27 year old Male, 6'2 200

Background, I have been lifting for 7 years. Went from 155lbs to 215lbs. Been around 200lbs the past two years. All natural during that time, I started my first Sarms cycle 4 weeks ago. Clean eating the past two years . Further I workout atleast 4-6days a week, which has been consistent for all 7 years....

I have had low libido since a year after I started lifting (6 years), I don't get morning wood hardly ever. I'm generally tired all the time but always get 8 hours of sleep. I also don't drink or use drugs.

Got my T levels checked 5 months ago.
Everything looked "good" I was told
Total Test: 610
Free Test: 91

I feel that is low for how active I am, how healthy I eat and my life style.

What could it be? Any recommendations on products that would help me or advice would be great!

Thinking about getting on TRT if I can, thoughts?

After getting bloods they agreed it was low and told me my total T needs to be in the 500s and Free under 100 to be in their "treatable" range..

Dude I'm at 400 total and I'm 19 eating well etc. And it's still not in the "treatable" range. The guide lines for this branch of medicine are blurry, because according to the Mayo clinic a 19y/o male should be within 240- 950 ng/DL of total test. So although my test is not normal (400 total) it is not low enough to warrant try and neither is yours which is a extremely frustrating. You may want to do some digging and find out what the clinical definition for low T is for your age, because it's alot lower than you'd think.

Why are you basing your test level as the causative factor for your issues?

Inb4 my test is 800, considering TRT threads

It's complete bull****, the problem is the doctors unfamiliar with this treat you based off numbers and not actual symptoms or signs. You can't tell me someone with 300T feels like someone with 900T but yet it's "normal range" for both..

When I said "treatable" range I'm talking about the place I went, they specialize in men's health apparently.

They said everything else looked "great". I am also looking for suggestions on products that would help with my symptoms mentioned above?

OKAY, that's it. I've been suspicious and now I'm convinced enough to advise against SARMS.
I never would have taken it anyways but I keep seeing post like yours with similar complaints and side effects, even an entire year later with PCT.

I am pretty big on chemical science. Mostly with the brain and body.
From what I've learned SARMS are not androgens but stimulate androgen receptors.
I already wrote a whole thing about this in another post. But in short I believe that the body detects it doesn't belong, and down regulates androgen receptors in order to develop a resistance, and restore genetically preset function.

Testosterone is a native agent, so the body upregulates androgen receptors to utilize it.
Just my theory from what I know about other drugs such as cocain causing down regulation in receptor growth. It also just "stimulates" receptors.

Very informative thank you!!! At the end it claims Test can be 50% higher in the am after waking up than in the PM. Basically it leads me to believe if you get bloods done in the AM soon after waking its not really an accurate read.... and that's when I was tested.

Post your bloods, or just write them down in the units measured and with the reference ranges. Did you have bloodwork on any other hormones?

I must have. I'm a little spacey today. I got hit on the head with a fast ball, knocked my lights out.

No need to be rude, those are fighting words.
I was only trying to lend helpful info. I don't see why you would respond like such an arrogant *******

Taking a breath sounds like some better advice for a reply like yours.

How would training a lot for a long time decrease testosterone?

I thought If you're building muscle you're increasing testosterone....

Unless you're over training or not eating right. But if you're building muscle then obviously you're doing something right.

Hmmm interesting.

Ive heard of some Olympic athletes having problems later in life from an enlarged heart.
Phil Heath had stated in Generation Iron that if you're feeding the body correctly it's impossible to over train.
I don't don't really think many others would agree with that.
Then again there's Michael Phelps who supposedly ate 17,000 calories a day to fuel is obsessive training protocol.

All things in moderation i guess.

Well 620 isn't necessarily low, but I can't really speak on the free test since I don't know the unit it was measured in along with it's ref range. Estrogen and prolactin are also important numbers to get checked when experiencing low t symptoms imo. It's your bloodwork; next time just ask for a copy of it and they'll be glad to give you it

Call them and ask them for a copy of your full bloodwork. It is your property, and they cannot withhold it from you.

You are insane if you think your test is low at 610 ng/dL. I guarantee you that the problem lies elsewhere.

Speaking at 43 years old here - in my experience morning wood isn't necessarily an indicator of testosterone level. The random boners that pop up (pardon the pun) when you're a teenager are more a function of a hormonal system in puberty chaos than an indicator of good test levels. Morning wood is the leftovers of nighttime penile tumescence, boners you get while you sleep. This is your body's "diagnostic test of the system". This testing cycle gets shorter as you age, and you may just be waking up while it's over. At 43 I rarely see morning wood, but sometimes if I wake up in the middle of the night I'll find an erection. 610 is actually a fairly decent test level, and judging from your avatar and stats is enough to sustain good muscle mass in your case. The real thing to be concerned about is whether everything works when you're in front of a real live naked woman.

And sex drive is really a complicated thing with lots of variables. Your attitudes and beliefs on sex, religious upbringing, desensitization from past porn use/saturation, etc. Also as you age, mentally your headspace gets taken up by new responsibilities, stressors, and hobbies. In my teens I could go 5 times a day and still end the day wishing I'd had more, but by the end of my 20s going for a round 2 was "nice" sometimes but I'd usually want to move on to sleep or going out because I had **** to do. "Raging sex machines" just don't get much done! Fatigue also isn't necessarily a marker of low test, there are tons of factors that can affect your energy level. Depending on your volume, 6 days of working out a week could definitely be it. Despite its benefits, resistance training takes a toll on your body and sometimes you just need a break. Give yourself a layoff for a couple weeks and see how you feel.

It may not be just testosterone, it's a healthy balance of Test and estrogen.
When my morning wood disappears , i know for sure I'm going to have problems when I want to use it.
When my morning wood disappears, so does my libido.

Since I started taking testosterone, HCG, and arimidex, I've been waking with very hard uncomfortable errections.

So I highly disagree that hormone balance doesn't play a role.
I am 29 years old. With low T.

When my morning wood disappears , i know for sure I'm going to have problems when I want to use it.

At 43 I rarely ever get morning wood, yet I'm good to go when the wife is rubbing up on me. There's a huge mental component to this; maybe no morning wood = expecting it won't work = performance anxiety and not working when you want to use it?

When my morning wood disappears, so does my libido

Not the case for me, and many men. I still want sex, think about it every 4.336 seconds, and have had countless near-collisions from quick head-snaps to check out sidewalk hotties. I just hardly ever get morning wood.

Since I started taking testosterone, HCG, and arimidex, I've been waking with very hard uncomfortable errections.

You've flooded your body with supraphysiological amounts of sex hormones. You're experiencing the "puberty chaos" I mentioned above.

So I highly disagree that hormone balance doesn't play a role.

I never said it didn't. I just said that it doesn't necessarily indicate low T. You could have extremely high T but no estrogen (or out of control estrogen) and still have these symptoms.
Out of curiosity, what are your T numbers?

Do you, or have you ever had low T?
I have and do. And not from any type of AAS use.

I guess everyone is different, and I guess I do have duo- epidymitus which could contribute. It could have to do with NO function. Because when I took Viagra I'd wake up with errections even with low T.
T is part of what is required to fill that organ with blood, and T levels peak in the morning.
4 weeks after starting test C. I started waking with very hard errections, and didn't take Viagra for weeks.
In simple, yes T does have to do with morning errections. Do some research.
But for some it may take more testosterone to become errect than others.

I also have taken too much arimidex and lost my libido and morning wood. Stopped the dosage, 2 days later they returned.
Even if test is very high, and E2 is too high or low, there might be problems with libido and errections.

Most physicians wont treat it unless it's under the "low normal." Hrt clinics, on the other hand, are a lot easier to work with when your numbers aren't under the "low normal" but still are relatively low. This doesn't mean that they will go straight to trt, and I think that trt is generally a last resort and is something a person really needs to think through before making the decision to inject 1-2x a week for the rest of their life.

My TRT clinic claimed anything in the 500s for Total and below 100 free they would administer treatment. Due to my field of work, I rotate shifts every 28 days so I am never on a normal sleep schedule.

Anyone advise against TRT treatment at the age of 27? I wouldn't mind a weekly dose if that's the only con

You need to get more bloodwork before you even consider it; for all you know, it could just be elevated prolactin or estrogen. There's way more things to consider than just injecting once a week; personally, I thought it through for months before deciding it's what I wanted and that I was ready to deal with any of the adverse effects

I have been thinking of getting TRT since I was 22. Maybe I have an addiction to gains, it's clouding my judgment.

But I'm waiting to get bloods done here in 8 weeks again.

It's a lifetime commitment. I just started trt about a week and a half ago. I felt ****ty, would get mood swings, emotion swings, was making no gains, lack of libido, lack of confidence etc. The way I saw it was that I'd be bound later in life anyways with cycling on and off, and I'd rather benefit from high t in my youth.

I believe the concern with it at a younger age comes from the possibility of TRT affecting your fertility, so if you would like to have a family someday it's something to be aware of. If you never plan on having kids, no big deal.

Take this into your own hands. Be your own advocate. I go to privatemdlabs.com and order this test.

It's $58 after a 15% discount code which is: Q24DFW

You make an appointment at Labcorp for your blood test after you follow the instructions on the web site (PrivateMd Labs).
You can then receive your results within 48 hours of your blood draw online, and print them out as often and whenever you want. This is what I do.

Well I'm not expecting anything too soon, but my workouts may have slightly improved. Im up 5lbs this morning, but that could more than likely be fluctuation and diet. I'll be doing a little mini "blast" of epistane in a bit; it'll most likely be working fully by then.
