Training Dc training. I can only do my right side of my upper body.
Diet: around 3,300-3000 k. 300 -400P, 200 C, 150 F. Contest Preparation diet. On traing days the calories are higher on non training days I dont do much physcial activity so might be lower. Cardio on off days at least 15 minutes, sometimes more if I feel like an endurance high
Supplements; Multi, Vit c, green tea, whey protein.
First impression . I already know its going to work with the ingredients. All the others work , like Purple Wrath, Scivation etc. The only other flavored bcaa I done was Purple wrath. and I use to use bcaa powder. look how much better the bodybuilding industry has gotten, taste! and it is nice.
Taste: Taste is amazing. Blue Raz is great. Man things have gotten so good in taste on bcaaa's in the last few years.I only have Purple Wrath to compare too. the ingredients are a bit different so compare taste.
I drank a two servings already . one this morning with breakfast and I used probably 16 oz's.. and ice cubes.
During workout I took it with more water and didn't taste as good. Maybe no ice-cubes, too much water, or the water from their water fountain may be different from mine at home because it's in a different part of town. Purple wrath has a little different taste and seems to flush me more. This did turn my skin red(from the beta alanine) and I don't like the beta alanine feeling. this is the first time I took Ba in months so I have some stored away I only workout three days per week so i'll start supplementing with ba (lower doses 4 grams)on other days I don't train.Regardless, the taste is incredible and getting to the point supplements are almost a treat to drink. haha In fact since the raw tasting bcaa days, they are a treat!
. Everyone should have basic knowledge at least of what they're putting into their body. With these ingredients I feel very satifyed because I know this product has optimized recovery from those grueling workouts.
*note* I know these are not recommended exercises deadlifts , barbell rows, basic exercises. I can only do one arm so im going to have fun. Everything is one arm.
Today was my first day working my right side...(I haven't done upper body in six months)
45 degree incline DB press 60 lbs-10--5-2
chest stretch 20 lbs 1:00
Life fitness shoulder press machine 10 lbs 12-6-6
shoulder stretch 1:00
one arm underhand cable push down 15 lbs 12-6-7
20 lbs triceps stretch 1:00
life fitness chin assist widest handle 175 lbs-8-6-6
stretch 175 lbs (assisted) 1:00
here is the write-up
What It Is:
Intra-Aid. Targeted Intra-Workout Supplementation.
Proper workout nutrition (intra-workout) is an area that is being supported by a legit, growing body of science. Intra-workout nutrition represents the next big nutritional frontier for bodybuilders and weightlifters. Even so, many lifers often ignore this period. Why is targeted intra-workout supplementation so important? Here's a short list: proper re hydration, muscle and liver glycogen re-synthesis, improved immune function, decreased muscle catabolism, increased muscle protein synthesis, increased muscle anabolism, faster recovery and training at a higher intensity. It's amazing how so many benefits can get overlooked. Intra-Aid? brings intra-workout nutrition into the 21st century. It's a combination of key complexes that work in synergy to maximize the aforementioned benefits of workout supplementation. Intra-Aid consists of 5 potent components: fast-acting hydrolyzed protein, a highly specialized carbohydrate blend, critical electrolytes, an essential amino acid blend, and key ergogenic agents. Intra-Aid combines all of the scientific benefits of proper intra-workout supplementation, leaving out the guesswork. The gym water fountain and popular high fructose "sports" drinks may be good for the regular athlete, but for the serious weight lifter, they just can't compare. Think of Intra-Aid as first-aid for your workout.

Damn Smeton, you're big. Will be followin' your log, as I continue to be impressed with Universal/Animal. Beat-alanine can definitely be unpleasant to virgins and those that haven't used in a while, but it can be a fantastic endurance booster.
Just curiouis, is your one arm bigger than the other?

Gotta admit, I'm no fan of the BA "tingles". I've posted it here, along with my other observations about Intra-Aid: Intra-Aid: My First Experience

Solid. Intra-Aid is much more than a BCAA supp. For starters, it has EAAs (think EAA Stack or Animal Nitro). To that, there's WPH, which is absorbed even faster than free form EAAs. That makes up the PRO/AA combo. To that, there's CHO (carbs), electrolytes, and the other goodies. So Intra-Aid is complete.
Great taste, eh? For me, my sweet spot is around 25-30 oz of water per scoop (or around 55 oz for two scoops, which is what I've been running). I've mixed Intra-Aid with BCAA Stack yesterday, and am gonna mix it with EAA Stack today, as an experiment. Then on to my "slurpee" concept and my Intra-Aid "on the rocks" idea.

There about the same, not even a 1/2 inch difference. even before when I trained both arms the right is shaped different. about the same, though. I hope to be training both by November.

I'll have to experiment and try. about 6 ice cubes and 20 oz water is good..
what is the "slurpee" concept and my Intra-Aid "on the rocks" idea?

Slurpee would be to mix the equivalent amount of water, but using only ice cubes and blending in a powerful blender.
On the rocks is like what you did above--Intra-Aid + water + ice cubes.
Right now, I'm also experimenting with adding other supps (BCAA Stack yesterday, EAA Stack today)..

Man this stuff is amazing. I mixed it with 25 oz of cold water , like Universal recommends, and it tasted the best I ever tasted it, before my grueling set of hammies. I rate this taste better than Purple Wrath, objectively, I still like CL. You guys got to try this intra-workout.I do have a question...how would mixing this with 30 grams carbohydrate with blue gatorade be? I honestly think that only about 10-20 grams are needed intra-workout and too many carbohydrates could distract optimal blood flow; although, I could be wrong?
Seated alternate dumbbell curl 20 lbs- 13x's(Im only do one ss on upper body untill i can use both hands)
Reverse wrist curl 10 lbs-20x's
Incline Nautilus calve press (Dc pre-contest calves) 3 plates and 25-5 x's (did these and all leg exercises in my chucks and this made them more difficult than NB, next time will have to lower weight)
Incline Nautilus Sumo Press 1 plate and 25- 20 x's
Incline Nautilus Zane press 2 plates and 25=15
2 plates - 20 x's
quad stretch 1:00
ham stretch 1:00
Man did I lighten up but damn does it feel awesome and tiring to be doing these high reps

I prefer to keep the carbs on the lower side, and 20g is the max for me lately (so I've been doing 2 scoops with about 55 oz of water). I'm not a fan of sports drinks and fructose myself.

Gotta keep it healthy too U. I'm another one that isn't crazy about Gatorade, Powerade, etc during workouts. I like a good intra wo supplement drink but then I switch over to water, and lots of it! I'd rather run to the bathroom 2 or 3 times during my workout than feel like crap.
I think tonight I am going back to trying my Intra-Aid with water just by itself the way it was formulated to be used. I'll go with my 1 scoop to 25 oz ratio. We'll see how it does me for chest...

My recovery abilities have been dragging and I'm taking the next couple weeks and downsizing volume, Ill up it back again when I can train normally. For those who don't know I can only training my right side and legs.
So I'm basically doing Dc training with strait sets (ss) and no stretching , except chest and back, right arm only, and a shrug ,in till left arm is fully healed, than it's on Dc two way split.
Wednesday
Low incline press 60 lbs- 12x's
chest stretch 20 lb db 1:00
Important note *I don't care anymore how much weight I did 105 lbs 6 x's in March and feel it more in the muscle, screw how much i can lift I'm a bodybuilder not a joint destroyer and I'll keep getting stronger, I'm just re-learning after six years to do it right and work the muscle*
head against 90 degree bench, facinf the bench db press 25 lbs-15x's
incline db tri extension 20lbs-20 x's
one arm db row 60 lbs 10 x's
db shrug 60-12
pullup (assisted) 175 lbs 15
Great taste and I feel better recovered AFTER I'm done and gives me peace of mind. this is worth the feeling of peace of mind.

hammer curl 15 lbs- 20 x's
leg press calves 70 lbs-10
leg curl 95 lbs -20
Smith super close grip footing (45 and 45)=7 x's
some nice lady came up and asked what I'm drinking and I showed her Intra-aid and told her about the amino acid's. she said she needed some of it.

Good stuff bro. I agree with ya too. No need to push your body until you break it. Just enough to get the job done.
So Intra-Aid is getting you hit on at the gym now? Who would have thought of that! LOL!
