X-Dreaming @ niGHt - Doms REMoval. Sponsored.
IronLungz being tha champeen that he is has decided to quell the whiney northern storm and send a canadain some sweet ish to log.
During this time i will touch myself in my shower and make a log detailing the effects i experince with various to be named factors such as:
As well as any peritnent objective observations that i can attribute to this supplement by IBE.
I want this log to be interesting so feel free to post pics of hot chicks and have idle conversation for the conveniece of viewers i will post a summary in the beggining posts and edit the post weekly to keep the vital observations easy to find.
New & Improved X-Dream from IBE - $26.49
- 04-02-2009, 06:03 PM
So after my run of 5 on 2 off, dosing sublingually (under tounge) and then having a few days at the end for a basis of camparison i have dicerned the following.
In the last two-three days, without x-dreams i have awoken prematurely during the night at approx 4am and had a hardtime getting to sleep again. I am tired during the day, wanting a nap and a little red around the eyes. People say you look tired....
This is a far stretch from what i experienced from X-dreams. I was rested, alert, energetic and happy with only my very noisy roomies to disturb me from my 9-10 hour slumber.
I definitely had dreams, i remebered them long enough to know it had happened but wasnt always able to retain them long enough to log details.
Does X-dreams do what it claims?:
Well in a word yeah. I cannot say for sure that i experienced improved recovery from a DOMS perspective but from a recharging your batteries at night perspective i definitely did have improved recovery. I felt eager to tackle tasks and ready to rock all day long.
I did have some crazy vivid dreams especially during the first week. The dreams stuck with me all day they were so vivid and i was in a super deep sleep for atleast 8 hours.
My sleep was more effective although the duration i spent lying in bed hadnt changed much i was now spending almost all of that time asleep. When i dosed sublingually i felt it kick in. It was a heavy, relaxed, almost buzzed kinda feeling where you knew it was time to power down asap.
I think my appetite increased and i got a touch leaner but since i did not measure or responsibly monitor this i will not say forsure so i can keep this log review upon the variables that i am certain of.
Can you put a price tag on a good nights sleep? well IBE has and its a pretty good deal IMO, in the future i would run this for 5 day spurts and take 3-4 off to make it last a super long time or use it Pro-Re-Nata (as needed). I am not typically plagued by poor sleep... or so i thought and the only way i "saw the light" was to run X-dreams for a while and see what sleeping is supposed to feel like. When you feel good you put yourself inline for a promotion, improve relationships and generally increase productivity and i noticed that was how it affected me.
There was no taste while swallowing the caps. When i opened up the caps and dosed under the tounge it tasted kinda like a mild mixture of cheese powder and salt or somthing i didnt mind it at all for the duration that i tasted it, it was a piece of cake and a non issue in terms of being a deterent.
I will try this again, i will recommend this product and a big thank you to Iron lungz, IBE and the crew for following along and giving me a bottle of X-dreams to run in this sponsored log.

So last night i slept from 200am until 300pm. A solid 13 hours with some sleep interupption of life going on around a sleeping beauty.
I had several vivd dreams (i mean ones i remember) nothing too extaordinary like a pudding stadium with naked women but still kinda cool dreams.
Dream 1: I was in Italy (wtf) and i was there with my rugby team. We set up some canvas style tents and i was out and about at this giant outdoor area full of other rugby teams. I walked past some guys playing frizbee and when it came near me i threw it and it was nowhere near the guy and some others began to mock me. I ignored them and then when they threw frizbees at me and i did not pass them back they tried to fight me and i landed some goods shots before awaking.
Dream 2: picked up with dream 1 and now the tents were buildings and submerged under water in a 20-30ft deep lake. I had to swim down to the underwater building and go in through a hatch that didnt let water inside somehow (wtf). So now im drunk and with my rugby team in an underwater building playing drinking games. I sneak off to take a whiz and a girl there is pretending not to but blatantly trying to look at my hammer. I dont remember much after this. (I had some girls spy on me taking a leak at a real rugby tourney so i dunno if this correlates).
Dream 3: Its hazy but it involved me playing blackjack in the casino and winning a rediculous amount of money.
This is all i remember and it is possible i am experiencing "rem rebound" where you have alot of rem sleep due to being in a rem deficit. I am curious if the grogginess persists.
Sleep quality: After opening and dosing the contents of two caps under my tounge i felt heavy, relaxed and had one motivation... to be sleeping. I had to pee early into my sleep but did not have the motivation or inclination to do so, so i slept for a few more hours. When i did get up i was super groggy, off balance and had trouble focusing my eyes and keeping them open. I slept very soundly and heavily.
Recovery: I am rocking some chest DOMS that started before i dosed x-dreams and it persists.
I will also state that today was quite posibly one of the most productive dates ive had in recent memory. I was efficient, motivated, non stop and others could not keep up to me. I was raging hungry this morning after not eating for 13 hours so i made a 5 egg burrito and ate it while i drove to work. At work i dug out a waaay messy over stuffed closet and sorted every last thing in there, thats what i mean by productive. I work with people with disablities so this closet was camping gear, rec gear, pics, awards, bike and gear, forms, bills, videos, cd's, steros stuff, and basically boxes of misc stuff that gets moved and stored, moved and stored for decades.
After waking i felt alert and so on point that i was irritated when others could not keep up. I carried a half full deep freeze across a 100+ ft apartment parking lot on one shoulder and was super tired after setting it down on the other side. It took a few tries to get it on my shoulder using a wooden ledge to get under one side. I broke a sweat today, which is rare, but i just had a cup of coffee.

Great update, SWG!
The groggines will subside slightly once you bacome adjusted to X-Dreams.
But, it sounds as if it worked well!

i love the pudding stadium with naked ladies dreams...
maybe you'll get one tonight...

Short and sweet. I was still vibin at 100am after work (get off at midnight) and so i decided to take care of a few quick stops before we head off to powder king to ski and dj tonight. After dosing two caps under the toungue i started to wind down rather quickly and before long i was asking myself "self: why am i not in bed?". I slept from 230am till 830 am but when i knew it was time to get up my mind was more alert than yesterday and i was pacing in my head over all the things i still had to do to make it ont he hill by 1201pm. I slept soundly but not as heavily as last time. I had some weird dreams and heres what i remember.
Dream 1: I was in a weird wire/cage style land, sort of like a video game shopping cart maze or something. Everything was wire and there was PO'ed dogs trying to attack me but jumping off the ledge into an abyss. I was trying to rescue someone but at other points in this dream i was this girl in first person also evading capture and want not. It was weird at one point the floor broke loose and i was clinging to a cage wall and trying to be sneaky to evade flaming ammunitions. Weird.
Dream 2: It was a loose reinterpretation of my day and the day to come. I was running around trying to get things accomplished but always had something else to do. Much like today and yesterday i have some stuff to accomplish to make my ski trip enjoyable and timely.
I dont remember #3
My chest and front delts are still sore, i have some wicked looking red stretch marks i must have started on chest day over my front right delt. My hips are sore from bearing the load of a deepfreeze, weird but whatever.
I feel rejevenated, recharged and ready to rock. I can still go back to bed at this stage but once i get going ill be fine. I am a little behind at this stage so lets hope i dont get to be an azz with my girlfriend because she has one speed most times.
I wonder if x-dreams has a stim enhancing effect cause i went all day with one coffee and definitely felt the caffeine buzz. Possibly too much as i had been rocking till after 2am until the x-dreams slowed me down. It more likely that i slept 13 hours then drank coffee its simple recipe. I find i am constantly thinking about what is next to do and more motivated than normal even with 6 hours of sleep that includes 1 hour of snooze alarm every 9 minutes.
I cannot comment on much else at this stage as i typically am quite objective and will definitely notice emerging patterns and changes in my life cycle due to sleep and chemical changes.
04-06-2009, 08:17 PM
Day 3 and 4:
Sleep has been very deep and the length varies with my lifes obligations. Ive found myself feeling like i can always sleep more lately. Ive had 6 and 7 hours sleep in the last two nights so that explains alot since i am typically a 8-9 hour a night kinda guy. On Sat morning i got up early and cant be in bed before 1am since i get off work at 12midnight. Sunday morning i slept pretty good but was up very late after working security for friends at the hall they own.
Every single night i have alot of Odd and vivid dreams. I have been attacked by a Iguana, had slept with some randoms (not my g/f), I have been lost, and playing blackjack (a hobby at times). I close my eyes and i am seemingly instantly in dream land.
Ive also noted that if i wake up to my alarm, set if another half hour ahead, i am waking from a dream 30 minutes later. I had a long 3 hour nap today as last night was fairly late and i had to drive my son to school for 830. During this time i had plently more dreams and they appear to be in a higher frequnecy than i am accustomed too since i rarely remember dreaming at all.
I am wondering if i am experienceing REM Rebound as this occurs in the sleep deprived, people living near highways and typically in people with aches and pains as they rarely spend enough time in REM sleep.
Interesting fact: Sleep loss is cumulative, it adds up, it doesnt go away without "catching up".
Also your IQ is directly correlated with your REM sleep, if you are low in REM your IQ drops in accordance with your REM deficit growing.
As you catch up in REM your IQ regains back to your starting point with idea REM sleep.
This one has not been so great, i cannot however state that my caloric intake hasn't been 100% and i am prone to DOMS. I skiied all day Sat, played 2 hours of rugby on sunday, and i am all sore all over. I dont like moving today.
I am wondering at this stage if my REM freqency will change if i am in fact in a deficit and do at some point "catch up". This will be known to me soon im sure. Any reps feel free to chime in. Also as i pick up the cue from my body to eat more calories i hope to see x-dreams shine with a decrease in recovery time. Cheers.

attacked by an iguana? man, i wish i had cool dreams like yours. x-dreams just puts me into a deeper sleep. i am naturally a very light sleeper (borderline paranoid at times), so when the cat jumps off the bed, it would wake me up, loud cars playing mariachi would wake me up too. sometimes, it would take 2 hours to fall back asleep, which really was cutting down my daytime energy levels. since taking x-dreams, i haven't noticed more vivid dreams, but i sleep 8 hours solid now

Oddly sometimes i find that its people i havent met yet or places i havent been too and only realise i have seen it in a dream sometime prior when its happening.
I once had a vivid dream about a tree where it grew out of the ground and back into the ground with dozens of limbs above ground and growing back into the ground. It had a very negative energy about it but in my dream i didnt know why.
Approx a year later while vacationing in Lahaina, Hawaii i saw the tree from my dream and the taxi cab driver said it was where alot of crime and drug dealing went on in lahaina and to steer clear. So i believe in our ability to see the future from our dreams and that is why they dont really make sense cause you have no rational thought to justify what you saw in your dream as it hasnt neccesarily happened yet. And othertimes its almost random and scattered, so i dunno lol.

Day 5 and 6:
Sleep quality continues to improve, by this i mean it is deep and fullfilling but also i do not experience the intial grogginess that i encountered.
I am sleeping approx 9-10 hours a night and feel quite happy and content in my life.
I can say that i have been dreaming but lately they are less memorable and i would need to write down what happened to jog my memory enough to report on the nature of my dreams as well as the frequency.
My recovery is still so-so at best, after two back to back workouts of heavy back and chest done "monster set" style we shall truly see. I have been eating a diet consisting of a whole food protein supplement by Vega with organic whole foods alongside 15gr of whey isolate, banana and 1/2-1 cup of frozen berries. This is my Pre-Wo, pwo shake is the same. Meal 3 is steak or chicken with a combination of slow and fast absorbing carbs and fats. My meals after that vary but usually i am getting 4 meals a day plus a snack given i sleep 10 hours and set home too late to cook. I will during this log add another meal or two if i dont see this improve but i do sturggle with food allergies or sensitivities which can destroy my appetite due to bloating and nausea. As of late i have this under control and should see improved recovery as a result.
My skin has been great, my mood has been better. As of late my gf asks me how come im so content and at times when i start to feel agitated i can easily let it go. For a period in my life sleep was short and i never had enough. I had a similar stage where food was tight so now i really enjoy eating well and sleeping as much as i feel like. Sometimes i can sleep 12+ hours but the days are typically unfullfilling and days off are short lived. I think my energy levels and sleep quality also is affected by my diet. I dont drink pop, eat dairy or junk food so when i do it rocks my stomach and makes me very lethargic. I may do a cleanse soon to try to strengthen my stomach.
Im the last year i have stopped doing smokeless tobacco, marijuana, drinking excessively and overcame a gambling problem. I believe all this was possible to inner strength, girlfriend support and healthy living and eating. At this point x-dreams feels like i am taking somthing back in the sleep department with a fresh start and a healthy mind i will continue on this healthy path.
You can do anything and all things are possible through believing in yourself, i did not see a counsellor, take any prescrips, hit rock bottom or lose anything. I just decided to want better for myself and anyone at anytime can do the same. THis is a side of my life that i dont talk about much because its done with but we can always move forward. With my frame of mind lately i am greatfull for all the joy and love in my life.
Dont think for one second that you need anything outside of yourself you have all the truth, love and happiness in you, you just need to look for it and all things are possible.

Week 1 Summary
So.... It's been a week... the questions i am asking myself are:
1) Has X-Dreams improved my sleep quality/duration?
2) Has X-Dreams improved my REM sleep cycle?
3) Has X-Dreams affected my recovery?
4) What would i say is the most notable aspect of taking X-Dreams?
5) Constructive criticisms?
Hmmm some tough questions, this wont be easy, answers below.
1) My sleep quality changes are the most notable, while my duration stays relatively constant i can sleep through nights with an achy back or sore muscle groups. I usually notice and poor quality of sleep when experiencing DOMS and whenever you move you wake up.
I think the most underrated aspect of this supp is its ability to put you down for the night.
Imagine this scenario...
Your up from dosing some stims, drinking coffee, hyped from your workout or possibly stressed.... You dose two X-Dreams caps, orally or open them up and throw the powder under your toungue.... You get tired and go to bed.
Ive noticed this everytime, after a stressfull day, after taking caffeine and after having some blast by nimbus nutrition.
2) I would have to speculatively answer this one. I can say that my dreams at first were more vivid and much more memorable. It seemed as if i dreamt all night and had several memorable dreams as well as many that were quickly lost. This aspect of X-dreams is less profound lately. I have been sleeping approx 8,9 or 10 hours a night but this is after almost a solid week of 4,5 or 6 hours so its been catchup time.
3) Initially no, lately probably. Me and punthra have done two consecutive days of "giant sets" where you do 4 excercises in a row with no rest with reps to 10. So 3 sets of 40 comprised of four different excercises. This is a man killer, punthra reported some serious DOMS to me today and i feel marginally sore. This may be when the recovery starts to kick in and me eating three steaks yesterday along side two shakes may have had an innate involvement. I am a little bit sore today.
4) The most subtle aspect of X-dreams is the calming effect. I am at times too sensitive, too rushed and too irritable. I think this is due to adequate REM sleep and having more energy to tackle life. Everyone has had days when you get out of bed more tired than when you went to bed this hasnt happened to me this week. I feel a general sense of well being.
As yesterdays update may indicate i feel that one can accomplish anything in life and a sense of calm confidence can empower you enough to do just so.
5) Constructive criticism. I am a supp junkie or a supp veteran same thing. When you start taking anything you want to feel it, so naturally when you stop feeling you take more. As of late, due to decreased dream retention i would be tempted to take 2.5 or 3 caps to feel X-dreams again. Another angle to view this is if it isnt broke dont fix it. I cant say that anything is wrong but i still sleep alot, i feel content, i am recovering faster and have gone to sleep after taking it everytime.
Since i do not have experience taking supps of this nature i feel a x/10 isnt neccesary but i am quite happy with X-Dreams. I dont usually have trouble sleeping but when i have 2-3 or more beers or alcoholic beverages it DESTROYS my sleep quality and i can only get 4 or so hours of sleep until its out of my system.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who...
1) has trouble falling asleep.
2) is restless throughout the night.
3) doesnt remember their dreams.
4) wants to decrease recovery time (to be used in conjunction with proper nutrition.)

Remember to take a few nights off every week so you do not become adjusted to it.
