My Goals:


To see a difference in my abdominal area and more definition overall. I’d like to lose 5-8 lbs of fat over the next month, and even though I will probably weigh daily, I will not live by the scale number. I hope, anyway.

My Routine:

I’m currently making my own routine(s), and it ranges from medium to high weight (for me) on compound movements and med weight with higher reps for most accessory movements. I typically super-set a lot and take limited rest periods.

Shortly I will probably be changing to the Mountain Dog program.

My Foods:

I count every calorie that I take in, and my plan is as follows:
2,400-2,600 on workout days. Macros close to 40%p/35%c/25%f. Carbs may be as low as 30%.
2,000-2,100 on non-wo days.
1-2 days a week with calories around 3,000.

I want to see the results others get from DCP 2.0 as well. I ran two bottles, and really enjoyed it.

Haven't tried Vanillean yet.

Imma go ahead and post today's eats even though I haven't started yet.

Todays cals will be 2,356, with 272/176/64 with 50g fibers.



I MAY have 3 Hershey kisses to push me over 2,400. If so, add 66 cals and 4.5g fat.

Do you cook all of your meals beforehand?
I do 90% of my meals for the week on Sunday. I add and subtract and change some things daily though.

I try and make sure my dinner is planned before I get home because my wife hates when I delay dinner to count calories. If anything changes I'll correct the post in the morning.

Calories ended up at 2,437 instead.

Today may be further under my calorie goal than I'd like. I probably won't make it home until right before I typically go to bed, and I'm not eating that late. I'm bringing whatever extra cals I can fit into my lunch box.

I took my first does of each, DCP 2.0 and Vanillean, at 0400 with my morning Milk Thistle and Niacin. At 0430 I had 1/4c oats with cinnamon as I was walking into the gym.

I didn't experience any nausea, any extreme HR on the treadmill or during the workout, or any stomach pains. I'm not saying I expected any, just noting this.

There were no pill burps or gas that I noticed immediately after or up to this point (0740).

I'm not certain if I can notice an appetite difference or not, so I'll continue to monitor that. At one point this morning about an hour ago I was really hungry, but now I don't feel so hungry and I've yet to eat anything. I'll have another portion of my breakfast here soon: 1c cottage cheese w/ 2tbsp flaxmeal.

I will probably take my next dose(s) around 1130. I should be finished with my breakfast meals by 1000-1030.

I just realized it's almost lunch time and I haven't finished breakfast yet. The appetite suppresion is there and pretty strong, unless there is something else causing my lack of appetite. I'm usually always hungry on days I workout unless I take something to suppress it.

Morning weight: 190.8

I'm a little tired this morning. I fell asleep later than I like to during the week. I probably should have taken a rest day anyway, but nah.

I slept like a rock. I took my last dose yesterday at 1545 and it didn't affect my sleep at all. I still have other notes to add from yesterday but I'll get those in later this morning. I have to pack my lunch and stuff.

I skipped the protein shake last night and ate 1/4 avocado instead. I needed the fats more than anything else anyway, and my calories were going to suffer regardless. I took a higher calorie protein bar with me last night but I just wasn't in the mood to eat it.

I'll probably aim for 2,600 cals today, then 3,000 Saturday (next leg day). Tomorrow I'm at the personal function again, so I risk running low on cals. Maybe I can get the wife to bring me a sandwich or something.

I ended yesterday at 1,667 calories, with 194p/136c/42f and 37 fibers:



I will be doing back today. Without looking, I think it have dead lifts planned. But, I may go super light. My traps are tight as can be and my neck feels a little sore. I must've leaned my neck forward wrong during one of my exercises yesterday.

My PWO will be NO Explode. It's a sample I need to use up...

Notes:

I just had no energy this morning. I didn’t even make it to two minutes on treadmill warmups. I think I started to jog at 6.0 and after 15s just stopped it. Hopefully there aren’t too many low calorie days like that in my future.

It looks like I’m going to that function again tonight as well as tomorrow night. It’s actually a 3-day service/worship thing our church started several years ago ending 21 days of fasting. I usher for the church and did not do the fast this year.

I am almost 550 calories ahead of where I normally am at this time of day hoping I don’t have too low of a day.

It’s only been two days… but here is what I think I’ve observed thus far:

Energy:


The energy is different than a typical thermo. It doesn’t seem to hit its max immediately then taper off after 30 min’s. I think I would compare it to how I feel when I needle vitamin B into me. A steady, non-jittery energy with no peaks, really. Like an overall sense of well being. Make sense?

I’ve taken it my first two days pre-workout. I don’t think I’m going to do that anymore. Vanillean recommends 30m before a MEAL, and I don’t really have a meal that early. I don’t think I notice any thermo boost while working out, so, I’ll start dosing post-workout and before my first PWO meal.

Appetite:

See the above paragraph regarding these comments- I have not been that hungry at all the last two days except immediately after the gym. Today it was worse, but that’s expected since I didn’t eat dinner last night and my calories were real low. I think dosing it post-WO will help.

The appetite suppressant isn’t a full feeling, or a bloating feeling (like GNC-type thermos), but instead just kinda makes me not really think about food. I kept forgetting to eat yesterday. This is new to me, because even when full I think about when it’s time to eat again. We’ll see how consistent that feeling is. I just took todays second dose and my 5th dose overall.

I have on the plate grip. It's been a while. I'll try and get both of those in this next week.

I have not tried the Jefferson DL. It's been recommended to me here before but I just kept forgetting to try it.

I'll try and remember to do some with just the bar this morning as a warmup.
