Alright finally felling somewhat back to normal. Im thinking its just gonna take some time to get used to the low carbs again after them being high for so long. Had an extremely off experience yesterday. I feel like my blood sugar may have dropped? Shakey hands, sweaty, light headed this has been happening quite a bit this last week not everyday but at least eod. Smash some carbs and im fine within a few minutes. Not sure what could be the cause of this. Im really trying to limit my 90 carbs to pre and post workout other than a few oz's of sweet potatoes later in the day. Was craving french toast bad this morning so I made these. .. ezekiel cinnamon raisin bread french toast with sugar free syrup.. was awesome

I get the hypo feelings when I go high carb and then come back to low carb the first week or two is always riddled with some blood sugar issues. I find it actually easier for me to go almost completely no carb the first week or two then start climbing back up toward 100g afterwards. Seems once my body is used to burning fat for energy the blood sugar issues disappear.

i wonder if any studies have been done to show if extreme manipulation of carbs has any effect on developing diabetes...

I am sure that they have. Definitely there is a link between high carbs and type 2 diabetes. However quite often in our situations most of us use enough resistance training and other intense training that it increases insulin sensitivity. I think in many cases when switching it has more to do with variances of insulin sensitivty and the body reprogramming itself for how much insulin it needs to produce in a given meal. Especially when macros have changed drastically. If high carbs was the norm then you hit low carb but still producing higher insulin levels the hypoglycemic response makes sense. However yes like now I am on higher carb intake and there is some worry to me that I may be lowering my insulin sensitivity. Could just be in my head but a strong family history of type 2 diabetes makes me watch out for it.

Thanks, I have tried some of the movements when doing FST 7... but never the actually routine. Is there a 'template' anywhere or do you just put it together from articles? Also, I see there is beginner/intermediate/advance recommendations for sets, etc. Do you go with intermediate?

I have all of the articles put into one PDF if you want it. I also have one that all I put in it was the exercises and reps to use when I worked out.

I haven't used a Biotest product since the original Mag-10 and 4AD came out. However I love the group of contributors they have over there. Great writing and articles. Just have to know how to sidestep the engrained supplement sales pitch. Honestly some of the best programs I have ever done came from there, but I am far from a Biotest fan.

Simon if you or anyone else wants a copy of the articles and stuff in one PDF shoot me you addy. I am pretty sure I still have yours though Simon so I will send it over to you.
Ill send them as well just in case.

I'd love to look at this as well. Doubt I could get through a breezy workout but I'd love to look over it.

Dan, I've had those hypo feelings as well. Usually a few days then things are okay.

I see you've experienced why I don't miss that greasy food anymore lol. The cheat meal always looks good but I ALWAYS regret pizza. Lots of options you could do with your diet bud if you wanted a break from carb cycling (which is good to do). As always you are so sexy

Unsubbed... I refuse to follow a log with a bunch of whining

Get better bro and then come back strong. it's flu season and your types like to kiss lots of random dudes, thus making you more prone to catching the contagion.

You have a well established rep, no one is questioning you. Rest up, sleep your ass off and force feed yourself. You're in my thoughts/dreams either or

i think a blood test is a good idea...my low blood glucose seemed to come out of nowhere and hit quick. if i limit my carbs too much i find myself binging on way too many really bad carbs just to feel right. for me it's best to incorporate enough good carbs to keep binges away.

on the brightside, i just cut over 20lbs in a around a month and a half while keeping carb intake moderately high, of course these are 95% good carbs with the occasional cheat to satisfy my sweet tooth, lol.

That's what you get from eating day old tuna sandwiches out of that tool box of yours - while run through the woods.

    ...hope you feel better brother.
