    Hello from the not so new guy. I have been on here a while just not that active in the forums, I have really come to like this place after seeing how well greg and everyone actaully take part in the company on facebook and so on. Im also a active member on another forum board as well and listed as a expert product reviewer. I hope to really get to know some of you all here and contribute some useful things to this site as well.

    I have recently been given the chance to run a log for Athletix sports and I want to do my very best for them. I have ran logs for others too. USP, Purus labs, Lecheek and few others. So this is not my first rodeo.

    I was always skinny and puny growing up , but never tried weightlifting or anything like that. I Did play basketball though. After high school I found a gym and fell in love. I loved how much better I felt about myself. Then... I got married.. No more gym.. Then a divorce... Yea back to gym.

    Then I got married and had kids.. 8 years later. Another divorce and trying to do the single dad and go to them gym and work two jobs.. Geez but I Finally got my fat ass back in shape. ( weird how one can go from skinny and puny to a cow in just a few years ) lol

    Now I have found my soul mate and we are happy and live a great healthy lifestyle. She understands how much I like my gym time. ( I dont drink ..well very very seldom , I dont watch much sports, I dont play games. ) She knows that its my outlet.
    Anyway i just wanted to let some of you all know who I am a bit .
    Ok I will start this log off with some back dated workouts from this week and will continue to log it here from then on.

    June 30th

    Ok Although it was a short workout ( just about 20 min ) I got a lot in yesterday before heading to everyone about everything.
    I just needed to go and do a few things and get my mind from thinking 100mph.

    Everything I did I did with NO REST. Maybe just long enough to catch my breath and then right back into it.

    Rotator warmup

    BW pullups x 10
    DB side laterial raises 30 x 10 >> I did all this for 3 sets
    DB front raises 30 x 10

    Barbell shrugs 225 x ?? ( till I was burning )
    DB curls 45 x 10 each.
    LAT PULLDOWNS 200 x 10

    Hanging leg raises x 30 x 4 sets

    July 2nd

    Ok this may not be a huge workout but this is what I got so far.

    woke up at 7 am
    Had one chonibi yogurt

    Preworkout was
    Muscle marinade one scoop, One scoop Humapro, One scoop Formula x, 2 Licogenix.

    Legs
    Pre exhaust. Leg ext 30 sec rest

    12 reps 4 sets

    Hammer strength Ham curls
    12 reps 4 sets 30 sec rest each set.

    Squats
    140 x 12 x 3

    175 x 12 x 2

    Next I went to leg press and played with foot placement. I did first few set with feet low and shallow stance. Really burned the quads. Next few set I focused on whole leg. Feet up higher and bit wider.

    Leg press
    200 x 12 x 4
    400 x 12 x 4
    600 x 8 x 3 sets

    I only had 1 min rest on each set. I used a stop watch on this.

    Next was Lying leg curls Heavy superset with Leg ext Heavy.
    10 x 3 sets each..

    HIIT cardio on elipitical.
    for 15 mins.

    ABS for about 5 sets burnouts.

    Post workout.
    Protein waffle with peanut butter, light syrup.

    JULY 3rd

    630 am
    two protein waffles with peanut butter and light syrup .

    I had a dentist apt this morning at 7

    8 am I was done with that and
    Made my Preworkout shake in parking lot.
    1 scoop formula x
    one scoop muscle marinade
    1 scoop amino energy
    2 licogenix
    2 Nitrox II pills ( I open them up and squirt in drink.
    1 rasberry ketone

    at gym by 815 am

    Rotator cuff warmup

    Giant set
    standing barbell press 110 x 10 x 3 sets 130 x 10
    Lat pulldown 180 x 10 x 3 sets 220 x 8
    pushups 25 , 25, 20, 24


    Giant set
    Stiff arm lat pulldown 70 x 10 x 4 sets
    DB front and side raises 20 x 10 x 4 sets each side and front
    Pec dec 150 x 12 x3 200 x 8

    Pushups for failure superset with pullups to failure. x 2 sets

    abs for 5 sets of burnouts

    I had to squeeze a lot in because I will not make it to gym for one or two days.
    Entire workout time was 42 mins.
    I had a good sweat and actually a good pump everywhere from keeping the rest periods down.
    Post workout meal was 2 eggs with one cup oatmeal and cinnamon and some salsa.
    now off to swim all day with the kids. ( cardio? )

    7-6-12

    Ok I still had a minor headache when I got up but finally it went away.
    I actully started to feel pretty good. I am noticing now how much smaller my stomach feels and everything is tightning up. I know cant be from the two products just yet. But it is really motivating me.

    Today will be a good chest and Tri day.

    Shoulder warm up and a small walk on treadmill .

    Incline barbell press
    95 x 20 145 x 10 195 x 10 225 x 6 225 x 6

    Incline DB Press
    60 x 6 75 x 10 80 x 12

    I need to note on each set I was doing some form of ab crunches right after the set. Either on floor or off edge of bench

    Flat db press with 2 sec squeeze

    Triceps

    weighted dips
    12, 12, 10 , 8

    Tricep pushdown superset with reverse grip ( this was done on the lat pulldown machine )

    Not sure on wieghts used. ( machine is not marked )

    Ok So I didnt do anything but work all weekend. But started the week off as well as I could.

    Monday
    7 am, One egg with 1/4 cup oats and cin. and salsa.
    Humapro , amino energy, formula x , licogenix, and I tried takend the fat smack today too with it.

    Normally I dont because the FS seems to bother me if I take it with anything other supplement at the same time. I was in a hurry so I went ahead.

    Gym at 815am
    10 min walk on treadmill
    Bodyweight squats for 3 sets . about 25 reps.

    SQUATS
    140 x 15 x 2
    190 x 10 x 2

    Again these are really bothering my back and I was just not feeling the squats. Thought I would try a old workout I used to do. BUT the fat smack was giving me horrible acid reflux ( sp? ) and My heart was racing for some reason on top of it. I found myself really huffing and puffing after doing squats.

    ANYWAY.
    SUPERSET
    Deadlift with supersets of leg press
    DL 140 x 12 w/ 200 x 25
    dl 225 x 10 w/ 200 x 25
    315 x 5 w/ 200 x 25
    I thought I was feeling stronger than normal but after that set I didnt feel it any more. lol

    Leg press 400 x 25 x 3 sets

    Ham curl Lying x 4 sets

    abs 6 sets

    Tuesday July 10th
    Last night I didnt sleep well at all Major storms in area and I love listening to them, but not when the neighbors tree is hit with lightning. lol
    7 am breakfast was 2 eggs with 1/2 cup oats and cinn. and honey., protein waffle with peanut butter.
    Usually stack but waited on amino energy till I got to gym. I had few things to do before I went.
    10 am gym
    shoulder warmup and 2 sets of pullups. ( i can do these with a wide grip now )

    Smith machine Military press
    12 x 95
    10 x 140
    8 x 205
    6 x 225 NEW PR

    Barbell rows
    12 x 95
    10 x 140
    8 x 205 x 2

    DB PRESS
    35 x 12 x 5 sets
    I keep rest at no more than 45 sec each set and I was doing one set at a slow pace and one at a slow negative and Fast positive.
    These burnt like crazy.

    LAT PULLDOWN
    10 x 150
    10 x 165
    10 x 200
    I could feel these a lot more after doing the rows first.

    SIDE Delt raises and front plate raises
    20 x 8 rep x 4 for the side
    35 x 10 x 4 for the front.

    abs x 6 sets of various.

    Wednesday I went in and did 15 min HIIT CARDIO on the treadmill, 15 min HIIT CARDIO on the row machine and ABS for about 10 sets. Good workout for less than Hr. Ended up later that morning getting a major migraine. Could barely talk . Sleep almost rest of the day.
    Thursday I still had a sick headache and slept off and on most of the day.

    Ok I got back into the gym last night and wow Great short workout!.

    On another note I have to say I forgot how much I LOVE DAA!!!
    This stuff is awesome My gains are going up every week, I feel so much stronger than I have in a while.
    I have read that after about 2 and half weeks though it starts to dwindle down. SO if I notice that I might stop it for a week and then go back on. I love this formula x though so far.

    Like I said I had company coming over later so I had just under a hr to hit hard and I miss a couple days this week So I was on a makeup mission too.

    Rotator cuff warmups

    OK first off I will say that once I start this I didnt stop for rest on this whole exercise
    Flat bench
    95 x 10 No rest
    140 x 10 No rest
    225 x 10 No rest
    280 x 8 One min rest
    DROP SET
    280 x 8 No rest
    225 x 12 NEW PR
    140 x 20
    THE drop set felt great!!

    Ok straight over to
    INCLINE DB
    55 x 12
    70 x 8
    DROP SET
    70 x 8
    55 x 8
    45 x 12

    NO rest on those either . just catch breath and go

    Next was work some arms into all this.
    DB CURLS
    50 x 10 each.x 3 sets with one min rest
    I dont think I have ever curled 50 before!. Oh wow the veins was incredible!. So awesome.

    TRICEP PUSHDOWNS
    whole stack!! x 12 x 3 sets

    Next I started a big GIANT set

    DB CURLS with bull horn push down with pec dec

    DB curl 40 x 10
    bull horn whole stack x 10
    Pec deck 200 x 12 These felt very strong too. I did this setup for 4 sets

    I had some great pump going on and even had a few ask me what I was doing . I was looking leaner and bigger.
    weight today was 242 ! twenty two more pounds to my goal. !

    Next I just wanted a good finish set
    superset DIPS with Preach curl machine
    The dips are getting easier now too. I can lean way in and focus on chest more without shoulder pain.
    DIPS x 20 with curls x 12
    Dips x 12 with curls x 12
    Dips x 8 with curls x 8
    I did that whole set just going back and forth NO REST

    I was in and out of the gym today and still felt great. I can really feel it today too. !!

    Awesome workout man. thats a huge dropset on the bench I may have to try that on monday. Not that heavy tho yet

    Thanks I would go heavier but I was alone and Im still scared of my shoulder just yet. I kinda felt that in my shoulder a bit. once that heals up I will be drop setting 315 or so. Im hoping around august and sept I should be up to par for some heavy weights.

    Thatll be huge dropsetting 315. The way your going youll be there in no time.

    Yea I bulk and gain very easy I could bump up my game and be at 270 is a matter of months if i wanted. But I want to keep the size I am now and get around 220 I think I should look pretty jacked then. If only I could get my legs to grow. One of the downsides of being so tall.

    I didnt get to hit the gym yesterday , I had husband duties that I had to do. I had to mow the yard that was damn near a hay field after all this rain we have had. I think today will either be the High voltage circuits ( kinda like crossfit ) or legs and back!.

    Todays workout was great.


    Im loving the athletix stack so far. I feel great on it.!


    I also got my shipment of frat pack in a supp d.


    Today Preworkout was Formula x , supp D, mixed with my Amino energy water.


    20 mins later.. WOW.


    BACK AND SOME LEGS


    First was 3 min stair stepper, and 7 min rotator warm up.




    Rack pulls
    140 x 12

    365 x 8 NEW PR
    drop set

    Note** while on third set I started working in legs on leg press I supper set the next 3 sets.


    LEG PRESS

    600 x 25 !! NEW PR
    I have done more weight but not that many reps. I could have had more but I was running out of air.


    Note * On third set of leg press I started supersetting BARBELL ROWS

    BARBELL ROWS
    140 x 12 x 3


    Next was just some rear delt work


    REVERSE pec dec
    105 x 12 x 4 set


    I superset this with High pulley face pulls with rope
    130 x 12 x 4


    Pullups
    BW x 10 x 3 sets
    wide grip.


    abs x 5 sets


    I was pretty wiped out by this point . I know I didnt do a lot of different things but I went hard on everything . I was sweating like crazy which I love. My muscles are looking leaner and fuller and I just feel more alpha the past few days.
    Libido is crazy at this point too. Every morning is wood city.
    This maybe one of the better stacks I have had .

    Ok yesterday I didnt think I would be able to make it back into the gym But I made it. I know I will not be able to make the rest of the week either . SORRY guys I have family duties and needs . I only have a week or two left with my kids and got to make them count. Gonna be camping and swimming and guy stuff next few days.

    Anyway I was and still am SOOOOO sore my upper back and rear delt and wrecked!. I have not been this sore in a while. I do seem to get more sore on any DAA product. But I think that is just cause I seem to go harder.

    So At the gym I wanted to hit a bit of everything. Some compound movements and some smaller ones.

    shoulder warm up for about 5 min

    Military Barbell press
    140 x 12
    175 x 12 x 2
    210 x 10 x 2

    DB military press
    50 x 12
    60 x 10
    70 x 10

    Pullups
    bw x failure x 3 sets.

    pec dec superset with pushups

    180 x 12 pu to failure
    200 x12 pu to failure
    210 x 10 pu to failure.

    Barbell curls
    70 x 12 x 3

    Tricep rope pushdown

    whole stack! x failure!!! x 4 sets
    db curls
    drop sets
    40 - 30 - 20 x failure on all. x 3 set
    diamond pushup
    these are brutal to blowout the triceps
    3 sets to failure

    Good update bro I'm trying to get back to those on db presses myself. I had surgery on right shoulder in Jan and it's finally getting better. Keep smashing it brother doing good!

    Sorry I have not updated in a bit. been busy with kids and work . Plan on hitting monday pm workout hard. gonna try and step it up on the cardio.

    Yesterday was pretty decent workout.

    PWO Hr before workout 2 scoops formula x,, one scoop amino energy.
    20 min PWO was one scoop supp D. DAMN that stuff is awesome!

    ABS
    Incline situp 50 reps x 3 sets
    LEG raises 20 x 3 sets

    3 min walk on treadmill

    SQUATS are killing my back anymore so Im gonna hit leg press pretty hard
    LEG PRESS MADNESS
    200 x 20 Legs close and shallow ( focus on quads.)
    400 x 20 Same position
    400 x 20 LEGS UP HIGH FOCUS ON WHOLE LEG TENSION
    600 x 12 x 2
    800 x 15 I wrapped my knees and this felt good If I had my training partner there I would have ripped out the 1000lbs but It just didnt feel safe.

    OUCH!

    man I swear Im not even hurting yet, My knee is a bit jacked but that is normal. Plus I kinda tweaked it a bit when i was getting off the lying ham curl machine. But overall not bad.. but Its still early. I hate that squats bother me so bad . I might try the hip belt squats next time.
