I dunno which is more amazing: the fact that he quit smoking cold turkey after yrs of doing it, or the fact he's still alive
    Alive gets my vote

It makes you wonder, you know. My grandfather lived til his late 80s. He smoked his whole life. How long would he have lived if he didn't ever smoke? All he did was pick grapes, eat crazy "food" (100% Filipino), and smoke cigarettes.

All of my parents smoke, an have been forever. No recorded health issues.
Usually you get problems when you quit, but that isn't always the case.

  6. Sorry gents, I had a busy weekend and my in-laws just left today. We have been in our annual Medic Training also, so the days have been long.

I have 2 days worth of updates coming today, but I can say I am grateful for the sleep I have gotten, because I need it.

    this
if you are not susceptible to lung cancer from cigarettes, then you won't get it even if you smoke
conversely, I reference dana reeve (Christopher reeve's wife) -- never smoked a day in her life, died from lung cancer
it's all a crapshoot, might as well roll the dice eh

Some people love their tobacco. Personally, cigs make me feel and smell nasty, and dip makes my mouth feel and taste nasty. To each their own, nicotine is a ridiculous addiction. 2nd hardest thing I have ever tried to give up.

    indeed
one of the greatest conspiracies of the 20th century, damn cigarette companies making this product intentionally addictive while steadfastly adamantly claiming to be innocent public servants and denying all such claims

You haven't tried giving me up yet. That will be the hardest.

    Well, you're right, I haven't......yet

  14. Dec 2nd update

Epic sleep session. Everyone was wrecked from the weekend on Sunday night, and I drank my G8 maybe 1930. Right after that I snuck off to bed and killed some Zzzzz.

Last night was the last night that my in-laws were staying in town. they told me to go to bed because I looked worn out. So... I drank my G8 at 1800!! And racked the fuk out.
Best sleep in a long time.
I have been going with just over a scoop, like when you scoop deep and it has that hill on top. Perfect dose for my brain.

    Updates to follow

  15. Looks like i have been slacking on these updates.
I didn't take the G8 the past couple of nights. Gotta make sure I cycle it proper.
I am looking forward to drinking it tonight though. My sleep last night was bad. I got home around midnight and maybe fell asleep about 1-130.
Woke up to another wonderful day feeling tired an cranky.
But, I have the day off today, so I am going to knock out my chore list, do a solid workout, and sleep like a baby....early.

I slept like a baby last night. We watched a couple movies and chilled out.
I drank a scoop of G8 right when the second movie started, and I rode the comfort cloud through. I don't think I have ever been so relaxed on that couch. The kids kept interrupting my peace, but that's just what happens. Kids.
Went right to sleep when I laid down, woke up 2 times to use the restroom, and woke feeling like a Boss.
I needed that sleep man. And looking forward to tonight's as well.

  20. Another great night last night. Stayed up until about 0200, an had to wake up at 0730, so I went with 1/2 a scoop of G8 about 10 minutes before i lied down.
    Fell asleep within minutes.
No wake ups through the slumber.
    Still having legit vivid dreams.
Woke up very easily and I felt pretty darn good for 5.5 hours of sleep.
Had a great day today, saw some family, made some positive decisions, and made a plan.

    Until tomorrow

5-6 hours is pretty normal for me during my work week and when I get to take my G8 it makes those short sleep sessions very productive.

The G8 helps immensely. I slept like a brick last night. Glorious sleep, but I did not want to get up this morning. A solid 8 hours though.

  23. G8 update.
I slept HARD last night. No dreams that I remember. I had to pee, but I didn't get up to do it. When I woke up I had one of those ridiculous pees, that you get tired of standing there so you lean on the wall. Yeah.
I feel pretty good now, but I had a tough time getting going this morning.
I have to go get my TRT shot here shortly and a couple of appointments at various places.
I went to visit my family down in Florida yesterday. Had a great time. And we went and saw my Grandparents gravesite. I had a special relationship with them, and I miss them a lot.
Anyways, I have been slacking on my logs and general AM presence, and I am back at it 100%.
    Have a great day!!

I always have this type of sleep with G8. Very restful, usually I wake in the position, I fell asleep. No dreams.

I enjoy dreams when they are informative or entertaining.

Mine are typically disturbing, so it's nice to not remember them.
