FINAL REVIEW

Cliff Notes

Premax at a full dose was awesome. Best pump ever, decreased soreness, increased energy.

Premax ar a half dose is very affordable, still a better or equal pump to all the other preworkout supps I have tried, decreased soreness, increased energy.

Premax review at a FULL DOSE taken preworkout

Positives:

-Best pump i've gotten from a preworkout
-Very clean and focused pump, no headaches
-Very clean and noticeable energy, no jitters or crash
-Decreased soreness and lactic burn
-"Viagra-like-enhancing" effects
-Tastes decent, doesn't taste bad by any means
-Mixes great

Negatives:
-The price is high, but you are getting what you pay for

Comments:
-In summary for my full dose of premax, the pump I got from this was extreme. It was very similar to the pump I get from hormonal compounds, and greater than any pump i've gotten from any other preworkout supplement that I bought or made myself. It by far beats any arginine or citruilline or any supps loaded with that stuff.

-My favorite benefit from this was the decrease in lactic acid. It allowed me to work harder while lifting, and also allowed me to have decreased soreness in the days following my workouts. It was very apparent.

-There was viagra like effects with this. I wasn't just popping stiffies left and right, but if I was trying to pop one...yea...

-The energy I got from this preworkout was spot on. Not all crazy jittery, and very clean. A few days I lifted on only about 2-3 hours of sleep, and after taking premax and doing a few warm us sets, I was ready to go.

Premax review at a HALF DOSE taken preworkout

Comments:

Premax at a half dose allows you to get 20 sevings per bottle, which is very affordable for most. That is 20 workouts per tub, so a month supply at least.

In comparison to other preworkout supplements, I would stuff rather take a 1/2 dose of premax than a full dose of any of the other (many) products I have tried.

The pump i got from the half dose wasn't as extreme as the full dose, but was still very apparent, and still just as strong if not stronger than all the other supps I have tried.

The decreased soreness I got from the premax at a half dose was great. And this is something I never notice from other supplements, which is why I would recommend a half dose of premax to everyone who can't afford the full. I still got a lot of energy from the half dose.

ORIGINAL POST

Sup guys...

I got my PreMax in today and will start logging it tomorrow. I lift three days per week, so it will last me a good while. I am going to do some experimenting with it for all of you (and myself), and give an honest review.

My workout schedule is this:

Friday: Legs
Saturday: Chest/Tris/Shoulders
Monday: Back/Bis

Exception being tomorrow...I will be doing back because I was swamped today (monday).

I will try the first 2 weeks at a full dose and review all aspects of it.

Then I will try maybe 1/2 dose and 3/4 dose to see how it compares to my first two weeks.

I'm sure those of you who know me know I always give the most brutally honest of judgments, whether you love it or hate it

Some things I will be reviewing:

Taste
Pump
Energy/Stamina
Endurance
And all side effects and any other effects I notice

Supplements I have used:

Everything...try me

I usually make my own preworkout c0cktail, and have made a TON of different kinds, so I feel I will be able to judge this well considering I've made some pretty damn good c0cktails :D

One thing I am concerned about peptopro is this. Pepto Pro is a hydrolysed Casein protein. Casein protein is not as anabolic as Whey protein because whey protein contains all the growth factors such as IFG-1. Casein is more an immune system protein containing beneficial immune factors. To put on muscle we need these growth factors. What we know of Pepto Pro is
that they have 'de-bitterised' the protein. That means they have broken down the protein further to eliminate the bitter peptides but those peptides are the active proteins which gives the casein all its health benefits. In other words they have gone too far with the processing, much like when you make amino acids, to make it taste good rather than engineer the protein and separate the beneficial peptides from the rest of the protein like hydro whey. Sure you will get a protein which is absorbed quickly supplying amino acids for muscle repair which does not taste bitter, but you have eliminated the good peptides and do not have any growth factors to tell the body to repair at an anabolic rate. So even though Pepto Pro is a hydrolysed protein, it still does not compare to hydro whey in regards to muscle growth and repair. Would I be correct to say this?

Not really. The problem is that you have to look at protein turn over rates, retained nitrogen, etc moreso than amino acid chains. What i've seen in my research on this is that it works out mostly the same for BCAAs, Whey or Casein. In the end, BCAAs or whey give higher initial absorption but they also have higher protein oxidation where although casien is slower absorption and use it has less oxidation so in the end net nitrogen retention is pretty close

Day 1 of PreMax - Legs

Today I did the usual variation of my workout. It is simple but powerful. I start off with a very slow relaxed workup set of squats. My knees suck, so the slower I warm up the better. Also, I rarely go over 5 reps on any compound leg lift because of my knees. Whether I'm squatting the bar or a new PR, 5 reps is about my limit.

Anyways, this was basically my workout today:

-Workup warmup sets of squats
-2 Heavy sets of squats
-1 Light set of squats focusing on being slow, and contraction (I end all my big lifts with this, makes a HUGE difference)
-2 Sets of Front squats
-1 set of "tear drop focused" leg extentions
-1 medium set of leg press
-1 light set of leg press to max # of reps before I can't do anymore (but no more than 20)
-4 sets of calves (various lifts and mechanisms)

Took about 30m

I wont bore you with my workout technique or routine too much since this is more of a supplement log, but if you have any questions by all means ask.

PreMax Experience:

Took my premax right before leaving my house, so about 15m before I started actually squatting the bar.

Taste: Ive tried a few single serving samples of products with peptopro, and compared to those, Premax wins. It didn't taste like kool-aid obviously, but it wasn't bad tasting by any means. Easily drinkable preworkout

Energy: I did in fact feel very energized. I'm running on only 4 hours of sleep today, so I was really hoping I would get a boost from it. Could have been placebo if course, so we will give it time :). But as for today, I felt great energy from it.

Endurance: I did nothing that could show endurance today as far as running or whatever goes. And most of my leg workouts are low reps, so I dont need endurance. But I did feel that when I hit rep 5 for all my heavy lifts my legs were less tired. I will have other days where I can test the endurance better.

Pump: Alright this I know wasn't placebo. My legs were getting so pumped towards the middle of my workout that by the end I was having trouble going all the way down on my lifts just because they were so pumped. It was pretty sweet actually haha. Only thing that's ever done this to me before was certain hormonals :D. Pump was great. Had trouble walking up my stairs when I got home. My calves look pretty sweet. Lasts a very long time as well, which is nice as I drink my postworkout smoothie courtosy of my gym.

Any questions? I think I covered enough

uhhhh sxientiicslly? that one isn't in my dictionary....
Haha I was about to say the same thing.

The GPLC at the 4.6g dose felt awesome. Nice to know I had a long lasting pump as well to help deliver the peptopro and everything else in the mix to my muscle.

My next workout day will be Chest on Friday -- My workout schedule got a little messed up this week, but it will all work itself out :D

Friday 11/20 - DAY TWO OF PREMAX - CHEST

Awesome workout today. I was pretty tired as usual, since it's friday, but after taking the premax and warming up I felt wide awake. Without any stims :). I hate stims preworkout, which was one of the biggest reasons I went with premax.

Todays workout mainly consisted of:

Inclined Bench
Bench
Close Grip
Isolated tri exercise with high reps
side, front, rear lat raises
High rep low pully chest fly

The pump today was amazing, as well as the energy. It's safe to say that neither of these attributes are a placebo.

I had a lot of very good clean energy my entire workout, and still writing this, I am pumped and energized.

The pump was VERY strong today, especially when I got towards the end of my workout, my rotator cuffs actually hurt just when I had my arms at my side, from the pumped muscle being THAT pumped (remember I have bad shoulders). Again, the only time this has happened to me is with certain hormonal products.

I didn't get any headache like other preworkouts have given me. The pump is very focused.

I took a full dose of premax.

The fact that it is stim free and very "pure" in my eyes according to the label (no prop blend and nothing i've never heard of) makes me very happy.

I'll keep the updates coming! I got back and bis this weekend!

I'm following you on this journey. I love the pump. I might just give this a try just for the pump if nothing else.

Alright guys - Day 3 of Premax - back workout

Worked out back yesterday. Awesome workout. Went up 10lbs on deadlifts.

My back was extremely pumped, and my forearms and bi's felt solid as a rock. Very good feeling from the premax.

One thing I would like to note is that after all of these workouts I have experienced NO soreness. I even went rock wall climbing at a rock gym for 2 hours yesterday. Last time it made my forearms extremely sore, but this time, NOPE.

I think the lactate buffering effects of premax are not something that should be ignored. Good stuff so far!

The buffering of the lactic acid is my favorite characteristic of GPLC, I also like the warm sensation lol. It seems to get better the more you use it, I gain strength from it.

Yup i agree. No soreness = amazing
That is why I use it so often, nothing out there delivers like it, the problem is its not cheap, ATP production is definitely noted as well. Does it make you hungry?
