    Exactly, and since I pointed out it was not my intent to make anyone feel stupid and I merely asked because I have made the same mistake (and got buried for it). Now please continue to listen to your trainer, my opinion (and a science based one at that) was expressed , if you do not like it then give me YOUR opinion...not your trainers opinion and we can talk about it civilly...yet I do agree that many things work differently for people...ie a lifting brother of mine got real huge quads from back squats at regular stance...and another got huge hamstrings and small quads out of it...go figure?

    Mrs Matty - I think you will like taking in a lower amount of carbs and am curious how you will feel on 100 grams per day. That's the amount I eat daily (unless carb cyclen) and sometimes it's hard to get all that in before 5pm, Guess I'm sensitive them as well.

    Thanks! I am figure now but my recognition of my size in comparison (at least for a natural alaska organization), I am considering moving up to womens physique. So I need to build some serious muscle in those areas I think good full rom is best for all lifting moves I do and then just increase the weight as it gets easier. I appreciate your feedback and I will be experimenting with those lifts!

    Yeah I am confident I will like taking in a lower amount of carbs. I kept it at 100gm yesterday and felt MUCH better. WHen I was eating the 200 or even the 150 a day I felt puffy, and overly full- and not in a good way! Just all around gross. So this will be a better help. I usually get all my carbs in by 1pm because of my morning workouts. It helps me to feel that the carbs are being used right away and not just hanging around for later lol.


    Ha the pics Matty was being sneaky...he takes them and I am unaware sometimes...he even answers forum questions!?! Now I know what he really does at the gym!

  13. This morning Matty and I will be checking out our first NPC show, well pre-judging anyway for the New-England Pro Qualifiers. Scoping out the competition scene here to prep for the next show...so excited! But will be hitting the gym first, and heading straight to the show; That's right from the gym to the show...we are gonna smell awesome! ha ha

    You are going to NPC New England National Qualifier?? That show can qualify you to go the National's in a couple of weeks if you place well. Small world...my friend is competing in WPD at THAT SAME SHOW!! Look for her in a blue suit and even though she's really short, she just told me she is the tallest one in her division!!! Damn....there all shorties!! Just found out her stage# is 46. Her husband is also competing in BB as a heavy weight, I think....

    Ha! Well IMO, there is nothing worse than trying to cover up BO and garlic w/ cologne or perfume!! A lot of competitors (back stage) smell like have BO since they can't wear deodorant (spray tanning) and have been eating well seasoned food before a show!!!

    I did not know that haha, thank god I am not into doing bodybuilding/physique shows for now hahaha. Powerlifting is first for me...and in some 7-8 years it will be Physique for me I guess...I wanna stay natural as long as possible ! (or at least until I am in my 30s)

    What did you think WPD? My friend won !!! Pretty cool!!! How was the figure competition compared to the contest you competed in?? Were the top 2 girl's more muscular of softer than the rest of the ladies??

    I am here!!!! ha ha! The figure girls looked big on stage and then standing next to me they were little...I am not sure if I think I am small or just other girls seem to just be smaller than me...so confused! ha ha but I am definitely going to shoot for figure one more time but I think ohysique is the way to go for me- it would allow more room for me to make mass gains without questioning being too big....I love f'n muscle! that's it! :-D
    Your friend was definitely the most ripped out of the other 3 women physique competitors by far!!! There were way more figure and bikini competitors than in Anchorage fo sho but they also had more muscle and definition. Exciting stuff! Again congrats on your bf loss!!!!! SCORE!

    I guess we will never know what the Judges will reward anyway, different show means different point of view's. Like you said - train for yourself and compete against yourself, as that's really the only mindset to go along with.

    Hope your day goes well today and I bet being at that show over the weekend will motivate your w/out's even further today
