AST affected by exercise?

My baseline bloodwork is coming up here soon, and I did a little research on liver values recently. Apparently, AST is less indicative of liver function than ALT because it is found in more tissues. An article I read said AST can be elevated from trauma to striated muscle (ie- working out). In addition to fasting before my draw, should i skip working out the day before so my AST is normal? Or does the body become accustomed to the trauma and AST normalizes?

I think I remember seeing a thread where Dr. D recommended skipping a day or two of lifting before getting bloodwork done. A search might turn it up.

thanks.

I was also wondering- for bloodwork on an SD cycle, would I need anything else besides liver and lipid values to get a correct assessment of my health?
