hoopem6 goes beyond Thunderdome, and Mad MAXIMIZES his workouts with iForce (Spon.)
Greetings fellow AMigos,
iForce Nutrition has been gracious enough to grant me the opportunity to log their newly reformulated pre-workout, Maximize V2.
My workout schedule usually consists of a four day split (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). But because of the holiday this past weekend, this week's schedule will be: Today (Tuesday), Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
I will be updating this log four times per week to document my experiences, and note any additional effects.
-----
Initial review (before-workout):
Mixability - 10/10 - Mixed completely. Every last particle dissolved after ~30 seconds of vigorous shaking. Even after I had finished the serving (1 scoop) there wasn't any residual particles left at the bottom of my shaker cup.
Taste - 7/10 - Reminds me of a slightly tart, semi-bitter tasting, raspberry lemonade flavor. While it's not the best tasting pre-workout I've ever had, it's still somewhat enjoyable.
Energy - TBD
Endurance - TBD
*TBD = To Be Determined
-----
Once I complete today's workout I will be back to update the "Energy", and "Endurance" aspects of my initial review (including any additional observations).

Initial review (after-workout):
Energy - 8/10 - I can definitely appreciate a slight energy boost pre-workout. Maximize V2, on the other hand, hits the ground running with the inclusion of their updated "Cognitive Blitz Matrix" (which is comprised of Tyrosine, Caffeine, 1,3-Dimethylpentylamine, and Methyl Synephrine). I have to admit, within ~15 minutes of taking my first dose, I felt a little cracked out/jittery. However, after the initial "jolt" of energy subsided, I experienced a very nice, smooth, energy for the remainder of my workout.
Endurance - 9/10 - As stated above, my workout was super-charged. There was absolutely no shortage of energy. Which in turn, led to increased endurance.
For example:
Today was primarily a chest/shoulder workout. I typically begin my routine with dumbbell presses (flat bench). I usually complete three sets as follows:
120's (240) x 12
120's (240) x 10
120's (240) x 8
After three sets of such high repetitions, I am usually pretty well spent and more than ready to move on to my next exercise. But...
Today, with the addition of Maximize V2, I completed four sets as follows:
120's (240) x 12
120's (240) x 10
120's (240) x 8
120's (240) x 6
The six additional repetitions felt very gratifying. Especially since I am not taking any additional supplementation at this point in time.

It's 11:50 PM EST, nearly nine hours after my initial dose, and I'm still feeling the effects of one scoop of Maximize V2. I consider myself to be relatively stimulant-tolerant, but I may have to resort to only a half scoop...

Workout 2, Day 2:
I'm headed to the gym earlier than normal this morning to complete a full back/lats workout. Again, when completed, I will update my experiences post-workout.
Additionally, I have decided to experiment with a lesser dosage, 1/2 scoop, to help mitigate the intense amount of energy I experienced yesterday.

I think I've found my sweet spot at ~1/2 scoop. Today's workout felt just as intense as yesterdays, minus the "jolt" of energy I had initially experienced.
The endurance aspect of Maximize V2 also continues to thrive. I noticed the resting time between each set of seated cable rows was steadily decreasing.
Friday, for my bicep/tricep workout, I will be using my last sample packet of HemaVol in conjunction with a 1/2 scoop of Maximize V2. Based on my experiences thus far, Friday's workout should be pretty intense!

Day 3:
Today is my off day. Time to give my body a much needed rest!

Workout 3, Day 4:
As I mentioned in an earlier post, for today's bicep/tricep workout I would be using Maximize V2 plus my last sample packet of HemaVol.
The "pump" from Hemavol, combined with the energy from Maximize V2, makes for an exceptional workout. I mean, there were times when I literally had to stop on the third-fourth repetition of standing barbell curls because of how full my biceps felt...
Anyways, tomorrow's my ab/cardio workout. I'm thinking about jumping back up to one full scoop of Maximize V2 just to see how its' energy levels affect my cardio session.

Workout 4, Day 5:
Today's ab/cardio workout was amazing. The amount of energy I get from one scoop of Maximize V2 is unparalleled. Thirty minutes on the elliptical trainer flew by. Instead of hastily moving on to my ab routine, I decided to continue on... As a result, I was able to complete a full hour of cardio, a full ab routine, and the entire P90X Ab Ribber X training video. The endurance/energy aspects of Maximize V2 impress me more, and more, with each workout. However, it's now time for so much needed R&R.

Very nice! I hate cardio, unless a sport is involved, so anything that helps time go by like that is a great addition.

Workout 5, Day 7:
Nothing new to report, as of today at least. My endurance/energy levels continue to climb on a workout-workout basis. Also, I believe I have finally gotten past the initial assessment dosing of 1/2 scoop. The "jittery" feeling I had been experiencing has now completely subsided. As a result, one full scoop has officially taken over as my personal dosing preference.

Day 10:
Sorry it has taken me two days to update this log. I am currently taking classes over the summer, and have been extremely busy with the semester coming to an end.
Needless to say, the past two workouts have been fantastic as usual. I can not stress enough how energized I feel on only one scoop. I should also note that the "Raspberry Lemonade" flavor has inadvertently grown on me.
I guess I'm not entirely sure what else is left to say, that hasn't already been said, regarding the effectiveness of Maximize V2... I had ultimately anticipated a better following, so if anyone has any specific questions or comments concerning my experiences with Maximize V2 please feel free to add them!
