Beans first Go with XGels SNS

Wanted to get this going. Started Monday 5/20.

Just on my second week after my first physique comp so this is my first week back to slaying weights and I'm focused on growth. Abs are fun and everything and I have no plan on letting them disappear for summer but a little fat/water is cool.

I dieted for 20 weeks leading up to this show so needless to say I rebounded badly. Ate way too much, too much sodium ect etc. lesson learned. Still dropping water, gained a small amount of fat but hey what's done is done. I'm focused for than ever now. My diet is under slight supervision of my coach for this offseason and looks like this

P-350g
C-250-300g
F-75g
Give or take

He's allowing me two free meals a week but free meals for me these days are a steak or burger out at a nice place.

I train at 430am M-F weekend off

Starting a new program that I've never done. Sort of a GVT/fst7/hit theme. And I'm digging it thus far. It's high intensity high volume which I love.

Let me just say the pumps with Xgels were so noticeable even after first dose. Today was leg day and the quad pumps after 10x10 squats plus four sets 15 on leg press were absolutely painful!

Should be a fun ride.

Oh yeah since SNS sponsored a bottle I decided to pick up another bottle so I can run this 50 days!

(Bi pump was painfull)

Smoked!! All rest periods were 30-40 secs at most 1m (usually just last couple sets of 10x10). I'm trying something new recommended by a friend which is to do 5-7 mins HIIT in between body parts. I want to see how this compares to just doing HIIT after weights.

I just realized its been 4 days and the same thing. Headache about 2 hours after gym session that lasts on and off all day till around 8 pm. Nothing has changed except me adding this in. No BP issues, hunger, caffein withdrawal I even took my contacts out as they sometimes cause headaches for me. Any help would be great.

My brother ran ArA and also noticed he was getting headaches. This only happened when he ran ArA also.

I'm hoping when I take it for the first time I don't experience headaches. Would be a major bummer. Hopefully someone else comes in here and comments on this issue.

I just read one article showing numerous studies linking headaches with ArA :-(. Also read on another forum that it tends to diminish after a couple weeks. 2 weeks of headaches doesn't seem worth it to me.

I will say that my brother did experience the headaches but I don't think it was during the whole run. He only complained about it a few times, but I can't really remember how long it effected him.

In for this and hoping you're able to keep it going. I'm logging these elsewhere and am loving them. No headaches at all for me and I can be prone to getting them. DOMS? Oh yeah - plenty! Great pumps and all day hardness too which is awesome. About 35 days or so left on my run and I'm looking forward to every one of those days ;D Hope the headaches clear for you soon

Totally agree with this. Not everything works the same for all of us. Get off em & see if the headaches clear up for sure. Hope everything returns to normal here for you soon.

Well guys 2.5 days without Xgels and 2.5 days of no headaches whatsoever. I hate to do this but I've battled headaches for years when I was fat and lazy and tbh the results I may or may not get aren't worth pushing through another week or two of headaches hoping they'll go away.

I really want to apologize the SNS, as I love a lot of their products but these obviously didn't agree with me.

I feel it's only fair that I still owe you a log of a product so IF Glycophase ever releases ill purchase it or something else and log it in this section for you guys.

Again I'm very sorry for this and hope you all understand.

Hmmm....I'm late to the party on this one. Just did some searching around but can't find out too much info. Sounds like approx 3 months til it's out? Nutrient partitioner - any info on the ingredients yet? Just signed up for the SNS newsletter - I'm a little slow with these things... :08:

So after a few days of analyzing this I feel I can give a solid review of these X-Gels. Even though they didn't agree with and gave me nasty headaches I'm almost tempted to try and finish them lol.

From the first dose to the last the pump is outstanding and what's even better it lasted almost until I went to bed no joke. I was in shock at how full I felt and looked throughout the day.

Anyone who is skeptical give them a chance, I sure wish I didn't get headaches from them

Sorry to bump your closed log but I figured this would be the best way for you to see this. I'm on day 2 of my X-Gels and am experiencing a dull headache that you have reported. I understand others have experienced it too and for some by a week in it disappears so I'm not jumping the gun on ending this product.

My question is, did you experience any nausea too? I want to go to the gym but I'm feeling a bit nauseous. It can be from all kinds of variables, such as my headache or the fact that its like 100 degrees out lol. Just wondering if nausea went along with your headaches too, thanks!

No problem bud.

I don't recall any noticeable nausea. The headaches however I do remember, very dull and draining tbh.

They subsided as soon as I discontinued use.

Depending on the severity of headaches I know they can lead to a nausea depending on the person.
