Thanks! I was pretty shocked. Hopefully it wasn't a freak performance and I'll at least maintain next week. This week definitely had the biggest strength gains I've seen in a while.

  2. Day 45
Sunday is my favorite off day since I get to sleep in. I think I got around 10 hours of solid sleep. I feel great and any lingering aches and pains from this week's workouts are gone. My recovery seems better than it has been but I can't pinpoint a reason for the increase. I forgot to weigh in this morning so I'll be holding off on checking it to avoid any inconsistencies. I happened to look back and noticed my goal at the beginning of the log which was the following:

"Continue gaining size and strength while leaning out with the help of USP and PES"

At this point I'm happy to report that's exactly what I've been accomplishing. As long as I keep the determination high and my diet/training dialed in I expect continued success with my goal.

  3. Day 46
I had to drop someone off at the airport this morning on short notice. This cut into my gym time but I still got in a good chest and tri workout. I either dropped , rearranged, or sped up my lifts to put together what felt like a very effective routine. I started out by shortening the rest time with flat and incline BB bench. I kept a max of a minute between sets and surprisingly continued to show progress in strength as well as endurance. The first set of flat bench had an additional rep, the second matched last weeks reps +10lbs, and the final 3 remained the same (weight and reps) as last week. I was happy with my performance especially with rest time cut in half. Incline bench was strarted with last week's heaviest weight plus a rep which was maintained until losing a rep on the final set. I then powered through incline DB flys with 30 second rest intervals and jumped right into cable crossovers with the same short rest. Without much time left I made quick work of my triceps by supersetting heavy v-bar pulldowns, light rope pulldowns, kickbacks, and dips. I'm not used to working at such a fast pace, but I loved it, and it had my chest and tris blown up like balloons when finished.

I weighed exactly 198lbs this morning. That's up another pound and +6lbs overall. I'm not very confident that the increase will stick if I weigh in tomorrow since I showed a "false" weight gain after last Sunday's day off. After everything I've been through (healthwise) the last couple years I'm now more in tune with how my body reacts to things such as diet and supplementation than I ever have been. Weight gain or not, my muscles fullness/density looks to be improving and any additional body fat seems to be nonexistent. I continue to be thoroughly impressed by the combination of Compound20/Erase Pro when it comes to promoting positve changes in body composition. I will definitely be using them again, both stacked and solo.

Thanks man! I don't want it to end. I doubt I'd be adding this much quality weight if I didn't previously have it. I think muscle memory (which I now believe in) has been a help. Once I finally figured out how to get it back its been pretty consistent for the past 8 months or so. The gains without any additional fat (actually looks like I've lost some) is a new experience since starting the stack.

Yeah it has. Looking back, the gains in weight and especially strength have really been improved since I started. Since the weight I'm adding is all lean there's really no comparison to my previous pace. Strength is actually picking up even more as of late. I've got my eye on that competition you got going. If you keep working as hard as you did with this stack you should do quite well.

I think so to bro! Nothing is holding me back for sure. I do not fear competition I encourage it. It makes a person that is already disciplined and on task and turns them into a force to be reckoned with. Strap on the seat belts this is going to get good. Fortunately my supplementation doesn't take weeks to kick in, I'll be kicking it off right! ;-)

  9. Day 47
Another solid gym performance today. I worked back and biceps and had some decent progress. I started with pull-ups and had an extra rep with each of 3 sets. I completed my 2 heaviest sets of deadlifts +1 rep and with improved form. BB curls were up 5lbs and DB curls had a couple reps added. BB/cable rows and lat pulldowns all had weight or reps added as well. I ended my workout with heavy cable crunches and bodyweight back extensions.

My weight was back down to 197lbs (+5 overall) this morning as I suspected. They last couple weeks I seem to be holding a little extra weight after the off day on Sunday. I'm not concerned about my weight remaining the same at this point as long as I'm seeing progress in the gym and mirror. Adding a pound or two in the next couple weeks would be great though. I'm torn between adding another 200-300 calories to my surplus in an attempt to keep the scale moving forward and leaving things where they are. I'm confident that the supps will hold of the fat after weeks of testing their ability but I wouldn't mind leaning out even further either. I decided that I won't be changing the Compound20 dose and will keep all supplementation consistent through the next couple weeks.

  10. Day 48
I got up this morning and couldn't wait to hit the gym. My workouts have been great and I was eager to keep it going. Today was my shoulder routine and it was a solid performance. With my recent pace of progression I've been starting a lot of my working sets with the previous week's max weight. I did this with BB military press and put up 3 extra reps. I added 5lbs and maintained 5 reps through another 4 sets. Last week I lost a rep on my final set which was 5lbs lighter. I did shrugs (smith) 10lbs heavier, DB press was +1 rep on all sets, and upright rows had an extra 5lbs without losing reps. I added in reverse flys (machine) and finished by supersetting front, lateral, and seated (bent over) lateral raises.

My strength and endurance have reached a new level the last week or so the run. I'm now progressing faster than at any point prior since I lost all my size and strength. The way my body is reacting is a huge plus and something that I wasn't seeing with the same diet and training before the stack. I'm adding weight at a similar pace but leaving all fat behind (actually looks like I've lost some). I don't think my thirst is as strong as it was in weeks past but I could just be used to it at this point. Hunger is still up but the intense sporadic hunger hasn't happened in about a week. I was going to keep all supplement dosing as is for the last couple weeks but I just decided on a change. Erase Pro will be taken daily from this point on unless I see any reason to drop back to EOD. My joints actually feel better than they have in a long time so I'm going to take advantage of the daily EP unless they tighten up too much.

Yeah I'm getting much more out of it than expected. I think my body was ready to make a comeback and the stack is making it that much better. I can't get over how lean any weight gain has been. Very pleasant surprise.

I'm not sure but I'm definitely thinking about it. I don't have anything planned at this point. I thought about maybe adding DAA and Anabeta Elite in some type of two month stack. I haven't tried Anabeta and it has me curious. I'll come up with something in the next month or so.

  17. Day 49
No gym today. I don't have any lingering muscle soreness from the last 3 days working out. I am however starting to feel my joints tighten up slightly after only a couple days of consecutive Erase Pro use. I woke up today and my joints were feeling a little crusty. I did some stretching and a few push ups to try and loosen up a bit. There was a small level of discomfort on the first couple push ups but they helped shake the rust off my joints. I have always been on the low end of the E2 scale when tested in the past so Erase Pro probably makes quick work of my estrogen level. I'm going to stick with the daily dosing for now but will have no hesitation to switch back to EOD if my joints become problematic. There's not much else to report besides feeling pretty lean today. I'll probably check my weight again tomorrow.

  19. Day 50
I had a solid arm workout today. Several exercises from my routine can be tough on the joints so I prepared by upping my Super Cissus intake the last couple days. It worked out well, and I made it through pain free. I had some type of improvement with each lift today. Progress with close grip bench is back on track the last couple weeks and my working sets were +10lbs. BB and hammer curls both had weight added and good form was maintained. I added DB incline overhead extensions this week and they were great for getting a slow, controlled burn in my triceps. I'm going to keep these a part of my arm day for a few weeks. Tricep pushdowns (machine) had a couple reps added since I last did them. I finished with supersets of weighted (+10lbs from last week)/bodyweight dips and 21's.

My weight was up slightly at 197.5lbs. I'm not confident that the weight will hold because I felt pretty bloated today for some unknown reason. I could actually see a slight difference in the mirror compared to the last couple days. I wasn't looking as tight overall and I'm hoping its only temporary. I still looked leaner today than when I started the stack which is a plus considering the weight I've put on. My joints are holding up with the increase in Erase Pro dosage and I'm sticking with it everyday for now. With 3 consecutive days of EP I was surprised to feel bloated today.

  26. Day 51
I woke up today, had a big breakfast, and was in the gym an hour later to work legs. I went into today's workout hoping to match last week's lifts considering the unusual increase in performance I had. All the squat racks were taken so I killed some time with 4 sets of pull ups and 3 sets of heavy machine crunches. I was able to push through an extra rep with last week's heaviest squat on 2 of my 3 final sets. I was happy with the slight improvement since I had a 20lb increase last week. I couldn't fit leg press into my previous leg day but reps were up since I last did them. Leg extensions were +5lbs but I had to dig extremely deep to pull it off. I also got in 11 sets of various calf exercises and finished with 2 sets of hanging leg raises. By the time I left I could barely walk and felt slightly nauseous. I'll take that as a sign that I gave it my all.

I still felt a little bloated this morning but not as much as yesterday. I started dissecting all my food and supplement intake and came up with a possible cause. The only change I've had in the last week was a switch in pre workout supps. I ran out of Jack3d and was using other formulas from my stash. The 2 that I used this week were WYKED (sample) and Lit-Up. Both of these contain some DAA. Perhaps that's the reason for my slight increase in bloat. I don't remember experiencing this in the past but it's all I could come up with either way. I'm going to hold off on these for the rest of the log and will use my Craze or Focus XT if I feel its needed. Another new happening is slight DOMS in my triceps. I haven't felt this in a long time but I enjoy it. I credit this to the addition of heavy incline DB extensions yesterday. Tomorrow will be a day full of rest and relaxation. Entering the homestretch of the stack I'm really focusing on keeping determination high and finishing strong.

  27. Day 52
No gym today. I spent most of the day resting up and I'll be ready to go tomorrow. My calves are a little sore today which doesn't happen too often. I've been trying to work them every way possible because they aren't very impressive. Other than that there's not much new to report. No weigh in today and I'll probably hop on the scale tomorrow.

  28. I re-read the first post of your log when you said that you were struggling to lift weight that you could lift when you were 14, how long did it take you to build strength back up?

I just ask cause I'm always in the debate trying to see if people grow off a lighter weight with higher reps or if 6-12 reps heavy as possible with proper control would bring more/or better quality gains. What are your thoughts?

At first it was a real struggle no matter what approach I took. I spent the first month stuck with very little progress. It was hard because my previous maintenance calories had to be thrown out the window. I kept increasing them over a couple months time and my strength started following. Once I finally nailed the new diet down strength gains started being pretty consistent. I've kept the reps on the lower end the entire time except for a couple deload weeks. 10 reps is usually as high as I'll go for any exercise. I actually keep most of the isolation lifts in the 7-10 range. For compound lifts I stay around 5-6 reps after a warm up set or two. It's been working out, and the weight and strength are still progressing. At this point my bench, squat, and deadlift have all at least doubled since I first got back in the gym. I still have a ways to go but I'm in a much better position than I thought I would be after the first couple months. I used the lower rep approach the first time around too. My training was always more focused on strength than size. That's always been more of a motivating factor for me. Size was just a nice bonus that came along with it. I've been slowly moving more towards bodybuilding over the last 4 years of training but I'm still addicted strength gains. I think if you're eating right for your goal, and punish your muscle one way or another it will grow regardless of rep range (to an extent).
