Curious what would happen if someone ran a cycle, then ran their PCT but continued clomid use at something like 12.5mg ed or eod post cycle for a few months. Would this have any significant long term impact, either positive or negative? Or would it just boost test levels naturally till it's stopped, at which point levels return to normal?

I was actually wondering this same thing. My last week of pct I dosed 12.5 gr every day, which got me to thinking the same thing.

Yeah so if you pct normally for 4 weeks, then run a low long dose, is that benifical? I'd assume it helps you recover much quicker and possible even better than normally

I dunno, if you are recovered, why keep taking clomid? See this is where I personally distinguish between it being a drug, and not a supplement.

If youve recovered and are asymptomatic, you dont need it.

I agree with this. I have on occasion ran longer PCT's when I was extremely shutdown(6 weeks of Clomid). I ran the standard 50/50/25/25 and still had shutdown symptoms, so I continued 2 more weeks at 12.5 until I felt better. And then I got bloodwork confirming recovery before ceasing the drug use. Continuing a SERM would keep things elevated at peak levels, but again, it's not allowing your HPTA to function as it normally would on it's own which could impair it in the long term picture.

What if you have low levels anyway? Not low enough for your Dr (who's a douche nozzle) to agree to TRT, but still low.

At your age bruh, I say go for it;). ChocolateClen is a mere pup though. It would be no bueno for his case IMO. No offense SFreed. I'm not very young either.

No offense. H3ll, I know on a forum like this I'm borderline antique.

SERMs have been used as TRT, there's data out there but i can't access any of my accounts right now to pull it up. I have known people who cruise on Clomid or even Adex. So to answer: results would be positive, however you obviously have impact to the gonads.

So if someone is coming off after a cycle and doesn't plan on running another for a while, it's not a smart idea to run for a long period of time.

Easiest way to put it, for your scenario, would be you're cruising on a very very low dose TRT. With what you are asking i don't see much benefit, but i also don't see much down side. But like i said, SERMs have some very positive data when being used for TRT. AIs as well.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. My test results have come back as 300 so was thinking of doing a longer and lower dose clomid experience

So I was prescribed clomid for low testosterone when I was 28 (my T was ~390). I have AAS induce low test.

I took it for several months ending in 1/2011. My levels were 1,180 on clomid.

4/2011: 611 (3 months off clomid)

7/2011: 400s

11/2011: back to 390ish and back on clomid

So clomid actually seemed to boost my test by 1-200pts after stopping it for at least 6 months. So you could consider running say a month on, 2 months off, or 3 days on, 4 days off, and see how that works. Or low dose all the time as well. I just don't really like being on clomid if I can avoid it.

I guess what I'm really wondering is if there's any negative impact to running clomid for a long period of time. It seems like there isn't and after a while the body just returns back to where it previously was, but we all know sometimes there's hidden factors etc.
