Hey guys,
I am hoping this thread will serve as a warning to young bodybuilders not to use pro-hormones. Also, I am hoping to hear from some experienced pro-hormone users about their quality of life after having done many cycles of hormones such as hdrol and sdrol.
I personally have tried a slew of different prohormones. PPLEX, ALPHA-ONE, SDROL, HDROL, D-ZINE, EPISTANE and a few unmethylated prohormones such as androbulk, furuza-a and m-lmg. I kept my cycles short, used support supps, and never did two cycles in a short period of time. I always took a couple months off at least between cycles. Also, I tried to use the methylated prohormones in low doses for short periods of time. I experienced pretty good results with each cycle. However, I started to notice a decline in my health, and pains in my liver area during some of the harsher cycles. I never drank alcohol, but I did smoke a lot of marijuana all the time and abused pre-workout powder and adderall at times. I also used sarms-s4 a few times at doses between 50-150 mg a day.
So anyways, at some point last year I decided that I was never going to use a prohormone ever again because I was scared they were killing me. Quite some time passed and I was still getting terrible cramps and pains in what a I perceived to be my liver area. I went to my Dr. and he told me these were normal and just stemmed from the muscle. He suggested I drink salt water, or gatorade while I worked out and that seemed to alleviate the pain. I felt so relieved that there was a cure for my liver pain and decided it was definitely nothing too serious. That's when I decided to run a hdrol cycle at 100 mg stacked with 100 mg sarms a day for 5 weeks. The cramps and pains were horrible during workouts but I just kept drinking salt water and it seemed to minimize the pains. By the end of the cycle the pains and cramps were so severe I could no longer workout. I came to the horrifying realization that my liver was failing. I went in to get bloodwork and sure enough I had elevated liver enzymes, and a few other abnormalities that would indicate liver failure.
I am still very young and obviously never even fathomed having any health problems and already I am dealing with a failing liver. I am so concerned now that it consumes me, and it is very rare for me to go a few minutes not thinking about or researching about liver failure. I now take zero supplements, eat as healthy as I possibly can, have changed my workout routine to promote health, and do everything I can think of to try to reverse the damage. My liver enzymes have come down, and the doctors do not take me seriously, I saw a liver specialist and she insisted that I was going to be fine. But I still worry all day every day that I may be close to death. Seeing how little the doctors can do to diagnose and treat liver damage/failure was truly horrifying for me, as I had always trusted that if anything went awyr they would be able to help me. I cannot stress how far from the truth this is. You will be extremely lucky to receive any medical treatment, much less helpful medical treatment when it comes to liver failure.
I want my experience to serve as a warning to anyone considering using these deadly chemicals. Granted, most people are more responsible with their cycles, I still think even one cycle can do permanent damage to the liver and take years off of your life. I wallow in regret and pray to God every day that I do not die of liver failure.
