    Watermelon White Flood Log!



    OK, so I'm gonna be logging my experiences with the NEW watermelon White flood ( with nitrates) during my "slow and steady" style cut. I'm aiming for about 1-1.5lbs weight loss per week.I'm also going to be running my staple supps as well as some other CL goodies to throw in the mix.

    The plan is to have WF give me the proper energy & pumps to keep my workouts on-point through my weight loss goal. I'm going to comment on initial thoughts on flavor, pump, and energy/focus as well as long-term drinkability and performance enhancement.

    Day ~2~ 6/20



    trained Back

    Trying to improve forearm developement and grip strength so I've been using Fatgripz on any and every exercise that I feel helps. I use straps after my grip is shot.

    So I stuck with 1 scoop of WF for today and hit back and once again, the flavor was on-point so I had no trouble gulping it down. Was up late studying last night so the I definitely welcomed any energy boost from the WF. As for the pumps, I noticed 'em coming hard after the second set of warm-ups and each exercise after that filled their appropriate muscle group effortlessly. However, I did feel my lower back get a little too pumped during deads but there's nothing I can really do about that... Energy was good in the gym, nothing too crazy but I got thru my sets no problem. Still haven't decided when I'm going to try 2 scoops

    Warmup-

    Hammer Strength Lat Pull Down- 3x 12-20

    Working sets-

    Deadlift- 4 sets 10,8,6,4 reps

    Bent Over BB Rows- 4 sets 12,10,8,6 (underhand grip w/ fatgripz)

    One-arm DB rows- 3 sets 10,8,6 (first two sets w/ fatgripz, last set w/ straps)

    Straight-arm Lateral Pull-downs w/ rope- 3sets 10-12 reps

    Close-grip Upright rows- 4sets 10,8,6,4

    Supp Layout:

    White Flood: 1 scoop in 8oz water 30min before warm-up set

    Purple Wraath: 2 scoops in 32oz water sipped on from beginning to end of workout

    Reduction PM shot: 1 shot 30 min before last meal of the day

    Orange Oximega kit: 2 fish oils with lunch and 1 scoop of greens with either preworkout meal or post workout meal.

    Powercage gave me some great advice regarding nitrate absorption so I thought it would be good to share...

    Powercage-"Tips to enhance nitrate absorption: Swish WF around in your mouth ~35-40 minutes or so preworkout. Allow the bacteria in your mouth time to work on the nitrates to get the most out of the product. Also make sure not to use toothpaste/mouthwash within 4 hours prior to WF use (or within 45 minutes after use). My personal preference, once I have the stim tolerance (don’t start at this level), is 1.5 scoops 40 min PWO and .5 scoop mixed in with my intra."

    Thanks again. I'm gonna try swishing it around this time and definitely gonna try that other dosing protocol next week.

    The swishing actually seems to provide better pump. I took that advice and wouldn't drink it any other way. Also helps to get more of that watermelon goodness

    trained arms*

    So yesterday I tried swishing it around before each sip, made sure I was on an empty stomach, and took it 40min preworkout as per Powercage's suggestion and I'm pretty sure it made a difference with the pump quality. Didn't really think it could get better but my arms were seriously blown up! I noticed the skin around the bicep and tricep was red and stretched (awesome feeling)! Went to class with arms still looking all swoled up haha

    *I don't really train arms this time of the week but my gym partner bailed on me and I didn't wanna waste my WF so I just did some arms and cardio. gonna have to do legs next to let my arms heal up.

    Notes: I've been weak spot training my outer bicep/tricep area since my natural form form favors the inner arm muscles.

    Warmup-

    Hammer Curls w/ fatgripz- alternating hand position to Reverse Curls halfway thru- 20 reps 2 sets

    Working sets-

    Close-Grip Bench Press- 4 sets 10,10,8,8 reps

    Straight Bar Curls- 4 sets 10,10,8,6 (w/ fatgripz)

    Flat Bar Tricep Push-downs- 3 sets 10,8,6 (w/ fatgripz)

    Reverse-Grip Cable Pull-downs (single hand)- 3sets 8-10 reps

    EZ Bar (inner grip) Curls- 3 sets 10,8,6

    *ABs- Upper- 50 crunches X2 Twisting crunches 50/ X2

    Supp Layout:

    White Flood: 1 scoop in 8oz water 40min before warm-up set swishing each sip

    Purple Wraath: 2 scoops in 32oz water sipped on from beginning to end of workout

    Reduction PM shot: 1 shot 30 min before last meal of the day

    Some info I pulled earlier thought it was good :

    Beetroot juice has been shown to lower blood pressure and thus help prevent cardiovascular problems.     Off-day/cardio

    Just cardio and abs...nothing crazy. I couldn't resist so I took 1 scoop pre-cardio


    Cardio- 15min on the revolving stair machine at level 9

    *ABs- Lower- 25 leg lifts X4 Twisting knee tucks 10 x4

    Supp Layout:

    White Flood: 1 scoop in 8oz water 20min before cardio swishing each sip

    Purple Wraath: 2 scoops in 32oz water sipped on from beginning to end of workout

    Reduction PM shot: 1 shot 30 min before last meal of the day

    Orange Oximega kit: 2 fish oils with lunch and 1 scoop of greens with either preworkout meal or post workout meal.

    Update: considering switch to the Leangains diet

    One pre-workout meal

    This is the most common setup for my younger clients that are still in college or have flexible working hours.

    Sample setup

    12-1 PM or around lunch/noon: Pre-workout meal. Approximately 20-25% of daily total calorie intake.
    3-4 PM: Training should happen a few hours after the pre-workout meal.
    4-5 PM: Post-workout meal (largest meal).
    8-9 PM: Last meal before the fast.

    What do you guys think?

    Nice log so far, subd in. How's the flavor on the H2Omelon? I did a container of white raspberry, and compared it to a nice fruity shampoo. I really liked the results of white flood, more so than NOexplode and jack3d. I also like that it doesnt have creatine which opens the door for better supplementation. Good Luck

    I've only really sampled the two flavors of the new formula: fruit punch and watermelon. The watermelon is honestly the best tasting preworkout I've tried to date. Closest thing I can compare it to is a watermelon Jollyrancher but in my personal opinion it tastes better than the candy. I'm typically not a fan of artificially sweetened drinks so for me to say it's drinkable on a daily basis, is quite remarkable.

    Looking forward to comparing the before and after pics of your cycle!

    ~6/27~


    Chest/Calves/Cardio

    Killed chest yesterday! Had good focus and 1 scoop is still giving me enough energy so no need to bump the dose yet. Still not going to start Hiit cardio, plan to wait a couple weeks so I can better adjust my cals.

    I'm also starting the LEANGAINS style of eating. I'll be using the One pre-workout meal approach since my time for the gym is usually 2:45-3:15.

    Sample setup

    12-1 PM or around lunch/noon: Pre-workout meal. Approximately 20-25% of daily total calorie intake.
    3-4 PM: Training should happen a few hours after the pre-workout meal.
    4-5 PM: Post-workout meal (largest meal).
    8-9 PM: Last meal before the fast.

    I'm going with a 25%/50%/25% split for my macros. Will post meals up soon.

    Hammer Strength Incline Bench Press 4x 10-12 (increasing weight each set)

    Working sets-

    Bench Press- 4 sets 10,8,6,4 reps

    Weighted Dips- 4 sets 10,8,6,6 (+30lbs)

    DB flys on a slight incline- 4 sets 10,8,8,6

    Cable Crossover Flys- 3 sets 12,10,8,8

    DB Pullovers- 2 sets 25,25

    Calves-

    Standing Calf raises- 3 sets 30,20,10

    Seated calf Raises- 3 sets 20,10,10

    OK, ok...how about an over/under? is it under 150mg per scoop? Just wanna gauge my daily caffeine intake.
