Needed to keep my red blood count on check.
Can't give blood.
Don't want to talk AAS with my doc.
Very difficult to get a hold of blood collection equipment.

My other option was emergency room.
I was going to just give a fake name and go through the motions and get them to to do a blood dump.
But I'm red flagged for 5 years from donating.
So self extraction was/is necessary.

I know there are other people with this issue.
So just wanted to let people know it's possible.
Also very easy.

I've been talking to the old lady about it since she is a nurse. I stopped use of EQ after about the 6th week though....so not sure if it is still necessary.

I'm interested, bro! How did you do it?

2 options come to mind:
-conventional: buy a phlebotomy kit
-extreme: bust a hemorrhoid

They refused to let me But that kit because you have to work for a government approved agency.
Of your over seas you might get better action.
I just did another half pint a couple days ago.
I got a blood collection kit from a vet supply place via eBay.
16 gauge needle and it was over in 5 min.
That's the way to go.
The kit you showed is what I actually would have liked to have gotten .....but no go.
My bag cost 12$

That's even better! 12 bucks for a veterinary kit, can't beat that! Did you have someone watching, keeping an eye on you?

Yeah you need 2 people.....well in emergency I could do it alone. But way better to have a co pilot.
I timed it and 5 min was almost exactly .5 pint

I'm really considering this to do too. I could donate at any hospital here, but would have to wait, fill out forms and lie my azz off.

It's pretty easy.
Hospital wasn't an option. I'm flagged for 5 years.
So I had no choice.
This way is pretty simple.
And I did it right at home. Boom bang boom

Same here! Felt like a criminal when filling out the form, denying AAS use.
Will see if I can get a kit at the local pharmacy, should be a no-brainer in bananaland.

Pics? Always curious about this, as I just keep drawing a 6ml barrel a few times, which is a bitch. What kind of "kit" from vet supply? Google here I come.

Yeah, I did about 12, or 15, can't remember. It was a bitch. Had 3 just kept cycling.
And was only looking to get about half pint, think I got close and fk it. And now that I think about it, I can't remember if they were 6 or 10ml barrels. They're for this fkt up lyme treatment I used to do. But yeah, it was fkn silly. Need one of then hoses and I'll be good to go.
Thank you sir.

Yup We did it in the back yard.
I stood up and my buddy worked the vacume and kept things working.
The second run was way faster and easier.
16 gauge needle and no vacume is needed

You on accutane? What I did was I donated blood and called the donation clinic the next morning and told them I was violently sick with flu/vomiting/etc., and they discarded my donation.

Get a therapeutic phlebotomy then. It'll cost you some money, but it's better than draining yourself imo.

Well it cost me 7 dollars for the bag.
In done in 6.5 minutes.
Its easy. Painless.
Its really not that scary our difficult.
Literally ANYBODY can do it.
I do it by myself.
I know right where to stick.
I bought a food scale just for this.

I had help the first 2 times.
But I just set up good and time that ****.

So you say with anything above a 16g needle you don't need vacuum? And do you happen to know how much they take when you're sent in for phlebotomy due to sleep apnea/trt/etc? Will do my own searching but curious what you've found.
How often have you found is good for you? You running a fair amt of gear or just high trt? Sorry to be so inquisitive, just figure others may benefit as well.

Haha this is awesome. Love to see people taking their biology into their own hands.

Reminds me of the time I partied with an army ranger and medic. We ended the night with the medic teaching me how to start a saline bag on myself and the ranger. We got blood everywhere but successfully got it started. Woke up with minimal hangover and a small learning experience haha

Well I think the blood bags have a little vacuum.
I just time it for 7 minutes
I'm doing every 8 weeks now.
The first 2 times I think I did it every 4 weeks.

A pint of blood weighs a pound.....I believe.
And 7 minutes gets me there.
EBay blood bags for canines are about 13$
I think they have anti coagulant and slight vacuum.
But with 16gauge or bigger you could use anything to collect it because blood flows no problem.

I have it down pretty pat now.
Do it solo. Very little mess.
I put the blood into the garden also.
Very good for flowers.
I wish I could get my hands on some IV fluids.
Its easier to get juice than a full IV.
