Ok, lets get focused. For those who don't know me, my name is Kevin, A.K.A "HokiePride". I took on this nickname for the forums due to the mass killings which took place at ViginiaTech. I never attended the school but since I had a friend who worked on the staff as security I got an opportunity to work the ACC football games from 2007-2012. I worked East side section 3. Yes, right above the 5 yard line. It was a great time and I plan to go back to watch games from time to time. I only quite since I moved to PA from VA.
I'm originally from Lancaster PA. I grew up palying basketball and had high hopes of going pro like any other inner city kid but due to different circumstances that didn't work put. Graduating from Shippensburg University in 97' I was a mere 240lbs on a 6'5 frame. I entered college at 190lbs. Entering the Army I dropped to 218 but quickly gained uit back my junior year becuase I was too light to play center. I was not used to that weight and got pushed around like a rag doll.
Fast forward to today, I weigh 352. Every time I try to lose weight I gained mass. This was due to lifting heavy weight. I'm addicted and don't plan on stopping. Why did I apply for this opportunity? It is due to the fact I have finally dialed my diet, lifting and cardio in. I realized when to back off and when to go hard. I know when to cyle in deloads and when to work on just fast twicth muscle. I have the final blueprint and I'm a few months from 40. Guess what, holding at 352, I'm not your average 6'5 352. I hold some BF but not as much as one may think. Let's put it this way. I turn heads when I walk into a room with a tank top on. I have hit 495x1 with the slingshot, whcih is on YouTube! Maybe not impressive with this training tool but i'm that much closer to hitting it. I plan to make an attempt without the training wheels by years end.
I also have 19.5" biceps, COLD. I want to get them to 21" I'm stoked and I believe 2013 will be my year to shine. This summer people are not going to be ready when I hit the beach in JUNE when for my 40th. If your in for the ride welcome! Thank you FOMUTECH and HVATECH for this aweosme opportunity.
I plan to enter my first Powerlifting event since last year. I have completed 13 in a 2.5 year period between summer 2010-fall 12. I have taken first each and everytime.
I'm feeling good and believe this will be my year to pick up sponsorships. I love to give training advice and my ultimate goal is to hit A 500 BENCH.
