Second Havoc Cycle

    Second Havoc Cycle (45 y/o male, not sponsored)


    I did a Havoc cycle (anabolicminds.com/forum/supplement-reviews-logs/83130-rpn-havoc-log.html w/pics) when I was 42. Pulse dosing, 30mg M/W/F, 2 pills in the am, 1 after my workout (mid afternoon). Sides were some wicked backpumps and joint pain for the last 2 weeks. Taurine and Cissus didn't seem to help. Pumps and pain faded after finishing Havoc.

    I was recomping and ended up gaining about 7 pounds (184 - 191) and leaned out a percent or two. I didn't do any PCT and ended up keeping it all and even gaining more following as I kept my calories up. I topped at 198, then had to get some elbow surgery.

    Since then it seems to be one injury after another..... although I did hit 1,000 in a powerlifting contest last spring (with a 235 bench - pitiful, but my elbows are shot).

    So now here I am 3 years later back at 184/185, but carrying a bit more fat than before (~15%). Last cycle I mainly did a 5x5 workout for strength. This time I was planning a more BB type workout with higher reps and some more iso work for a cutting cycle.

    Rather than pulse, I was going to run 5 straight weeks. I wanted to get some feedback from the experts on how it looks:

    ON CYCLE
    week 1: pre-load Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA
    week 2: pre-load Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA, Cissus
    week 3: Havoc @ 10mg, Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA, Cissus
    week 4: Havoc @ 20mg, Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA, Cissus
    week 5: Havoc @ 30mg, Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA, Cissus
    week 6: Havoc @ 30mg, Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA, Cissus
    week 7: Havoc @ 40mg, Liv52, Liver Longer, R-ALA, Cissus

    PCT
    week 1: Post Cycle Support, Reversitol, Lean Xtreme
    week 2: PCS, Reversitol, Lean Xtreme
    week 3: PCS, Reversitol, Lean Xtreme
    week 4: PCS, Reversitol
    week 5: PCS

    Trying to get some Nolva - if I can, instead of the above OTC PTC I'll do:

    week 1: Nolva 40mg
    week 2: Nolva 30mg
    week 3: Nolva 20mg
    week 4: Nolva 10mg

    No feedback? Does that mean this cycle looks GTG? I jumped in last night and placed a Nolva order from an online pharmacy. Based on a bit more research, I'm looking at running Nolva for three weeks at 30/20/10 (supposing I actually get it). If I do Nolva, should I throw in a test booster?

    For the last 4 years I've been doing a full body 3x a week using big lift compound movements along the lines of:

    Day 1: Deads, flat bench (bar or dumbells), pullups/chins, power clean to military press, 1 set biceps/triceps, abs

    Day 2: Squats, incline bench (bar or dumbbell), bent over/seated cable rows, 1 arm dumbbell shoulder press, front pulls, 1 set biceps/triceps, abs

    I alternate the workout Mon: 1, Wed: 2, Fri: 1, Mon: 2, etc.....

    I ruptured a disk in my back (8 weeks ago yesterday). I took a full month off from doing anything that stressed the back (used a lot of machines). I've recently gotten back with sumo deads (still no squats), but still have some weakness in my right leg, especially the calf and hamstring. Getting better though.

    For the cycle, I was looking at doing the Westside for Skinny Bastards (defrancostraining.com/articles/38-articles/60-westside-for-skinny-bastards-part1.html)

    Max Effort Upper Body (Monday)
    A. MAX-EFFORT LIFT - Work up to a max set of 3-5 reps.
    Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Thick bar or regular barbell bench press
    • Incline barbell bench
    • Close-grip bench press (index finger on smooth part of bar)
    • Decline bench press
    • Weighted dips

    B. SUPPLEMENTAL LIFT - Perform 3-4 sets of 6-10 reps.
    Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Flat dumbbell bench press (palms in or palms forward)
    • Incline dumbbell bench press
    • Decline dumbbell bench press

    C. HORIZONTAL ROW - Perform 4 sets of 10-15 reps.
    Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Chest supported rows
    • Bent-over dumbbell or barbell rows
    • Seated cable rows

    D. REAR DELT/UPPER BACK - Perform 2-3 sets of 12-15 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Seated rear delt machine
    • Seated dumbbell "power cleans"
    • Standing barbell row
    • Bent-over dumbbell rear delt flyes

    E. WEIGHTED ABDOMINAL EXERCISE - 3-4 sets of 8-15 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Cable crunches
    • Hanging leg raises
    • Barbell or dumbbell side bends
    • Weighted Swiss ball crunches
    • Low pulley Swiss ball crunches


    LOWER BODY - (Wednesday)
    A. MAX-EFFORT LIFT - Work up to a max set of 5 reps.
    Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Rack pulls (partial deadlift)
    • Front squats
    • Olympic squats
    • Straight bar deadlifts

    B. UNILATERAL MOVEMENT - Perform 3-4 sets of 8-15 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Single leg squats, back leg elevated
    • Barbell reverse lunges
    • Barbell reverse lunges, front foot elevated
    • Walking lunges
    • Barbell step-ups

    C. HAMSTRING / POSTERIOR CHAIN MOVEMENT - Perform 3-4 sets of 6-10 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Leg curls
    • Romanian deadlifts
    • Seated or standing good mornings
    • Reverse hypers

    D. GRIP TRAINING - Perform 3 sets of timed sets.
    Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Thick bar or heavy dumbbell holds
    • Plate pinch gripping
    • Wrist roller


    REPETITION UPPER BODY - (Friday)
    A. REPETITION LIFT - Work up to 3 sets of max reps, rest 60 seconds between sets. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Barbell bench press (max reps on 95lbs., 135lbs., 185lbs. or 225lbs.)
    • Regular push-ups, bar push-ups or suspended chain push-ups
    • Bodyweight dips
    • Dumbbell benches on Swiss ball, flat bench or incline bench

    B. SUPPLEMENTAL LIFT (triceps) - Perform 3-4 sets of 5-10 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Dumbbell triceps extensions (flat, incline or decline bench)
    • Dumbbell floor presses
    • Rolling triceps extensions
    • Rope pushdowns
    • Behind the back dips

    C. VERTICAL PULLING - Perform 4 sets of 8-12 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Lat pulldowns (various bars)
    • Chin-ups or Pull-ups

    D. MEDIAL DELT or TRAP EXERCISE - Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Dumbbell side press (single arm)
    • Dumbbell shoulder press (seated or standing)
    • Lateral raises (dumbbell or cable)
    • Barbell or dumbbell shrugs
    • Bradford presses

    E. ELBOW FLEXION EXERCISE - Perform 3 sets of 8-10 reps. Choose one of the following exercises:
    • Thick bar curls
    • Preacher curls (EZ bar or straight bar)
    • Regular barbell curls
    • Hammer curls
    • Alternate dumbbell curls (standing or seated incline)

    F. ABDOMINAL CIRCUIT TRAINING
    Just pick a variety of ab exercises and perform them in circuit fashion with no rest between exercises.

    Any feedback on that workout. I'm also considering a 2-day split (Mon/Tues - Thurs/Fri) along the lines of

    Day 1: Legs/back/bis
    Day 2: Chest/shoulder/tris

    Any opinions?

    Reversitol V2 and R-ALA arrived yesterday. Got the ship confirmation for the Nolva - Truth be told, I'm a little nervous about ordering it since it's perscription.

    He's definitely too big to argue with, and old enough to know what he's talking about! I'll start at 20 then and see how it goes. It's been 3 years since I took it. I had some hellacious back pumps dosing at 30mg M/W/F though. Doing ED has me dreading them. I need to get some taurine, though it didn't help last time. maybe I wasn't taking enough.

    It's not as much that as it is that I was the owner of RPN, and I have done countless cycles of Havoc.

    Experience tells me that the 10mg dose to introduce the new compound to your body is only effective for first cycle.

    I've got everything read to go, but haven't started pre-loading yet. I'm a government contractor and my job is in flux - looks as thoguh the contract will be runing out mid-January. I've got a line on some new jobs, but waiting to see what shakes out. I don't want to get everythign scheduled until my employment situtation is settled and I know where I'll be and what I'll be doing.

    The Nolva arrived, so I've got everything I need to get going. Just waiting on starting a new job. I have an offer in hand to start 31 Jan, and another pending. BTW, I'm not unemployed, I'm a government contractor on a contract that runs out 13 Jan. I've know for while and have been looking, so it's no surprise. In any case t looks as though I won't be going with this cycle until sometime in February after I get settled in my new spot.
