Ever get this the day after working out? Lifted yesterday. Woke up today, went to shave and felt tightness in my back. Feels like a back pump.

yeah, its not uncommon for me as well... not really a "back pump" in the true sense, but that feeling of full/tightness is there. I get this most when I workout then sit/travel a lot the same day (not sure why, but seems a trend for me)... It's def nothing like a real back pump like you'd get from aas or something though ha

I have never had back pumps. I've had back pain. I've had back spasms, cramping... Never had the fabled back pumps. I've had ab pumps... Nearly every other muscle I've ever worked has had a pump, but never the fabled lower back pumps. Not from back day, not from AAS.

Well I'm hitting the chiropractor before work today. Hopefully he can fix me up...Dude worked miracles on my pinched nerve months ago.

If I go too heavy on rows or deads I get some pretty wicked back pain, stiffness, etc.

If it was really back pumps, I doubt there is anything that a chiropractor could do to help that.
It could just be "overwork", stress, or strain.

Well my chiropractor does A.R.T. therapy and it really helps. It's been proven to speed up healing of injuries. He also uses Electromagnetic D.C. therapy. My back yesterday was at 50 percent. Today it's at 80 percent. I got in a 2 hr 20 min lifting session today and felt great. Just went lighter weight rep scheme.

Keep the lighter weight and don’t **** your back again. Seems pretty straight forward.

Ab pumps are brutal. When you straighten back up and it feels like the abs are tearing

Exactly. The best thing to do at that point is Vince gironda's rest technique: hands on knees, half squat, shallow breaths.

It's been awhile since I had some hard ab pumps. I think I might change that. I actually like when I can pull that off because it seems to be hard to reach. Some guys though, "oh I just do tricep pushdowns and I get ab pumps" lucky bastards.
