  1. Kicking a little BC(E)AA$$ thanks to LG


    A big thank you to LG for giving me the opportunity to give this a 1 month go round. I am very excited to be adding this to my current mix, which consists of the following:
    ATW WPI (2x per day)
    Gut Health
    Iron Tek Glutamine (I am a huge proponent of adding this to my ATW shakes)
    Swell (as I feel needed)

    My workout schedule looks the following:
    7 days a week fasted early am cardio

    Monday: Chest (sometimes back dependant on schedule)
    Tuesday: no lifting
    Wednesday: Shoulders
    Thursday: Back
    Friday: Arms
    Saturday: Shoulders
    Sunday: Back

    I have done many logs here in the past, so they can act as a nice guide to how I log. I try to update daily, and be as thorough and honest as possible. Additionally, I have been on a cut (recently modified a tad) since July, and am down from 223lbs to 192lbs.

    I will update this log next once the product arrives, most likely today or tomorrow, as I believe LG said it was going out this past Monday.

  3. I am going to keep doing my modified cut. Early on I did not allow myself at least 1 cheat meal a week, which since the end of october I have begun to allow myself.

  4. I am happy to say that as I was preparing to leave for the gym, the UPS man showed up and had a nice surprise for me. Major props to the folks at LG for getting this here so quickly

    I mixed it up and started drinking on the way in to the gym.
    First impressions:
    Mixed very easily. Which surprised me a great deal. Normally products of this ilk do not mix well and stay clumped at the bottom. No clump at all. I also will admit I am always concerned about the taste of fruit flavored supps. However, this was not overpowering at all, which is the best compliment I can give it.

    I finished drinking it at the start of my lift, which is most likely how I will dose it.

    Here was my back workout for this afternoon, which was then followed by ATW WPI Cinnabun

    Neutral Grip BTN pulldowns (5 sets) 180lbs
    Barn doors (5 sets) 100lbs
    Cobra pulldowns (5 sets) 140lbs
    Close grip rear facing pulldowns (5 sets) 135lbs
    Back extensions (5 sets) 190lbs
    Inverted rows (5 sets)

    Felt very good as usual. Nothing crazy to report after the first dose. Tomorrow will be am fasted cardio, and an afternoon of arms.

  6. I was happy with hte flavor. As I aid before I am always so concerned with fruit flavors, and have tried other things that are overwhelming, which is a bad thing. This was subtle

    I completely understand that and know what your saying! I cant say ive really tried a "bad" flavored BCAA blend but i will say they are either gritty, or like with purple wraath its sorta "thick". Im excited to try ours for sure though.

  8. I erred on the side of caution and probably put in around 14oz of water, which made it more to my liking, however it went down nicely and didnt have a "shake" feel to it

    Thats good. Leave any type of after taste at all? How is it so far taste wise compared to Xtend or any of the other Bcaa blends?

  10. It did not leave any aftertaste, although I burped a little later during dinner, and blue rasperry coupled with eggs was interesting.

    Some early morning fasted cardio (treadmill):
    40 minutes 15% 4.7-5.8mph

    got a good sweat going, will be using my next dose this afternoon as a pre-intra workout drink

  15. mixed the drink this afternoon, and it did not take much shaking for it to mix. It goes down quickly and quite easily which is good considering the type of supp it is.

    Hit some nice arms this afternoon
    Bi's
    BB curls (8 sets) 115lbs 7 reps
    1arm machine preacher (5 sets) 50lbs
    Temple curls (5 sets) 60lbs
    Hammer curls (5 sets) 40lbs*

    Tri's
    2arm reverse grip pulldowns (5 sets) 90lbs*
    Cable skull crushers (5 sets) 140lbs
    Close grip BP (6 sets) 225lbs

    * is superset

    good workout, had a nice pump and vascularity working today. So far so good

  16. a little am cardio (luckily the girl opening got in real early today)

    40 minutes 15% 4.8-6.0mph

    will be back this afternoon for a nice shoulder lift

  17. Well my trainer (5.5 year old daughter) and I just got back from the gym, infact she cried when I told her that she couldnt come, so I felt she needed to be there

    Shoulders:
    Seated press (8 sets) 205lbs
    Arny Presses (4 sets) 70lbs
    DB laterals (12 sets) 3 giant sets with 40,30,20,10lbs
    Reverse peck deck (5 sets) 90lbs
    BTB db shrugs (5 sets) 315lbs

    Hell of a pump, and the trainer was yelling at me to work harder. Kinda funny

    Had my BC+EAA prior to lifting. It is amazing how quickly it mixes.

  19. no just once, prior and intra lifting. On my nonlifting day I will dose it am after cardio

  20. got in a little morning cardio

    40 minutes 15% 4.8-6.5mph

    will hit chest this afternoon and if I feel like it maybe a bit more cardio.

    I will also lift early am tomorrow for back. I will be in meetings all day tomorrow at school so I wont have time to lift in the afternoon, sadly

  21. had a real solid chest workout

    Incline bp (10 sets) 255lbs 7 reps
    Incline db press (5 sets) 85lbs
    Incline flys (5 sets) 35lbs
    Cross over cables (5 sets) 90lbs

    Used the drink in the same fashion as before. drank on my way in and finished during the workout. The vasculairty seems to be very slightly improved, however I do not know if I can qualify it with the drink.

  22. had to do a back session this am as my schedule is crazy today

    pullups (6 sets) bw
    BB rows (6 sets) 185lbs
    BTN NG pulldowns (5 sets) 180lbs
    Back Extensions (5 sets) 190lbs
    Seated machine rows (5 sets) 210lbs

    Felt good and strong surprisingly for so early. Also, very cold

    dosed prior to workout, got a hell of a sweat going

  24. have a nice half day of work today and will be able to lift around 1:15pm this afternoon. However I did get in for my am cardio

    40 minutes 15% 4.8-6.5mph

    Will hit shoulders this afternoon

    BTN press (8 sets) 165lbs
    Reverse peck deck (5 sets) 100lbs
    Arny presses (4 sets) 70lbs
    Upright rows (5 sets) 115lbs
    DB shrugs (5 sets) 95lbs

    Felt great, very strong for me

    mixed and drank on the way to the gym. Nothing new to report, same as previous. Happy to say the taste has not worn me down at all

  26. got in my morning cardio. luckily my gym is open from 7-3 today., so I still get my double

  27. got in a bitof back this afternoon. mixed my drink a little prior as usual. most noticeable for me today again was the vascularity. from right biceps down to the forearm I had a bit of a road map
