A serious weightbelt is a must if you lift heavy. I don't mean something from Gasp, I mean something from Titan, Inzer, etc. You'll need the real deal for your powerlifting meet you're training for next year, & they only allow certified brands/gear to be run anyway so you might as well invest now & get used to your belt.

Plus an awesome belt is just that - I'd trade any supplement or cycle I've ever done for my Titan Longhorn leverbelt. Best purchase ever.

And if you can't afford Oly shoes, try some Converse chucks. Bought a pair last week now that I'm squatting 5x/wk (all the oldschool guys swear by em for squatting/pulling if not barefoot) & they're awesome. No support, can feel everything thru the bottom, uncomfy & weird looking as hell - but they flat out work like nobody's business with a bar in your hands or on your shoulders.

Never really thought about shoes playing a big factor but totally makes sense the way you described it Hyde. I have a belt but fail to use it. I probably should though.

If you aren't squatting very heavy (5 reps or less) it really is just a comfort thing: squat in anything you feel comfy & stable in, provided it's not flimsy. Where you get into trouble is trying to spread your knees & drive thru the sides of your feet in a heavy powersquat & your cloth Pumas shift off the sole and you nearly roll off your shoe with a 90% of 1RM load on your shoulders. That scared the pee out of me

You don't need to squat super heavy if size is the prize anyway - and strength will increase with added mass, regardless.

Just saw that you're a BPS Rep now in your sig - congratulations brother! Nice line-up of products by them.

I love my ATP wrist wraps. Going to get their lever belt and knee wraps too.

I like to squat and DL in socks, but if shoes are a must I like my vibrams

    Day 6
What's up fellas? So I ended up skipping training yesterday, was just too damn tired. Can't believe I just typed that anyways got up and hit it hard this morning. Trained bis and tris.

    Tri Set
Cable Curls Wide Grip + Ez Bar Curls Close Grip + Single Arm Cable Cross Curls (bicep pose)
    5x10 per

    Spider Curls Ez Bar
    65x10
    75x5x5 hold at the top

    Hammer Curls Drop Set
    30x10 drop 20x15
    (45x10 drop 20x10)x3

Rope Pushdowns Superset with Single Arm Reverse Grip Pushdowns
    4x12

    Incline Skull Crushers
    65x10x3

    Seated Db Tri Extentions
    60x12
    70x10
    75x8

    Dips Bw
    15x3

One difference I've noticed with the powder as compared to the pills is that with the pills I would have to usually hit the bathroom during training. This has not been the case with the powder. Energy has been good and weight is staying stable. Pre training weight was 182

    Day 7
The only negative so far is the mix ability of the Dpol powder. Tends to leave floaters that are almost impossible to "shake away" I just end up drinking it empty and then adding more water to get the particles that are left behind so I guess if nothing else it causes me to drink more water. Gotta always turn a negative to a positive
Trained chest today and decided to throw in some shoulder work as well. One thing about me is I'm constantly changing things up. Seems to work for me so I will stick with it.

    Incline Db Bench
    40x10x3 warm up
    50x12
    60x10
    70x8
    75x6

    Incline Flys
    40x10
    45x10
    50x8x2
    45x10

    Quad set
Decline BB Bench + Cable Cross Ladder
    4 sets of 10 each

    Delt Destroyers
    (50x30 + 40x15 + 30x10)x3

Seated Shoulder Press superset with Seated Db Front Raises
    3 sets of 12

    BB Shrugs
    135x15
    225x10x2
    135x15x2

Thanks buddy!! I dropped 55 pounds in that amount of time. My goal was 50 by June 13 but had lost that by the middle of May. I would train and then finish with cardio wearing 2 hoodies, would sweat my ass off lol

    Day 8
Training back is my business and business was good today!!!

    Rack Pulls
    135x15
    225x12
    315x10
    405x8
    455x6x2
    405x8
    225x15

    Bent Over Db Rows
    80x10x2 warm up
    125x10x3
Unfortunately 125s are the biggest dbs they have and this is getting to a point where it is almost too easy, so going to have to figure out something new.

    Face Down Incline Db Rows
    45x10x2
    55x10x2
    60x8x2

    Quad Set
Stiff Arm Pushdowns + Face Pull Ladders start at the bottom for 10 up two spots for 10 up two more for 10
    5x10 per
This is a killer, I had to force the 8-10th rep on the last set of face pulls on each of the first 2 rounds so lowered the weight by 5 to get back to strict form.

    Day 9
Ended up not training tonight. These 13 hour shifts kick my butt. To top it off I was feeling like crap for the last couple hours of my shift so when I got home I checked my blood sugar and it was 63. Just don't have time to eat when I'm working. The positive is I only have 3 of them a week, and have 4 days off. Hitting it tomorrow with bad intentions!!

Enjoy the rest day, and pound some iron like a madman tomorrow.
You gotta get you some quick snacks to keep in your pocket or nearby. Those crunchy natures valley granola bars are good for pockets because they don't melt. Or 'packets' of tuna. Little peanut butter to go cups. Something!

Blood sugar of 63 is low brother. ^^^ agree with this above. Cliff Bar Builder protein bars are pretty filling and 20 g protein.

    Day 10
Had to go straight to the gym from work and get some quick training today so that my wife could get to work. Had to keep my rests to a bare minimum and skip training tris. Started off with a crazy superset/drop set combo. My biceps were completely pumped and was one veiny s.o.b.

Wide Grip Cable Curls ss with Standing Db drop sets
    50x10x3 warm up
    72.5x10 ss 40x10 drop 30x10
    (72.5x10 ss 45x10 drop 40x10)x3

    Spider Curls
    65x10x2
    75x10x3
    65x10

    Hammer curls drop set
    30x10 drop 25x10
    (40x10 drop 25x8)x2

Ran out of time at this point and had to get back to the house. Hadn't eaten anything since breakfast which was at 5 this morning. So was on about an 11 hour fast. Ended up sweating my butt off today as well. Gotta love having a great pump, with veins bulging and sweat pouring off of you!!!!

    Day 11
Woke up sicker than a dog this morning but knew that I probably wouldn't have time to train tomorrow so figured I better get to the gym and work my shoulders and triceps. Not the best day but with the way I'm feeling I'll take it.

    Seated Shoulder Press Smith Machine
    115x10
    135x10x2
    185x8x2
    135x8

    Seated Front Raises alternating arms
    4x12 per

    Reverse Cable Flyes
4x10 really worked slow negatives and held at the back

    Delt Destroyers
    (45x30 + 35x15 + 20x10)x3

    Rope Pushdowns Pyramid
    6x10

    Vbar Pushdowns Pyramid
    6x10

Running a low grade fever accompained by body aches and some swelling in my lymph nodes in my left groin area. Going to watch it throughout the day and if it doesn't get better will be heading to the ER. I dealt with a similar situation to this when I was 19 except it was my right side of my groin and had to have surgery to have them removed. I know, I know whine, whine, whine lol

Dang Reggie, I don't think that's over-the-top at all to be worried about - the groin is kind of an important place for a man, and I doubt anyone's gonna fault you that cares about theirs. Sometimes resting is the better move man - if you get sick, you might not be able to train/recover & lose your gains. Better to only lift on off days if doing so on workdays is running you down.

Just my .02, this bro won't think less of you for prioritizing your health if you feel too sick to train

Is your Dpol custard powder? How's it taste if so? On fence between pills/powder for next pct with the dpol.
