For an interesting experiment, I submitted a blood
spot sample to ZRT labs (salivatest.com) for evaluation and
within 7 days also sent a sample to Labcorp for panels which included
total testosterone.
Labcorp returned a 139. Consistent with my known low testosterone
without exogenous supplementation. ZRT labs returned 49,000. Yes you
read correctly. 49,000 ng/dL. ZRT claimed to have retested the sample and
reverified the figure. I wondered why they took over a month to return the figures.
To those who are considering blood spot testing with labs such as this versus the
mainstream quest and labcorp; my commentary is; 49,000 ....
Pro's over 2g's a week usually come in under 7,000 on the total.
