  3. Today was Shoulders and Traps. Yet again I didn't sleep well the night before. I have a very active brain most nights and even though i'm dog tired and very sleepy my brain won't shut off. It keeps thinking random thoughts. Not sure why, i've had this problem for years.

    Any way, on to the workout. I kept it a bit light and aimed for higher reps with a good squeeze each rep. It felt damn good. Today is also my refeed day. I get an extra 350g of carbs to load my muscles up with. Today my diet guy had me load up with a total of 550g on top of what is in my normal meals for this day. I made a video showing what I typically eat on refeed days.




    SHOULDERS

    Seated DB Press: 4 x 15 with 45, 50, 55, 60

    DB Side Raise: 4 x 10 with 25, 30, 35, 40

    Smith Behind Head Press: 4 x 15 with 95, 115, 135, 155.. nice and slow with a good squeeze.


    TRAPS

    BB Shrug; 4 x 15 with 225lbs



    CALVES

    Standing Calf Raise: 4 x 15 with 225lbs



    NOTES: After my workout I had my PWO shake which had 70g protein in it, then drove home and started my refeed. Finally got all that food in and had to take a nap! CARB COMA!

    MM is awesome, its a huge help and gets me through these workouts. I can't wait to see how my workouts improve once my cals are up after my show.

  4. Had a damn fine workout today. Hit chest and triceps again with an attitude! I felt great and energy, drive and focus were top notch!


    CHEST

    Incline Machine Press: 4 x 10 with 155lbs

    Incline DB Fly: 4 x 10 with 35, 40, 45, 45

    Flat Machine Press: 4 x 12 with 225, 275, 295, 315

    Decline BB Press: 3 x 10 with 185lbs

    Pec Dec: 4 x 15 with 130, 160, 190, 220 (only got 10 last set)



    TRICEPS

    Decline CG BB Press: 4 x 10 with 135lbs

    Press Downs: 4 x 15 with 60, 60, 70, 70

    Rev Grip Press Downs: 4 x 10 with 60lbs



    PWO Meal



    NOTES

    The Incline machine I used i've never used before. Very hard to do. It forces your chest to stretch at the bottom and really contract at the top, almost like a fly movement. The light weight shocked me. I had no idea it was gonna be that hard lol

    MM did a fantastic job again today! One more workout tomorrow and i'm done until after my show.

  7. Had my last workout until after my show. Hit it as hard as I could. I felt great and had plenty of energy and drive thanks to MM!

    I hit Back, Biceps, Shoulders, Calves. I just wanted to hit them all one last time for a little extra pump. lol


    BACK

    Wide Grip PD: 4 x 10 with 130, 140, 150, 160

    Rev Grip PG: 4 x 10 with 120, 130, 140, 140

    Seated Cable CG Row: 4 x 10 + 1 drop set with 160, 180, 200 then 240 x 6, 180 x 6, 140 x 10

    Hammer Machine Rows: 3 x 10 with 225lbs


    BICEPS

    Machine Preacher Curls: 3 x 8-10 with 50, 60, 70

    *super set
    DB Hammer Curls: 3 x 10 with 40lbs
    Rev Grip BB Curl: 3 x 10 with 30lbs



    SHOULDERS

    DB Side Raise: 4 x 10 with 30lbs

    DB Front Raise: 4 x 10 with 25lbs

    NOTES

    Felt great the entire workout. Plenty of gas left at the end but I had to stop. I havent had this much energy and drive in a while lol. Leaving for my show tomorrow morning. I can't wait to step on that stage and do my very best. Ill let ya know how I do asap.

  10. Ill post pics ASAP but I did pretty damn good. It was a huge show, lots of big boys showed up.

    In the light heavy novice there was 12 of us and I took 1st!

    In the light heavy masters there was 14 of us and I took 3rd!

    In the open light heavy weight there was 16 of us and I took 4th!


    Not to bad!

    Yeah my strength isn't 100% yet. My workout routine has been changed by my diet guy. We need more size in legs and arms and more width on shoulders so ill be training 6 days a week. 3 heavy days then repeat with 4 higher rep days. Each body part gets hit twice a week how.

  19. My workout routine was changed. I will be training 6 days a week hitting each mucle twice a week. 1 day lower reps heavy as hell and 1 day lighter weight higher reps. Today was heavy day... figures... my strength is not 100% yet so my numbers arent impressive at all. lol


    QUADS

    BB Squat: 225x10, 275x8, 315x4 goal was 3 x 8-10

    Leg Press: 3 x 10 with 700lbs



    HAMSTRINGS

    Lying Leg Curls: 3 x 8-10 with 75, 90, 105

    SLDL: 3 x 10 with 135lbs


    NOTES: My numbers are rather low, still recovering from the show this past weekend. So from this point on my numbers will increase.
