Today I finally got my ss to the gym after 3 weeks of being sick... and I'm still not 100%. I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it in because I was laying in bed this morning after a rough night of little sleep feeling like utter crap. But since I was just laying there unable to sleep, I thought, I'll just get up and take some Stimul8... see what happens. 20 minutes later and I was moving some weights!

Nothing really to log because I just did some light sets to get the joints moving and remind my muscles what's in store. More than likely it will remain like this through the week. At this point I'm not sure what to expect. I've been sick for so long it's hard to remember what it feels like to be healthy.

No I'm not dead but there were days that I wanted to be. Good news is...I made to the gym this morning! Of course the baby is sick now so sleep isn't the best. But I HAD to lift weights! Of course I was freaking way tired this morning when I woke up, but i got a scoop of Stimul8 in my system and let the magic take hold.

Wasn't too bad considering the crap I've been through. I don't think I've lost too much strength actually, at least nothing I won't get back pretty quickly. What I HAVE lost is my endurance. My breathing still isn't 100%, still coughing some crap up out of my lungs, but I felt like I got a decent workout in. Basically just did 3 sets of each exercise, 1x10, 1x8, 1x5 just to get a feel of where I'm at. Plus I have a good friend of mine who started working out with me. He's a big boy but a newbie so I'm starting him out easy. Here's what we did:

    Bench Press
    Seated Rows
    Squats
    DB Press
    Wide-grip Lat PDs
    Calf raises

Just wanted to hit some of everything which I'll continue to do through the week. I'll see how I'm feeling next week (and my buddy as well) before deciding where to go from here.

Another day at the gym. All I can say is that my calves are sore as fock from Monday. I didn't even work them that hard... sheesh! But damn are they tight! Other than that I'm feeling pretty good. Today we did a little more isolation work with some light weights just to get the blood into sore muscles.

    Incline HS Press
    High Rows
    Leg Press (low and narrow)
    -1 set Leg Extensions
    DB Lat raises
    Reverse Grip Pull down
    Leg Curls

What can I say about stimul8 today? The focus I had in the gym actually allowed me to get more out of my light-weight exercises because I could tune in to the muscle being worked. I'm hoping I can carry this level of focus with me as I start to progress through the weights again because I know I'll see more results. It's probably going to take me another full week before my breathing is back to normal but I should also be back to the strength I had prior to getting sick by that time too. I'm just excited that I can workout again!

Typically enjoy a great mind/muscle connection myself with Stimul8. Good to see you are back in the swing of things!

Things getting a little more intense today... put a little more focus on chest and back with some legs before my energy died. Did 3 sets of 10-15 for each exercise.

    DB incline fly
    HS Chest press
    Reverse machine fly
    HS reverse grip row
    Standing leg press

I was intending on doing SLDLs but I really had nothing left. I get winded so quickly now. But I'll just keep pushing because that's all I can do.

Hit the gym Monday and today. Slowly getting my energy back to where it was. I DID match my previous PR for squats at 275x5 so my strength is definitely there! I think my lungs are finally back to normal, I just have to cough once in awhile to get some junk up but I'd say I'm feeling pretty good!

Monday was a heavier day that focused on compound exercises to hit the most basic of movements: Squats, Bench Press, and seated rows at 3 sets of 5 with a finishing set of 12-15 reps. Felt pretty beat afterwards and my legs were sore as fock yesterday.

Today we did some more isolated full body work with lighter weight and high reps. 3x10-12: SLDLs, seated leg curls, leg extensions (quads felt pretty smoked), incline press, high rows, db lat raises, reverse grip PDs and finished with a couple burn out sets for bis and tris. All in all the focus and energy was definitely there and could tell a big difference from last week.

I think we will finish up this month with the same routine we've been using and start hitting some 5/3/1 come January.

Finished last week strong on Friday with some more full body work. Getting sad though because my Stimul8 is almost gone. Guess I'll have to buy MORE! This week will probably finish off the container so I'll give my full review then. In short though, this has been my favorite PrWO I've ever used... And I've used a LOT.

I'll have to say that this morning was a bit rough. I've had the last 3 days of work off and succeeded at making sure I enjoyed every minute of it. So when I went to the gym and started hitting it hard, my body was like "dude, WTF are you DOING? This sht AGAIN?" Yeah, I was pretty winded after just a few sets of intense effort. But with my Stimul8'd blood coursing through my veins, I pushed through the sets and had a nice full body workout.

Afterwards I did 35 min of LISS incline walking with a heart rate of high 140s. That felt pretty awesome. Forgot how good a little Cardio PoWO felt. So right now I have to get ready for work, but I'll be sure to post my final review of Stimul8 later today.

    1) This product was a great source of clean energy/good mood... (1-5)

5 - I never crashed on Stimul8. Even when I dosed up to 1.5 scoops the energy was intense but focused.

    2) This product helped me power through my training sessions... (1-5) -

5 - Once Stimul8 kicked in, I felt like it was the fuel that kept my fires burning. There's no doubt that I hit PRs BECAUSE of Stimul8.

    3) This product enhanced my mental focus... (1-5) -

5 - Working out in the early AM can really put your mental focus to the test. I relied HEAVILY on Stimul8 to shift my mentality from wanting to go back to bed, to wanting to go back to the gym.

    4) This product did not give me the jitters... (1-5) -

5 - I wouldn't call it jitters so much as an anxiousness to get to the gym. A potential energy that builds up waiting to be released. I definitely wouldn't take Stimul8 without having some high-energy activity to partake in.

    5) This product tasted great... (1-5) -

    5 - Like candy!

    6) I really enjoyed this product and would recommend it to friends and family... (1-5) -

5 - I already have told a couple people at the gym and my current workout partner will be buying some soon! Stimul8 really took me to the next level and I will definitely continue to use Stimul8 as my PrWO supplement.

When considering each category, I really tried to come up with reasons as to why I wouldn't score it a 5, but there really weren't any. Stimul8 is a top notch product formulated and backed by knowledgeable people (freaks) who have dedicated their lives to pushing beyond physical limits. Anybody who desires to do the same will certainly want to give Stimul8 a shot, because until you have, you won't truly know what your limits are.

Thanks to @snagencyV2.0, @edje007, @Montego, and the rest of the Finaflex crew for giving me this opportunity.
