep out 305 on my Deadlifts, I wasn't feeling confident for what I had to do this week. I chalked it up to bad sleep (2 hours only) and wrote it off but still didn't feel confident until today. Also, I'd like to point out that today was the first day I've had awesome sleep quality in awhile. I took 1 cap of Sleephoria on Sunday and it didn't do much, so I tried 2 caps yesterday and it knocked me out cold. I woke up this morning and I didn't feel groggy, so I was happy about that. Here's the session:

Overhead Press: (I ended up doing this first because the Deadlift stage was occupied)
65x5
75x5
95x5
110x3
125x3
140x4 --> PR

Deadlift:
135x5
185x5
225x5
255x3
290x3
325x3 --> PR

Squat:
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5
245 x 5

Standing Cable Face Pulls:
40x12
40x12
40x12
40x12

Overall, it was an awesome session today. My last month PR for OHP was 135x3, so 140x4 is pretty definitive and shows that Follidrone helps with top-end strength too (Week 3 seems to be when this effect may kick in). My last month PR for Deadlifts was 315x3 and I got 325x3, so I was pretty pumped about that because I failed at 305x1 last week. I've been adding Face Pulls just for shoulder health and to help my posture out. Other than that, great session overall. One more session until deload week, but I'm running 2 bottles of FD so hopefully the next month is awesome too. I'll be adding weight to my Squats for my next cycle as they're becoming "fairly easy".
