If you dont want to read my story my basic question is can PH's lower your platelet count?
So, I have touched the stove and burned my hand twice. The first time i nearly burnt my hand off- this time not so much. First time: A while ago i took a PH and found out i had Gilberts syndrome by ending up with what Drs diagnosed me with as Hepatitis-A type liver disease and jaundiced out of my mind in the ER. Second time: Being fit is part of my job and I had been reading a lot about Gilberts and PH's. I found that most people said Transdermals were safest because it wouldnt effect the liver. Well... I bought the transdermal 11-KT from Iron-Legion and had used it 4 days and ended up throwing up that night about 14 times and ended up in Urgent Care the next morning. Doc takes blood work and says liver enzymes are elevated but not enough to make me jaundice or whatever, but what hes concerned about is my PLATELET Count was 98. Any info or help is appreciated.
He looked me straight in the face and said "I dont know what is causing this but if you dont take care of it it could kill you." He wants to send me to a specialist who can look at what he looked at and than he said he might want to drill a hole in my hip bone and pull out bone marrow to see whats up with my platelets. NO THANKS. I know PHs work well for some people BUT I PROMISE I WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING LIKE THIS AGAIN. And if you're reading this and you have Gilberts, PH'S no matter how weak or strong are not for you.
