SD cycle help

Ok guys am new to this forum but i've been reading for a while now and just registered
I am planning on doing my first cycle of SD
and am doing my research and need some advice.
I am 160 pounds/ 14% bf and I am currently bulking.
I am planning to start slow with 10mg and am going with 3 weeks on 2 off 3 on 2 off
and am gonna use rebound xt for pct.
I have two questions:
1. What do I need to be taking along with SD (for liver protection, blood preasure, etc)
2. What should my rebount xt dose be for the two weeks.
Any extra advice will be highly appreciated ( I really don't want to mess up)

Milk Thistle for liver protection at least 750 mg and Hawthorne Berry for BP.
You could pick up some Pro Liver which has the Milk Thistle in it.
As for PCT I hear good things about RXT but I'm not sure what doses people are recommending. I know you can also take it while on cycle.
Other things you may want are NAC and ALA.
If bulking eat, eat, eat.

In my opinion if you are 160 and average height you may not need stuff for bp. Also a guy doesnt want to gain weight too fast cause at your age you could lose it just as quickly. A guy wants to formulate a diet and stay with it no matter how boring it is. I think you want to aim for 3000 cals a day or as much as you can comfortably stuff regularly. A guy wants gains that stay and they dont happen in a month or two. Regarding doses, I think less is often more, a guy doesnt want to go toxic.

I really dont think that at such a high body fat and low body weight you should be spending money on SD or any PH right now. Stick to a good creatine product and some NO2, you have obviously come nowhere near to the point where you need in any way a PH

and I want about 15 more pounds to end my bulking cycle
without adding a lot of bf. I've been training for a while now. I think
the sd and some creatine and food offcourse will give me the extra
mass I need. Then I can start cutting. Thanx for the advice anyways.

As long as you're old enough, go for it, SD is great and the side effects are few. It's easy on the liver and short cycles shouldn't hurt your HDL too much. I wouldn't worry about liver protectants as it seems gentle on the liver.

for PCT, 2 RXT's a day will be plenty, perhaps even 1. i'm in the 240's and 2 is working great for me during PCT. the directions on the bottle are pretty accurate.

thanx a lot guys but another quick question how long should i run the cycle and how long to run my pct considering this will be my first cycle.

I would run it at least 3 weeks and no longer than 5. I would shoot for around 4 weeks since your running it at such a low dose. I would also take your pct for 2-3 weeks with rebound depending on how you feel after the 2nd week. Since Milk Thistle is an anti-androgen, and SD has such low sides, I would keep the Milk Thistle for PCT and not run it during the cycle. If you are gonna dose 20-30mg a day, I would run Red Yeast Rice, and CoQ10 for blood pressure, and Taurne.

Are you saying you had a cholesterol test after a short cycle? Could you define short? Thanks.

I have to say something here.

Sam, it's none of my business, so ignore this if you choose, but I agree with those who say this may not be the time for SD.

You're 21. Unless you have a terrible diet, a useless training program or very poor health, you should be pumping put muscle.

At twice your age, I continue to build strength and muscle; gain and shed fat; and alter my body in numerous ways.

Personally, I would save the PHs until you've hit a major plateau.

I have to ask, what is your program?

Well thnx a lot for the advice. I work out 5 days a week.
mon - chest
tue - back
thur - shoulders
sat - arms
sun - legs
I have been working out for a year now, and i take working out
very seriously. I have no problem gaining muscle mass but I gain fat
too, so i wanted like 10-15 pounds of muscle before i cut, but right now
i think i will use it later when am more ready. The main thing for me is to minimize
fat while bulking. I think after one successful cutting cycle it is easier to do a
clean bulk.

That's cool.

It's tough to out on muscle without a little bit of fat. You just have to get used to that, knowing that you can drop the fat later.

I think you may need to shock your body into growth with full body work for mass.

Here's one program, tried and true:

Monday
Squats-5x5(Do four progressively heavier sets of 5 with the 5th set being your 5RM.)
Deadlifts-5x5(Do the same)
Bench Press-5x5(Do the same)
Incline DB Press-2x12-20

Wednesday
Light Squats or Lunges-4x8 each leg
Good Mornings-3x8-12
Shoulder Press-5x5 or Dips-4xmax until you get 12 each time. then add weight.
Pullups-4xmax

Friday
Squats-warmup to a 3 reps with 5 more lbs than you used on Monday. On the following monday use this weight for your 5th set.
Bent Over Row-5x5
Incline Bench-5x5
Tricep Extensions-2x12-20

Loading


Once you’ve finished the first week of the program, the loading on all sets must be increased. Here’s how it all breaks down:

Week 2: 82.5% of 1RM for all lifts

Week 3: 85% of 1RM for all lifts

Week 4: 87.5% of 1RM for all lifts


Both these programs are very hard on your CNS, so you will only be able to do them for 4 weeks or so, but if you eat, you will grow.

I like ur program, but can I squeeze in any lateral raises as
my shoulders have been developing greatly using them??
another thing what is 85% of 1rm stand for.

85% of your 1 rep max. Say if your max bench press is 225, then you would workout at 85% of that being 190ish.

Hey,

as it says at the beginning 80% is the amount of weight you can lift for 6 perfect reps.

I wouldn't overthink it. Hit the rep numbers it calls for and add gently each week.

The program covers shoulders with Military Presses and to a lesser extent, Dips. It was written by a fellow a lot smarter than you and I, so I wouldn't mess with it too much.

If you haven't done it yet, 10X3 is a killer. You may want to consider 8X3 until your work capacity is increased.

While it calls for supersets, you want to rest between each exercise on this program. In other words:

Dips 6 reps
rest
Row 6 reps
rest
Dips 6 reps
rest
Row 6 reps
rest
Dips 6 reps
rest
Row 6 reps
rest
Dips 6 reps
rest
Row 6 reps

Eat a ton of food. As much as you can. And get a decent amount of sleep. Once the month is up, take a week off with light recovery work.

Come back huge.
